Life Game In Other World

Chapter 1096: Chapter 1096: Civilization Possession (Seeking Monthly Pass)

These scenes do not follow any sequential order; He Ao arranged them approximately in chronological order based on Ruoke En’s experiences.

The first segment seems to detail the events following Ruoke En’s acquisition of the phonograph and his return to the Main World.

He obtained a vast amount of Mysticism Knowledge from the phonograph, which included a ritual to strengthen the ’Fate Connection’.

Armed with this knowledge, Ruoke En conceived the idea of using himself as ’bait’ to lure the remnants of a Higher Being from the relics.

Then, guided by the ravings, he once again entered the relics, found an intact Floating War Chariot, and commenced the ritual.

Rather than attracting the living, he fished out a blood-colored, olive-shaped ’Cocoon’ from the depths of space.

He Ao felt the distinct power of the three archangels emanating from that Cocoon.

It seems that this ’Cocoon’ is the true form of the City of Rong Guang.

And after the appearance of this Cocoon, the scene disappeared.

The second scene shows Ruoke En promoting the Rong Guang Society in the Main World and cultivating followers.

In the third scene, Ruoke En returned to the relics once more.

He appears to have found a special ritual, and this time, he ’sacrificed’ ’himself’ to the ’Cocoon’.

He became the ’Soul’ of the Cocoon and its controller.

Afterward, he leveraged the connection with his followers in the Main World to pull a portion of them into the ’Cocoon’, attempting to construct the City of Rong Guang.

But soon, these people started to mutate and twist due to the pollution inside the Cocoon.

His plan was declared a failure.

In the fourth scene, Ruoke En is ’chatting’ with someone.

This person is none other than the ’Vice-President’, Tiger Cane.

Ruoke En seems to have found a way to avoid pollution; he constructed a giant Obelisk and gathered all the pollution into it, then exiled the Obelisk out into the void.

The Obelisk was connected to the City of Rong Guang through a special ritual, continuously pulling the pollution that controlled the City of Rong Guang, ensuring the Obelisk’s absolute control over the City.

To maintain the stability of this ’city’ after losing its core, the Obelisk,

he created three crystals—red, yellow, and blue—to substitute for some of the Obelisk’s functions.

Together, the three crystals could perform a ritual that would summon the Obelisk back from outside time and space.

Among them, the red crystal held the greatest power and could not maintain a stable state, nor could it leave the City of Rong Guang.

Ruoke En then asked Tiger Cane to find a child in the Main World.

By threatening the child’s life, Ruoke En used the knowledge from the phonograph to crush her body and inscribe dense arrays, then reconstituted the body using these arrays to form an artificially created living sealed item with a Soul.

Ruoke En then tossed the child into the newly established lower levels.

The Variants could not harm the red crystal, and amid the chaos of the lower levels, the child was inconspicuous.

This ’living sealed item’ would gradually weaken the ferocity of the red crystal, allowing it to briefly trend towards stability.

Is this the origin of the ’seal’ within Riley?

"Young man, you are perceptive and intelligent,"

Listening to He Ao’s inquiry, Ruoke En said calmly, "I have heard your story; you are a very talented individual."

He slightly raised his hand, and all the books around him trembled violently, "This is also why I am willing to stand here and answer your questions, but my patience is limited, and I think you understand what I mean."

He looked at He Ao calmly, "Tiger Cane was killed by your companions; I need a new spokesperson, one who will rule the new world."

Is your only way of convincing people to join to offer pie in the sky without any tangible benefits?

"Should I also get rid of ’Hao Yi’ outside,"

He Ao said with a smile, looking at Ruoke En, "to make a gesture of allegiance to you?"

"Killing a dying man is meaningless,"

Ruoke En said calmly, "but if you are willing to offer your loyalty to the Divine Being to please them, that is of course good."

"I have a question,"

He Ao snorted with a scoff, "What exactly do you envision, with the destruction of the old world and the establishment of a new world?"

"The Divine Being’s Advent, sweeping away everything,"

Ruoke En said calmly, "return to ignorance, and restore civilization."

He paused, then explained, "The great ’Destroyer K’ has given me guidance. He will provide me with all of the Federation’s civilization data, so I can rebuild civilization from the ruins."

As if reanimating a corpse.

He Ao probably understood this guy’s intent.

He wants to destroy the entire Main World’s civilization, sever the continuity of knowledge, and then pass down the knowledge of the Original Federation, making all the survivors and newborns believe they are from the Original Federation.

