"Forget it, my phone’s turned off anyway. Come on, let’s drink~"

Enna Clark knew that Olivia’s heart couldn’t be as carefree as she appeared, so she picked up her glass of red wine and clinked it against Olivia’s.

In the blink of an eye, a bottle of red wine was empty.

Enna had only had one and a half glasses; the rest was all downed by Olivia alone.

Her fair cheeks turned crimson in an instant, her eyes began to wander, and she slurred her words. Yet, she didn’t forget to pick up the bottle of red wine beside her, open it, and pour more into her glass.

When Enna saw Olivia drinking a bit too much, she couldn’t stand by and let it continue, pressing down on Olivia’s hand, "Enough, Olivia, don’t drink anymore."

Olivia’s neck was red from drinking, and she subconsciously looked up at Enna. Realizing it was Enna, she let out a hee-hee laugh and burped, "I’m not drunk. You can relax, I’m definitely not drunk."

"..." Drunks never admit they’re drunk.

Enna kept her hand firmly on Olivia’s without letting go, insisting, "Alright, I know you’re not drunk. Let’s stop drinking, and I’ll help you back to your room to rest for a while."

Olivia refused to agree and drank a few more glasses, finishing more than half of the newly opened bottle. Just when Enna was wondering how to stop her, Olivia suddenly paused as if her pressure points had been hit, holding the wine bottle and looking at Enna as if to confirm something.

"Enna?"

"It’s me." Enna saw Olivia’s characteristically candid manner as if someone were purposely getting her drunk, her heart twisted in a knot.

The last time she’d seen Olivia drink like this was when she’d just returned to the country. Olivia had struggled to secure Enna a role as an extra with a few lines in a drama by dining with the Assistant Director. That night, she had protected Enna by saying all kinds of good words and drinking on her behalf until the Assistant Director passed out, securing the contract for Enna before rushing to the restroom to vomit profusely.

Back then, Olivia was also flushed from drinking, and her first reaction after vomiting was to make sure that Enna was by her side, visibly anxious as though afraid Enna would be devoured by evildoers.

Enna had intended to scold Olivia regarding her breakup with Adam Sinclair, but seeing her like this, all the words turned into heartache.

Olivia was now quite drunk, not maintaining any of the poise expected of a star, just making unintelligible noises, and giggling at Enna. As she laughed, tears suddenly welled up and fell.

She was just shedding tears, but there was no sound at all, even as her lips were forced into a smile as if she were compelling herself to laugh.

Enna felt as though someone had punched her in the chest, jolting her, and for a moment, she was at a loss for words, "Olivia..."

She bit her lower lip hard, suddenly standing up, and exclaimed, "I’m going to find Adam!"

As she was about to storm off, she found her left hand grasped by someone. Then the person holding her hand, seemingly uncomfortable, suddenly stood up in a stumbling rush and ran inside.

Enna quickly followed.

Olivia charged into the restroom, lifted the toilet lid, and slumped over, vomiting violently.
