"You’ll get used to it. Military training is tiring at first," Gu Joy said with a light smile.

They finally made it through the day.

In the evening, when returning to the dorm, Zhou Yanlin called and asked her to dinner.

Gu Joy felt a bit troubled as she had already made plans with Yuan Wen.

Zhou Yanlin didn’t mind and invited them both.

He also called a roommate to join.

Back at the dorm, she discussed it with Yuan Wen, who agreed immediately and was even quite excited.

Yuan Wen felt she wasn’t attractive to begin with, and now she looked even worse.

Standing next to Gu Joy, it was like being a swan next to an ugly duckling.

"You’ll recover soon. I naturally don’t get sunburned much; it’s just my constitution," Gu Joy said without a hint of boasting, just stating the facts.

"Well, I can only think that way," Yuan Wen replied, linking arms with Gu Joy as they walked toward the school gate.

Yuan Wen looked up ahead and suddenly, excitedly shook Gu Joy’s hand, "Joy, look, at two o’clock ahead, there’s a hottie. Oh my God, he really is a hottie!"

Gu Joy frowned upon hearing this, wondering what "hottie" there could be.

Following Yuan Wen’s direction, she looked afar to see a man in jeans and a white shirt standing there, hand in pocket, and staring ahead, with a slightly sturdier man beside him who was shorter.

Gu Joy paused, wasn’t that Zhou Yanlin?