What is this, a civilization’s Possession?

To complete this plan, a great number of people would have to be killed.

The fewer the people, the easier and more thorough the ideological reconstruction.

That’s why he is propagating the ’livestock’ theory, marking most people as ’livestock’ in advance.

Then he can raise the Slaughter Knife against these ’livestock’, sparing only a small portion who are easy to brainwash and manipulate.

And those who are killed can become Sacrifices to the Higher Being behind him, in exchange for strength and their ’support’.

He Ao’s gaze darkened as he watched Ruoke En, "Do you think such a ’revived’ ’Federation’ is still truly the Federation?"

The people of the Original Federation could produce sealed items with Angel Tier Extraordinary Items for scientists to study.

Regicide Angels with overwhelming killing intent would be treated as criminals and imprisoned.

This is a civilization where humanity is the focus.

Is it still the same old one when a civilization ’resurrected’ under the control of an Evil God?

Ruoke En was caught off guard by He Ao’s question, and after a brief silence, he said calmly and indifferently, "Civilization is always evolving."

"An evolution toward slaughter and madness? What about the lives lost in this turmoil?"

He Ao watched him with a sneer, "You want to revive the Original Federation in your heart, so you want countless innocents in the real world to be buried with it?"

"Only after destruction can there be a rebirth."

Ruoke En gazed at He Ao, his hands slightly closing together.

"Then such a ’rebirth’,"

He Ao smiled as he looked at him, the Shadowless Sword falling into his hand, tightly gripped, "are you willing to give it a try?"

"It seems you are unwilling to join me in building a new world."

Ruoke En’s expression turned completely cold.

The trembling books around them suddenly fell silent, and the whole world seemed to fall into some kind of eerie and dangerous quiet.

"If you yourself do not wish to die, why do you demand others to die for your goals?"

He Ao held the Shadowless Sword across his chest and revealed a smile.

The next second, a blood-red radiance descended from Heaven upon his head.

Boom—

The figure of He Ao appeared to the front side like a flash, as the dangerously intense radiance slashed past his shoulder and struck the smooth ground.

Everything touched by the blood-red light withered and decayed into nothingness without a sound.

The pitch-black ground opened up with a large hole.

Immediately following, the smooth ground began to wriggle, akin to a healing flesh wound, as the hole filled up and healed naturally.

Ruoke En, standing at the front, turned his head to glance at He Ao, who had changed positions, a flash of crimson light passing through his gaze.

In that instant, He Ao felt as if his soul was ’clutched’ by some Higher Being, thwarting his lifeforce and dragging his body into decay.

The next second, nested orange-gray rings appeared before He Ao’s eyes.

An illusory eyeball set within an inverted triangle sketched itself out of the void.

Deconstruction!

The eyeball took one look at He Ao, and the red radiance that enveloped his soul instantly vanished.

Following that, the eyeball raised its gaze, looking towards Ruoke En who wasn’t far away.

Ruoke En, facing the eyeball emerging from the void, frowned slightly, and the ground in front of him arched up, forming a towering wall blocking the eyeball’s view.

At the same time, strands of blood-colored radiance descended from the sky, like dense raindrops of light pouring down torrentially.

The bookshelves around swelled up, a fine and rich mist extending from between the books.

Those volumes filled with Mysticism Knowledge rapidly became dim and indiscernible.

The spreading mist covered over the spot where He Ao stood.

He Ao looked up at the brilliance descending from the sky and raised his palm.

A tri-color radiance of red, yellow, and blue that had been coiling around his wrist burst forth, the blue light transforming into a towering Mechanical Giant.

This giant lifted its hands towards the sky, its palms suddenly expanding, like a mechanical umbrella shielding He Ao’s head, blocking the downpour of brilliant light.

And as the mechanical hand reached out, the doll maid standing by He Ao’s side floated into the air.

Those amber eyes suddenly collapsed, turning into fragments of space.

Following that, a dazzling light imbued with Angel Designation descended from the sky.

Like wiping away dust, this radiance effortlessly erased the pitch-black wall in front of Ruoke En.

Its speed was so swift that before Ruoke En could react, his body was pierced through by the light in an instant.

From below his chest to above his thighs was instantaneously deleted by the light, revealing the writhing flesh within.

But Ruoke En’s body did not fall apart; only his shoulders, head, and two arms remained, floating in the air as though there were some invisible limbs still connecting his upper body with his lower body, which now comprised only two legs.

