Chapter 965 - 965 953 Epics Body of Myriad Spirits

Chapter 965: Chapter 953: Epics! Body of Myriad Spirits! Chapter 965: Chapter 953: Epics! Body of Myriad Spirits! When the Earth Star World reflected in Muria’s eyes, everything changed, his view of the Earth Star World began to decompose, or rather, he was regarding the Earth Star World from a more detached perspective.

Thus, the Earth Star World, which he was exceptionally familiar with, now displayed a completely different demeanor in his sight, a world built entirely of thousands upon thousands of Laws.

This was the true gift the Earth Star World had given to Muria in return for his help, a gift whose significance far surpassed that of source power. The moment he extracted the source power from the world, all the Laws that composed this world unfolded before his eyes.

Muria watched with a thirst the world composed of Laws in his eyes, this was the true reason why an Epic could stand shoulder to shoulder with, and even surpass, a Deity.

A Deity is a transcendent being who can grasp the World Laws, who in the world can channel the sea of source power and wield the secondary powers derived from source power, also known as Divine Power.

For an Epic to confront and suppress a Deity head-on, one must master the same World Laws. Deities merge themselves into the world, earning the privilege to closely observe the World Laws.

However, an Epic, by channeling and extracting source power from the world, can observe the Laws of the entire world, and in that instant, the number of Laws an Epic comes into contact with is unimaginable to a Deity.

Because Deities ascend to godhood through faith, the Laws they can see within the world are determined by their divine offices, so each Deity is limited to the Laws they witness in the world.

Although an Epic sees many World Laws through source power, the time for such observation is limited; what they can glean depends entirely on themselves.

In just a few breaths’ time, the Earth Star World constructed by Laws in Muria’s eyes returned to its original form in his sight, stripped of all mystery, yet somewhat different.

Since Muria had observed the Laws constructing the entire world, he could now faintly discern some of the threads of the Earth Star Laws.

Muria opened his palm, and the source power separated from the Earth Star World hovered unblemished in his hand, seemingly unchanged.

But Muria knew that he could no longer see the Earth Star World’s Laws through this drop of source power because a drop of source power provides only one opportunity to observe the World Laws.

This is why an Epic can’t rely on any external force but must rely on oneself to achieve greatness. Possessing and controlling source power is just one of the conditions for becoming an Epic.

What truly distinguishes an Epic from a Legend is whether they have seen through source power the evolution and operation of all Laws of a world. This is something one can witness only after personally saving or destroying a world.

Receiving source power gifted by other Epics is not enough to become one, and while a creature may enhance their physical limits with bestowed source power, becoming a super Monster that can match or even crush Deities in strength, such a being would easily be manipulated and suppressed by Epics and Deities on the level of Laws.

An Epic, after reaching a certain realm, possesses the power to create an entire world; their destructive power is but a single facet of their strength.

Creation truly reflects the magnitude of power one possesses because creation is always more difficult than destruction.

Muria took a deep breath, as the source power hovering above his palm slowly merged into his hand, and Muria’s body, which had reached its peak and had not advanced further in a hundred years, began to transform.

A transformation started from the deepest and most fundamental part of his body. There were no spectacular phenomena, and even Muria’s aura did not continue to climb, seemingly unchanged. Yet the Thunder and Flames lingering around his body became slightly more agile.

“Epic!”

Muria stretched out a palm, and a Golden Thunder that was thick as a Python appeared on his hand, moving about with agility, but gradually, the violently powerful Golden Thunder transformed into a lifelike Golden Python, vivid and detailed.

This Golden Python coiled around Muria’s palm, and when it raised its head to meet the gaze of Muria looking down, fear unexpectedly showed in the eyes of the Golden Python, human-like. Soon after, it lowered its head, showing submission and a desire for closeness to Muria, full of spirit.

“Still lacking a touch of readiness!” Muria frowned upon seeing this spirited Python, and then the Python exploded into a burst, turning into fine sparks.

But these shattered sparks did not fade away; instead, they transformed into numerous golden sparrows, creating a flock numbering in the hundreds that appeared in Muria’s hands, chirping away noisily.

