In the dead of night, He Ao returned from the wilderness and, under the watchful gaze of the young Wilderness Wanderers changing shifts, dragged back a pile of exotic beast carcasses.

He Ao entered his rented room, having already paid for his upcoming accommodation, and began to tinker on.

Around 3 or 4 in the morning, he left the room and stretched his limbs.

Outside the camp, he found a bare rock and threw a punch at it. Accompanied by a slight sound, the rock split and shattered into several pieces.

Talent Sequence 23: Fighter

He Ao glanced at his physical attributes. Through the application of Martial Arts pathways, he had significantly absorbed the power from the Talent Sequence. The path of the "Madman" seemed to be filled with strength-based Transcendent abilities.

As a Furious Man, his physical attributes had already reached 41. Now, as an E-class Fighter, they had climbed to 129, while most D-class Talent Sequences with other abilities had physical attributes around only 140 to 145.

He Ao mounted his motorcycle and left the camp once again.

This time, he didn’t return until around 11 a.m., just as the market was about to begin.

Once again, he dragged back a huge pile of exotic beast carcasses, much more than the previous two times, stacking up like a small mountain which his motorcycle could barely pull.

After returning to the camp, He Ao didn’t go back to his rented room. Instead, he directly hauled the exotic beast carcasses toward the market.

Riding motorcycles inside the camp was forbidden, so He Ao stopped his ride, pulled the exotic beast carcasses, and walked toward the market.

Thus, the Wilderness Wanderers at the camp saw such a scene.

A young man, still with a hint of youthful tenderness in his face and locks, wearing a large windbreaker stained with fresh blood, was dragging a pile of exotic beasts, a mound nearly a dozen times his own size, scraping over the icy ground toward the market.

For the vast majority of Wilderness Wanderers, exotic beasts were powerful and terrifying beings. Each hunt was uncertain, as no one knew if they might end up forever lost in the wilderness.

To them, such powerful and terrifying creatures appeared as easily snuffed chickens when tied up and piled into a small mountain by He Ao, passing through the camp.

Undoubtedly, He Ao became the focal point of everyone’s attention.

The girls in the wilderness were passionate and unrestrained. Such a wild and powerful man was exactly the type they adored the most.

On his less than one-kilometer journey, He Ao was stopped by five groups of girls and one group of hefty men trying to chat him up.

In response, he simply grabbed the clothes of those blocking the way, lifted them aside, and instructed them not to obstruct his path.

However, his rough approach seemed to trigger some strange attribute, attracting even more people to rush towards him.

Fortunately, the route to the market was not too far, and He Ao entered it before attracting more nuisances.

About an hour later, he left the market again, riding his motorcycle away from the camp.

He had already inquired about the habitat of the Diamond Force Monkey the previous day, but even after spending the whole morning, he hadn’t located it. Therefore, he returned first to trade the exotic beasts he had hunted for some trap-setting items and some money, and then ventured back into the snowfields.

The young Wilderness Hunter watched He Ao’s motorcycle disappear into the snowfields and sighed softly, "Since he left yesterday morning, it seems he hasn’t rested at all. Even Transcendents need to rest, right?"

"His heart harbors a tumultuous volcano that carries him forward, sparing nothing in the pursuit of strength."

Wick approached the young Wilderness Wanderer and remarked, "The first time I saw him, I knew he was like an eagle that belongs to the skies. He’s only temporarily hidden his wings due to some circumstances, falling among us."

"What about me, then?" the young Wilderness Wanderer asked Wick. "Lord Wick, what am I?"

Wick glanced at him and paused, "A titmouse, perhaps."

The young Wilderness Wanderer was taken aback, "Just a titmouse?"

He felt somewhat defiant. He was an E-class Transcendent, the finest hunter among the younger generation in the camp, and had received countless praises since childhood.

Seeing that He Ao was about his age, he thought Wick’s comparison of him as a titmouse and He Ao as an eagle diminshed his own stature and elevated another’s.

If the best in the camp was a titmouse, then were the others even less, a bunch of worthless fish and shrimp?

He took a breath and retorted, "Or maybe I can also have that kind of volcano you mentioned, evolve a bit, transform into a swan or something?"

"Sure," Wick yawned, "If something happened to your parents who are still around, you’d have a volcano on your hands."

"Ah?"

The young Wilderness Wanderer was stunned.

"What do you think drives a person to tirelessly strive to become stronger at all costs? Is it ideals? Is it wealth?"

Wick waved his hand dismissively and walked deeper into the camp, "It’s hate! Hate is the flame; the more intense it burns, the stronger people become, and the closer they are to madness. Kid, being a happy finch is not too bad either."

The young Wilderness Wanderer watched Wick’s retreating figure and fell into deep thought.

As for Wick, who had duped a young man, he touched the chip in his pocket,

It looked like he couldn’t come here anymore; his body couldn’t take it anymore.

Games for adults shouldn’t be played too often.

Tomorrow, yeah, he wouldn’t come tomorrow.

His pace quickened significantly.

As night fell, He Ao dragged the carcass of a Diamond Force Monkey back to the camp.

When the stars shined brightly and the moon was high, he emerged from his hut.

Talent Sequence 50: Martial Artist.

His physical fitness had improved to 278.

Next, it was time to prepare the Secret Medicine for the "warrior" advancement.

He found Wick again, who looked even more exhausted and listless than the last time he saw him, with indistinct eyes and a wilted spirit.

For that, He Ao could only pat his shoulder and gave him some of the Red Moon Fruits he had picked in the wilderness that day.

The Red Moon Fruit was a small fruit the size of a finger, which could speed up healing and replenish Qi in injured people.

For those who weren’t injured... it could replenish their Yang energy.

Wick wanted to refuse, but his hand, betraying his intentions, grabbed the Red Moon Fruits and stuffed them into his pocket.

Since he had accepted a gift, Wick was unusually cooperative during the subsequent conversation.

He Ao first bought a Mithril Test Tube from Wick, then inquired about the blacksmiths in the camp.

Wilderness Wanderers often needed to use melee weapons, and without assembly line factories in the wilderness, many weapons had to be repaired or forged on their own.

This led some Wanderer Camps to retain the blacksmith profession.

However, such camps were rare because the Nolanka Group developed a miniaturized casting machine that could be directly controlled by a computer for unmanned forging. Even a child could operate it easily, with short training times, and it was far more efficient in handling standard ironware than blacksmiths.

Many large Wanderer Camps or clans would purchase these casting machines, leading to the gradual loss of the blacksmith profession.

He Ao’s short sword was not a typical standard-issue iron weapon and could only possibly be repaired by a skilled old blacksmith.

However, the area around Rock City was relatively poor and far from the southern Industrial District. With high transportation costs, Wick’s camp couldn’t afford such a casting machine and still retained traditional blacksmithing, which was quite skilled.

He Ao planned to entrust his broken sword to that blacksmith to be transformed into a set of dual short swords.

Then he continued discussing exotic beasts in the area with Wick.

"What? You’re looking for a Blood Spider?"

Wick suddenly stood up with a start.
