Chapter 1569: Chapter 1569: Like a Fiery Kiss

Enna Clark was still immersed in the song from earlier. When he approached, she quickly handed her phone to him, "I got it on camera, take a look."

Baron Lawrence didn’t look at the phone; instead, he grabbed her wrist and held it tightly, making a possessive demand, "From now on, remember, your phone can only capture me and you can only listen to my songs!"

So, in her eyes, she would only be able to see him.

No other man was worthy!

Enna had encountered possessiveness before, but never like this.

But this possessiveness wasn’t at all off-putting.

Baron Lawrence was just that, a possessive and paranoid man, dominant yet childishly so!

Her lips curved into a smile, and she chuckled, "Okay."

"However, Baron Lawrence, when did you learn this song?"

She had thought he didn’t listen to music usually, and if he did, she assumed it would be instrumental music like violin pieces, cello, or piano ensembles of that sort.

If not for today, she wouldn’t have known he also listened to pop hits.

After all, with his lofty tastes, he seemed to find everyone else lacking.

"Picked it up casually." Baron Lawrence didn’t want to answer; he held her hand and pursed his lips tightly.

He couldn’t possibly tell Enna that he had stumbled upon the song by chance and, after listening, felt the lyrics were a lot like his feelings, which was why he had listened to it several more times.

As for playing and singing.

His piano skills had long surpassed the professional level; melodies like this, he could play naturally after listening a few times.

Just then, his phone buzzed twice.

Baron Lawrence took out his phone, glanced at it, and saw a message from Scott Harris along with a screenshot. After looking down at it, he frowned, put away the phone, and holding Enna’s hand, said, "Let’s go."

"What happened?" Enna was no fool; she had just seen Baron Lawrence look at his phone.

Baron Lawrence gripped her hand firmly and strode forward, "Nothing much, someone posted a video online, and I don’t want to be bothered by reporters!"

He had wanted to take her for a walk around, but now they had to leave, unexpectedly!

Enna instantly understood what had happened. She furrowed her brows but didn’t ask any questions, keeping pace with the man.

This was not a good time for Baron Lawrence to be cornered by the press, as they would inevitably ask a barrage of possibly intrusive questions.

Baron Lawrence’s personality was far from being the patient and genteel type. If tomorrow’s headlines turned out to be about him dealing with the paparazzi, it wouldn’t be good news for the Lawrence Family.

So Enna took the lead, "Let’s go this way."

With those words, she pulled him into a large shopping mall nearby.

People were following them, which could give away their location. The mall, dense with shoppers, would make it easier to shake off anyone tailing them.

True enough, upon entering the mall, several young girls continued to follow.

Enna acted quickly, clutching Baron Lawrence’s hand and ducking behind the shelves. They avoided the girls who had chased after them and found a blind spot out of their sight.

"Where did they go?"

"I didn’t see where they went either. Weren’t they just ahead of us a moment ago?"

"Could they have gone to the WC?"

"Possibly; let’s split up and look."

Enna keenly observed the commotion outside, waiting for the few girls not far from them to disperse. She then let out a sigh of relief, turned her head back, and whispered softly, "Baron Lawrence, they’ve gone, we can also... mmph..."

Before she could finish speaking, her lips were sealed, enveloped by a forceful, fiery kiss that passionately claimed her mouth...