He opened his hands, as if embracing something, looking at He Ao with a slight smile at the corner of his mouth.

He opened his mouth slightly, making a ’bang’ shape with his lips towards He Ao.

And the moment this gesture was formed, his remaining body burst like an overinflated balloon, exploding into a haze of blood fog.

Boom—

He Ao’s body shook, and blood exploded from his skin.

As if an invisible explosion had occurred inside his body, threatening to tear his body apart into a blood mist just the same.

The eyeball hovering behind his mind abruptly looked down, gazing intently at He Ao’s body.

Deconstruction!

An invisible red radiance emerged from He Ao’s body and then disappeared.

"Cough—"

He Ao coughed up a mouthful of blood, and raised his head, looking towards the now-collapsed wall and the shattered blood mist behind it.

Some sort of ’self-destruction’ followed by a shared ’damage’ spell?

And there was a mix of Regicide power within?

Using the power of the Regicide as the foundation to form an offensive spell?

He Ao’s gaze swept through the surrounding misty bookshelves.

It seems there’s indeed a benefit to reading more books.

Knowledge is power.

The gaze of the Eye of Truth swept over the surroundings, noting the marks left behind by the recently activated spell.

The obscure grey fog was also spreading over now.

The drifting fog, upon contact with the skin of He Ao and the maid automaton, was like tiny insects trying to burrow into their bodies.

Accompanying it were fierce, twisted ravings.

Intense stinging sensations accompanied the advent of the grey fog, covering He Ao’s skin, while an invisible force started to absorb He Ao’s ’Life’ through the stinging.

Behind the hazy fog, the walls of the towering obelisk were writhing, seemingly slowly closing in.

A richer blood-red radiance descended from the sky.

This twisted ’library’ was like a stomach digesting food, attempting to ’digest’ all the ’uninvited guests’ right here.

The grey murky fog, coming into contact with the Mechanical Giant behind He Ao, ate away at it like corrosive acid poured onto foam, or like thousands of tiny insects tearing at their prey.

The structure of the Mechanical Giant began to break down and dent at a rate visible to the naked eye.

’Ruoke En’ was truly prepared to ’digest’ He Ao here.

He Ao lifted his head to gaze at the blood-red brilliance above.

Enveloped by the grey fog, the maid automaton with her pitted crystalline skin began to float, her dazzling radiance piercing into the grey fog in an instant.

The fog seemed to solidify into something tangible, with even the light bestowed with the Angel Designation thinning as it passed through, eventually reducing to the size of a thumb.

Eventually, the light touched the writhing walls, leaving behind only a shallow wound.

Then instantly, the wound writhed and healed, shrinking further inward.

The next second, an even stronger brilliance surged from the front of the maid automaton, piercing the grey fog and entering the writhing walls.

This time, more remnants of the light were left behind, the tear in the wall was bigger, and it closed up slightly slower than before.

It can be pierced through.

He Ao stepped forward, charging towards the writhing wall with the maid automaton and the Mechanical Giant.

The surrounding grey fog quickly thickened, like boiling stomach acid, rushing towards He Ao from all directions.

But He Ao’s speed surpassed their response time, and in just an instant, he appeared at the edge of the writhing wall, as if he had teleported.

A bit of thick fog diffused from the wall, lunging at He Ao.

He Ao raised his hand, the coiling red radiance around his wrist instantly detached, forming a colossal crimson beam that seemingly pierced through heaven and earth.

A giant Cyclops emerged from the crimson beam, gazing at the dark walls, with dazzling red light gathering swiftly in its eye.

The surging fog around, along with the dense blood-red light descending from the sky, instantly changed their attack target, rushing towards the Cyclops without any hesitation.

However, at this moment, it was already too late.

The surging, seemingly all-destroying red radiance burst forth from the Cyclops’s eye, like a sharp scalpel, slicing open the writhing wall, creating a wide opening.

Blood-colored sunlight shone through the opening, illuminating this dark area.

He Ao raised his hand, and both the Cyclops and the Mechanical Giant transformed back into red and blue beams of light, falling into his hands.

The blood-red light from the sky missed its target and immediately switched its aim towards him.

But at this moment, He Ao had already stepped forward, passing through the rapidly closing gap alongside the maid automaton.

The blood-red light and the city still sprinkled with some sparks of fire entered his field of view once more.

He lifted his head, looking towards the sky.

In that blood-red sky that covered everything, the phantoms of two massive celestial bodies, one large and one small, filled almost the entire sky.
