The officer’s gaze lingered on He Ao, as a sly smile curled his lips. He stepped forward abruptly—and vanished.

In the next second, the sharp spear tip surged forward, aimed directly at He Ao’s heart.

He Ao raised the Blood Blade, deflecting the spear. He then reversed his grip and swung the blade towards the officer’s chest with force.

The blade moved so fast that it exceeded the speed of the officer’s previous strike.

In a blink of an eye, the edge of the blade was pressed against the officer’s chest.

An overwhelming and twisted killing intent instantaneously spread out.

He paused momentarily, his tone shifting, his eyes narrowing slightly. "If you don’t bring forth more capabilities, you’ll die here,"

Raising his spear, his gaze swept across the fiery surroundings, as he laughed, "Don’t worry, your mecha pilot, everyone you brought with you—I’ll make sure they follow you down."
