Chapter 743: Chapter 347: Confrontation_2

The knight tournament was canceled, and now everyone is somewhat idle. Having stayed in Oran for so long, everyone is eager to return home, but most of the nobles have not yet been given permission to leave the Royal City.

“Where is the princess?” Leon asked.

Lokhak looked over and raised his chin meaningfully: “The little princess and Olivia are talking in your room…”

“In my room?” Leon was slightly surprised and immediately tiptoed into the corridor, arriving at the door.

He bent down and pressed his ear against the door.

“…If you’re back, just come in already.”

Olivia’s voice came from inside the room.

Leon quickly straightened his back, silently chiding himself for being foolish, as his footsteps could never escape the perception of the girl’s biological radar-like senses.

Olivia in the room opened the door.

Leon awkwardly glanced at Ines, who was smiling and sitting in the room.

He couldn’t help but ask Olivia, “Am I… coming at a bad time?”

Olivia looked amused at the guilty look of her lover who seemed like he had done something wrong.

“You’re right on time, Princess Ines and I were just talking about you.”

She pulled the nervous Leon into the room.

…The sound of the door closing made Lokhak in the hall perk up his ears.

The big guy got up and quickly moved to the balcony beside Kovis, nodding towards the room behind them.

“Look, look, what did I say? I knew their relationship wasn’t simple~! I knew from the start she…”

“Shhh!” Kovis motioned for silence.

Lokhak quickly covered his mouth.

Inside the room, pulled by Olivia to sit down, Leon sat like he was on pins and needles.

“What were you… just talking about?”

Leon had never put on such an obsequious smirk in his life.

“What else but Mr. Leon?” Ines lightly tapped her fan with a playful smile.

“Yes, we talked about many… many things…” Olivia glanced at Leon helplessly.

Leon felt a shiver run down his spine.

“Hehe… alright, I won’t tease you. Look, your Netti Card has been found.” Ines pointed her fan at a wooden box on the table.

Leon got up and opened it, seeing the lost and found Monster Card lying quietly inside.

He hadn’t seen Ines for several days and thought someone really picked it up and took it away.

“I really don’t know how to thank you.” Leon put the Netti Card back in his pocket, feeling deeply grateful.

“Acting so distant in front of Miss Olivia? Then there are many more things you’ll need to thank me for~” Ines raised an eyebrow, unfolded her velvet fan, and whispered, “The Moonfall Silver is already hidden in those gold coin boxes. It’s best to open them after you leave the city, so how do you plan to thank me?”

Leon was at a loss for words and tentatively said, “Then… can I buy it?”

“Do I look like I’m short of money? And can you even afford it?” Ines said teasingly, with a hint of mischievous laughter, tapping her lips with the fan head.

“I’ve helped you so much, isn’t that worth a kiss from Mr. Leon at least~?”

To say something like that in front of Olivia? Leon was shocked, unsure if the little girl was joking, instinctively casting a side glance at his little lioness.

“Don’t worry, I already asked Miss Olivia for permission before you came~” Ines laughed lightly.

“Is that… really true?” Leon found it hard to believe upon hearing this.

Seeing his surprise, Olivia sighed softly, stood up, and pushed him onto the bed, leaning in to give him a fierce kiss, biting his lips.

“…Lucky you, you greedy rascal.” Leaving a slightly jealous kiss on Leon’s lips, Olivia got up with a light hum and was about to leave the room.

But Leon stood up and stretched out his hand to pull her back.

“…?”

“I don’t want to keep things from you, otherwise isn’t this like a secret affair? I admit it’s excessive, but I hope the three of us can truly become family, with no secrets between us.” Leon looked at her seriously.

Ines raised her eyebrows at Leon’s boldness, covering her cheeks slightly with her fan.

Olivia was momentarily stunned and then furrowed her fine brows.

“Ouch~! Ouch~!”

Leon grimaced at the sudden pain coming from his waist.

“So you know you’re going too far… you flirtatious scoundrel.” Olivia complained with a flushed face.

Yet, she didn’t turn to leave.

Leon awkwardly endured the pain, took a deep breath, and then walked toward Ines.

“May I? Right here.”

“Hm~, since you’ve said it like that, it wouldn’t be fair to Miss Olivia if it was done in secret.” Ines blushed slightly, rising from the chair and approaching.

Leon gently placed his hands on the girl’s shoulders, feeling the Princess who faced seas of blood without flinching, slightly trembling in nervousness.

“Be gentle, this is my first time.”

Ines closed her eyes, quietly waiting.

Without hesitation, Leon cupped her cheeks and lowered his head to plant a deep kiss.

This was the girl’s first kiss, but it wasn’t the first time Leon had kissed her. Yet unlike the past, this time was not so shocking and unexpected…

Ines immersed herself in the sweetness as if no one else was around, while in happiness, Leon felt a pang of nostalgia…

The long kiss broke, staring at the slightly panting Ines in front of him, Leon then looked at Olivia, whose eyes betrayed a hint of jealousy.

How come it feels like… he’s committing a crime in front of his wife?

He thought for a moment, then pulled his wife over, opting to kiss her deeply again.

“—!?”

Since there was still jealousy, he might as well kiss Olivia until she’s desensitized!

The deep kiss relaxed Olivia’s tensed body.

But just after separating, Leon’s face was turned back by a pair of small hands.

Ines’s eyes sparkled.

“I want more too~…..~”

Returning to her senses, Olivia bit her lip as she watched the two kiss once more, refusing to be outdone, preparing to reclaim her husband’s lips shortly after.

“I also…..!”

“…My turn~”

“…Now it’s my turn~….”

At some point, Leon, overwhelmed by their affection, found himself pressed onto the bed by Olivia and Ines.

He was like prey caught in a hunt, yet also resembled an impersonal kissing machine.

Was this a dream? Or another dimension?

Could it be that he was still under that magic and hadn’t recovered?

His capacity to think seemed as if it was about to melt away completely.

After a long while, Ines lay satisfied on one side, catching her breath, suddenly patting her head, snapping out of the absurd kissing game.

Immersed in mischief, she nearly forgot the main issue.

Looking at the silly smirk on Leon’s face, she waited for Olivia to finally separate their lips before speaking: “Leon, I need to borrow your Griffin, can you take me to the North as soon as possible?”

Greedily embracing his two lovers, Leon agreed without a second thought.

“Of course.” Taking a deep breath, Leon calmed his rapid heartbeat: “Is there something urgent in the North?”

Ines propped herself up and answered seriously. “I have news from the palace; my brother is mobilizing troops and will soon lead an army to the North to hold the Warlock Society accountable.”

Leon couldn’t help but feel puzzled; was it not a given to hold the Northern Wizard accountable for colluding with the Athias assassin to assassinate Lydwen III?

Seeing his confusion, Ines explained: “The Society has harbored so many treasonous magicians, committing regicide is indeed inexcusable, but the internal structure of the Northern Society is not monolithic. The magicians’ relationships are loose, and it’s hard to say they are all guilty. I fear that my brother will indiscriminately deal with them harshly. I need to make sure Earl Nos is prepared to face my brother’s accusations. After all, over the years, the Earl of North County has maintained some level of autonomy, but with the Mage Empire in the mix, things are complicated… we must handle this delicately.”
