Not far from the City Center was the Night Market she and Baron Lawrence had visited the day before, and Enna Clark casually took them there for a look around.

Gigi rarely got to go to such crowded and lively places because of her health.

She twisted her little body like a pretzel, almost jumping out of Enna Clark’s arms, eagerly pointing at the stalls selling various items, staring with wide, watery eyes at the merchandise, then turning her head in a frenzy of excitement to Enna Clark, pointing and shouting, "Kitty, kitty..."

"Shiny! Pretty!"

Enna Clark tightened her grip on her, fearing she would fall, "Mm, I see it. Do you like it, Gigi?"

"Like, pretty." Girls are naturally attracted to shiny things, and even though Gigi was small, she was still a girl and was transfixed by the glittering toys.

Just as Enna Clark was about to pick a toy for her, someone else had already beat her to the stall, choosing a little bear hair tie from a basket and seemingly casually picking it up, asking the boss, "How much for this?"

The boss was the same one Enna Clark had visited the day before to buy bracelets; seeing Bobby, her eyes suddenly lit up, and her voice softened by several degrees, smilingly she asked, "Child, are you buying this for your sister? So well-behaved."

"This auntie originally wanted to sell it for 1.5 dollars, but you’re so good, let’s make it 0.75 dollars for you."

Tobias Clark had no concept of the price of these women’s trinkets; otherwise, with his personality, he would have bargained even for a piece of scallion. This time, however, he was unusually generous, reaching for his wallet, taking out 0.75 dollars, and saying, "Thank you."

Enna Clark immediately crouched down and placed the little girl on the ground.

Gigi had already seen Bobby buying something from the glittering stall while in Enna’s arms, and as soon as her feet touched the ground, she called out sweetly, "Brubby."

So endearing.

And a bit like a fawning puppy.

Tobias Clark’s cool demeanor visibly melted a bit; seeming impatient, he tossed the hair tie to her while muttering complaints, "I really don’t know why you women like such boring stuff. A hair tie is just for tying up hair, sticking a bear on it won’t make it any thicker; the actual function doesn’t change at all. I don’t know why it’s priced so high yet so many women are willing to buy it."

His complaints were only understood by Enna Clark, Gigi didn’t get his point at all; her chubby little hands were hugging the little bear hair tie Bobby had given her, her eyes sparkling, grinning so much her teeth disappeared, completely unaware of her brother’s contempt, she laughed naively and sweetly said, "Thank you, Brubby."
