This book was an absolute trainwreck — not even the kind you can’t look away from, just the kind that makes you want your time back. The plot is thinner than a cheap bedsheet, the characters have the emotional depth of a soggy napkin, and the writing? Pretentious garbage disguised as “literary style.” Nothing happens for pages, and when it finally does, it’s so painfully predictable or forced that you start rooting for the book to just end. It's like the author vomited a half-baked idea and called it genius. Every chapter felt like punishment, every metaphor was cringe, and by the end, I regretted not setting it on fire. Save yourself — read literally anything else. This isn’t art. It’s ego in digital form. But it get's better gradually.
very good fanfic on the history of the french revolution the politic and level of detail in the story are out of this world there is truly a good use of all the famous character of this period with a great attention to deail making the whole thing and immersive while making you rediscover some of your history class
