Chapter 1753: Chapter 1743: Heard You Broke up with the Dubious Man Next Door

Bobby gave her a sideways glance, as if he disdained her for being ’young and already losing her hearing and vision.’ He repeated in a leisurely tone, "I said, I’m watching what a woman looks like after a breakup. Wondering if it’s like the vengeful look they show on TV series. But I’ve observed that you’re adapting quite well. Though it’s obvious you’re not in a great mood, you’re not crying your heart out either..."

Enna couldn’t hold back any longer and pinched his cheek, scolding him with frustration, "Bobby, you’ve been secretly watching those horrible TV series again. How many times have I told you to watch less of those series, they’re not suitable for you! Don’t you like watching Boonie Bears? Watch more of Boonie Bears, Tom & Jerry, something more suitable for your age, okay?"

Everyone knows her darling son is a little genius, skilled in stock trading and hacking. But except for her and Olivia, no one knows that the TV shows her genius likes to watch are not the cartoons favored by children his age. Rather, they are the melodramatic series liked by fifty-year-old aunties, full of family squabbles and dramatic in-law feuds.

And he watches them with rapt attention, often making comments while watching, smacking his lips.

Enna is almost worried he’ll develop psychological shadows from watching too much of it.

After all, those melodramatic series of wealthy family feuds are mostly crafted to be as melodramatic and intriguing as possible.

Like fatal illnesses, true siblings, orphaned girls, prestigious families... basically, not suitable for someone his age!

"What’s so good about Boonie Bears, I’ve already watched it. Anyway, Baldy keeps failing to catch Briar and Bramble. And the cat can never catch the mouse, instead gets endlessly teased by the mouse. Not realistic at all, I don’t like it," Bobby said, unconcerned and justified.

Enna couldn’t help but pinch his little face again, teasing him, "And those horrible TV series you watch are realistic?"

Bobby glanced at her with his clear and distinct beautiful eyes, then leisurely elongated his tone, "Not realistic for ordinary people, but quite realistic for you."

"..."

"Look, didn’t you meet the Dubious Man next door, gave birth to me and the little dummy, does that count as halfway into a wealthy family? Didn’t Grandpa refuse your relationship with the Dubious Man before? Then Granduncle found you, and you transformed into a rich young lady? So yeah, what I watch is definitely better than mice battling cats, bears fighting people. I might even pick up some fighting tips from the series to pass on to you."

Enna was left dumbstruck and speechless by his twisted reasoning.

Bobby slightly raised his chin and continued, "However, the dominating President type like the Dubious Man, I’ve never seen in a TV series. Heh heh, they would never cast him as a male protagonist, his temper is too awful."

"..."

Enna was almost driven to laughter by him.

Bobby, after proudly summarizing his TV series watching experience, suddenly glanced at her with his beautiful obsidian-like eyes, slightly reining in his smug expression, and said, "Enna, don’t worry. Even if you break up with the Dubious Man next door, I’ll take care of you!"

Enna didn’t know whether to feel touched or start by pinching his cheek to educate him, but her gaze softened, and she pinched his cheek again, asking, "How do you know I broke up with your Dad?"