These Golden Thunder Sparrows circled within Muria’s palm, showing chaotic and disorderly flight, like a flock of timorous sparrows truly trapped, flapping frantically in confined space.

But Muria, witnessing the scene he had just crafted, was still not satisfied. Thus, under his will, the sparrows collided with each other with a thunderous crash, merging back into a thick bolt of Thunder.

However, this bolt of Thunder gradually collapsed and compressed, transforming into a leaping, burning Flame—a Flame infused with the explosive nature of Thunder.

Muria raised his hand to cast the fire of Thunder from his grasp. Once the Flame detached from his palm, it seemed to possess instinctive thought, circling his form a few times as if trying to merge back into Muria’s body.

But Muria never accepted the Flame’s desire to return to its origin, instead observing its reaction.

When the Flame realized it couldn’t merge back despite its relentless efforts, it changed. It began to draw energy from the Void, swelling gradually, its form shifting from a spherical Flame to a humanoid shape, developing a head and limbs.

Once this Different Species of Thunder Element took on a humanoid form, it observed its surroundings with primitive consciousness. And when it noticed Muria, it instinctively moved toward him.

“The emblematic Body of Myriad Spirits of an Epic!” Muria looked at the elemental life he had birthed from his power, and a slight smile finally crossed his face. This elemental life was the symbol of his ascension to the Epic tier.

Epics, compared to Legends, possess terrifying vitality and spiritual awareness. Each Epic holds the power to create a race on their own.

And this iconic ability of an Epic is collectively known as the Body of Myriad Spirits. Just as its name suggests, an Epic can easily create a host of Minions with nothing more than their power, blood, or even a strand of hair.

Just like what Muria had done, he separated an insignificant portion of his power from his body and then created an elemental lifeform.

Such elemental lifeforms could be produced in great numbers should he wish, but such an act would be nothing more than a waste of time and power.

“Now I will become the prize in the eyes of all worlds, whether I live or die!”

Muria clenched his Fist, feeling the essential transformation his body had undergone.

The present Muria could ascend to godhood in any world should he desire it, as each world would open its arms wide, welcoming him to become part of itself.

And not only the living Epics, but the remnants left by deceased Epics too were highly coveted by worlds because the Body of Myriad Spirits possessed by an Epic could nurture myriad creatures, evolving mountains and land, rivers and lakes.

“My Body of Myriad Spirits is still too weak!” Muria reached out his hand to the Different Species of Thunder Element that had come to his side, emitting a sigh of realization.

The structure of an elemental life was not comparable to that of flesh-and-blood Creatures. He had just tried to use his power to simulate the form of a flesh-and-blood being,

But whether it was the initial Python or the later swarm of sparrows, they all required his power and spirit to sustain their existence, and without it, they could not maintain their own being.

This was awkward for Muria, but not unexpected, after all, he had only just crossed the threshold between Legend and Epic. The effect of his Body of Myriad Spirits being only of this level was normal.

“I could only barely create the lowest tier of elemental lifeform.” Looking at the lifeform in his hand, which was clueless, devoid of any intelligence, and possessing only the most basic instinct of life, Muria felt somewhat helpless as he dissolved it, then absorbed the remains.

The ability to evolve myriad spirits came as standard with Epic status, but fundamentally, no Epic would use this power to produce Minions on a large scale at the cost of depleting their strength and body. That would be a foolish act.

“I need more source power, insights into the Law, and to fortify my Body of Myriad Spirits!” Now an Epic First Stage Integration, Muria lifted his eyes, revealing a longing gaze.

The title of the First Tier of Epics, Integration, aptly describes what is most needed at this stage—continually obtaining source power from various worlds, comprehending their Laws, integrating them into oneself.

And once the integration of source power reaches a certain level, one can then enter the Second Tier of an Epic, the Pseudo-realm, at which stage they can begin to attempt creating worlds.

However, creating worlds solely on one’s own requires an adequate understanding of the myriad Laws that construct worlds, as well as a sufficient foundation to sustain creation’s demands. The poor do not have the luxury of creating worlds.

“It’s time to acquire my second source power!” Having completed his transformation, Muria glanced down at the world exuding a faint sense of frailty below, then turned and left without a second thought.
