Chapter 195 - 195 107 Conspiracy_2
195: Chapter 107: Conspiracy_2 195: Chapter 107: Conspiracy_2 The other hand clenched the intruder’s hair tightly, pressing their head against the hard edge of the bed.
“Who are you!?
How dare you trespass into a guest’s room in the Lord’s castle?”
Olivia immediately demanded in a stern voice.
Upon hearing the young girl’s sharp shout, the intruder’s bewildered mind suddenly snapped back, drowning in waves of shock and suspicion.
The voice of the girl behind him undoubtedly let him know he had not mistakenly entered some Knight’s bedroom.
This was the room of that beautiful Maid from the day.
But how could this be possible!!
How could a young girl, seemingly not yet fully matured, remain conscious for so long after being drugged?!
She wasn’t one of those strong and robust Knights!?
But in the next moment, the intruder’s terrified questions were answered by the surprising strength of the girl behind him that he couldn’t free himself from.
No matter who this girl was, she was not the kind of frail Maid he had anticipated.
The figure, unwilling to sit and wait for death, shouted loudly and struggled desperately.
The only hand he could move, the left, pulled out a blood-stained Short Dagger from his waist and stabbed fiercely backward toward the girl.
But Olivia simply released her left hand, which had been restraining the opponent’s head, and effortlessly pinched the poorly executed counterattack.
Smelling the strong scent of blood on the Dagger Blade, the girl’s eyes narrowed.
This damned individual was not just a thief, he was a felon who had already harmed others!
The kind girl no longer held back her strength, and with irresistible force like snapping a brittle bamboo, she twisted the intruder’s left wrist holding the dagger in the opposite direction with a crack.
“!!!
Ah——!”
Under the immense pain of the broken wrist, the dagger fell from his hand, and the figure let out a heart-wrenching, miserable scream, tears running down his face.
In a rage, Olivia coldly eyed him in the darkness, took a step back, grabbed the arm hanging in a twisted position from the man, and forcefully flung it backward.
The petite girl, like throwing a large rag doll, swung the intruder round and smashed him into a small table in front of the bed.
With a series of loud crashes,
the fragile table, under the girl’s angry throw, violently fell apart, and the figure was almost knocked unconscious from the pain.
Seizing the weapon beside her pillow, the girl drew her Long Sword, and the Blade accurately pressed against the intruder’s neck in the dim light.
Feeling the deadly cold metallic touch on his skin, the man momentarily stopped his painful groans, fearing that the next moment the sharp blade would behead him.
“Felon, I don’t know whom you’ve harmed with that dagger, but if you don’t surrender, I’ll definitely sever your hands this very moment.”
Olivia warned coolly, her voice icy, no longer gentle as it was with friends.
Suddenly, thinking of Leon in the guest room above the tower, the girl felt panicked.
She quickly turned her head and shouted several times towards the door, trying to summon the castle guards at the entrance of the tower downstairs.
Then the girl stepped forward, grabbed the guy by the collar, and placed the blade across his throat.
“Tell me, scoundrel!
Where have you just been?
Whose blood is on the dagger!!”
The girl, both shocked and angry, bit her lip fiercely.
Instinctively gripping the sword handle tightly, her beautiful eyes never before had such an intense killing intent towards someone.
“~Cough cough cough cough…..” The figure, who had been roughly smashed and was spitting blood loosened around his teeth, choked and coughed severely.
Before he could answer, there came a rush of barefoot steps on the stone floor from outside the door.
“Olivia!
Olivia!” With an inexplicable heaviness in his mind that he couldn’t shake off, Leon shouted anxiously.
In his deep sleep, suddenly hearing the call of the girl, he ran downstairs barefoot, wielding his Long Sword.
Arriving at the slightly opened room door, Leon kicked it open with one foot, looking into it with a frantic heart.
Only when he saw Olivia’s figure with a sword by the light of a candlestick lit by someone at the corner of the door did Leon breathe a sigh of relief.
“Leon~” Seeing him unharmed, Olivia’s voice softened, the murderous intent in her eyes melting away like snow, and the girl felt relieved.
Casually dropping the limp intruder, the girl hurriedly ran barefoot to the door.
“Are you hurt?”
“Are you all right?”
The two asked each other almost simultaneously, paused, and then both felt relieved.
It seemed that both were safe and sound.
As Leon felt reassured, he turned his head to look at the subdued figure.
He stooped to pick up the lighting candlestick likely lit by the intruder from outside.
Holding the candlelight, wielding his Long Sword, he and Olivia approached the man once more.
A man in his twenties, dressed like a servant of the castle.
Even though he saw the man’s twisted and dislocated left wrist and his face covered in fresh blood, having been severely beaten by the girl,
Leon still felt a dual sense of anger, almost having the impulse to chop the man into mincemeat on the spot.
It wasn’t just because of this damned guy’s clearly trespassing behavior.
It was also due to his innate rage towards this bastard who dared to lay a finger on his beloved girl who had just confessed her feelings for him.
He wasn’t stupid, a man sneaking into a young girl’s room in the middle of the night most likely had some motive.
Just to steal something?
Leon vowed to make this guy pay enough…
though he didn’t express this raging malice in front of Olivia.
But thinking about it, while he felt a sense of relief, he couldn’t help but feel displaced anger towards the Thorns Flower family.
