As she stood at the counter, a young man looked at her and asked, "How can I help you?"

Yan Yunci handed over a note and said, "Please help me prepare everything on the list."

The young man took the note, looked at it for a while, and said, "Miss, are you sure you want them all?"

"Yes."

While entering the order, the young man asked, "Are you a new employee?"

Yan Yunci thought he was just chatting and smiled, "Yes. Today is my first day."

He glanced at her and asked, "You look so young, is this your first job?"

"Well, the new employee often came to my coffee shop and bought a lot of things. This is not the first time." The young man said casually.

Hearing this, Yan Yunci nodded and said, "It seems that it is normal for seniors to ask newcomers to run errands for them."

The young man looked at her and sighed, "Do you really think they just let you run errands?"

If she keeps doing these little errands, she won’t learn anything. This time, her grandfather asked her to learn from the grassroots so that she could help Chen Yuhan manage the company in the future.

She couldn’t waste her precious time running errands for others. She could only study in the marketing department for three months before being transferred to the finance department ah!

Seeing her frown, the young man said, "When you go back, remember to ask them for money. If you pay for their coffee and cake this time, they will ask you to buy them again next time."

"Oh, by the way, I’d like a cup of cappuccino and a piece of red velvet cake. Since they prefer drinking your coffee to the coffee prepared by the company, your coffee must be delicious," she added.

The young man smiled and said, "A total of five hundred and eighty-nine yuan."

Yan Yunci scans the QR code and pays for the order.

After paying the money, he handed her a number and said, "You have a seat first. I will notify you when your order is ready."

While waiting for the order, she went to look up the book. She thought these books were boring books. Unexpectedly, most of the books on the bookshelf have high collection value.

Although not first edition or limited edition, these books are still hard to come by. She picked up a novel and sat by the window.

While she was concentrating on reading, the young man packed up what she ordered and looked at her. This was the first time he had seen a customer who was so attentive to reading. Often the customer will just flip through the book and then put it back.

Twenty minutes later, the young man packed up the order and walked up to Yan Yunci.

He placed the coffee, cakes, and breads she ordered on the table and said, "Miss, this is what you ordered."

"I’m sorry," he apologized again.

After Yan Yunci calmed down, she said, "It’s not your fault. This book was so interesting that I didn’t notice the surrounding environment."

The young man smiled and said, "If you like this book, you can borrow it. After reading the book, you can return it to me next time you come to buy my coffee."

"Aren’t you afraid that I won’t return this book?" she asked.

The young man pointed to her employee card and said, "I know your name and your workplace. Even if you want to steal my book, I can go to you and ask for it."

Yan Yunci looked at the employee ID card hanging around her neck and smiled, "I forgot about this."

"Then I will borrow it first. I will return it to you next time," she added.

The young man looked at the boxes of coffee and cakes and asked, "Do you need help? It takes at least thirty minutes to walk to your workplace."

Thinking of how tiring it would be to carry the coffee and cakes alone, Yan YunCi did not refuse and said, "It would be great if you could help."

The young man nodded and waved to his colleague. Not long after, a woman came over and asked, "Boss, do you need anything?"
