It’s said the fights lasted for weeks before an injured and drenched in blood army returned. Though the number of mages who died in the forest was unknown, the losses were severe.

Fortunately, however, all the Tier-3, most of Tier-2 and more than half of Tier-1 magic beasts were slaughtered which put an end to the terror. As a result, the Crimson Valley Forest was taken out of the list of danger zones and villages and towns around the forest flourished.

At present, many Mages, Knights and even groups of Mortals regularly ventured into the forest to hunt the beasts or to find some magic herbs, medicines and fruits.

Because of this, many small markets had popped up near the periphery, selling necessary items for hunting and survival in the forest and buying the harvests if any adventurer was willing to sell.

Silas Greenthunder, 23 years old, had recently advanced to the late 1-Star realm and come from one of the towns under Neera city’s jurisdiction to train in the forest and hopefully hunt a few Tier-1 beast who he could sell and earn some money to buy more resources to continue his cultivation.
