Chapter 953 - 953 941 I Want to be 18 Forever

Chapter 953: Chapter 941 I Want to be 18 Forever! Chapter 953: Chapter 941 I Want to be 18 Forever! “Are you here to advocate for the Deity of Pandora?” Hearing Allen’s words, Councilor Haya, who was already advanced in years, laughed.

“No, indeed, I came here following the will of that great being, but I also wish to bring peace to my own world. All the wars we launched against the Pandora World were pointless, only increasing casualties. Not only did it bring pain to the native inhabitants of the Pandora World, but it also inflicted irreparable wounds upon countless families in our world!”

“Wait a moment, you disappeared in the Pandora World, how could you possibly know that we took military action against the Pandora World? Through which channel did you learn of this war? On Earth Star, news of the war was completely sealed from the public.”

Councilor Haya looked at Dr. Allen with a skeptical eye. Her sharp insight, honed from holding a high position for so long, allowed her to sense something off about Allen, or rather, about the Deity behind her.

“This is what that esteemed being told me, and he also participated in this war! It was he who led the Yikong People of the Pandora World to victory!”

“In other words, the esteemed being you are speaking of is this one?” Haya tapped lightly and then, the video that had once played in that top-secret meeting room, projected in front of her.

Thus, the footage that had rendered Earth Star Civilization’s rulers too shocked for words once again unfolded in front of Dr. Allen.

“This is the last footage transmitted by the flagship of the main battle fleet, Glory, just before it was shot down. Do you recognize the being who shot down the Glory Battleship?” Haya asked, pointing to this tremendously shocking scene.

“Of course I recognize him!” Dr. Allen’s face was full of shock as she knew Muria was exceptionally powerful, but she never imagined he would be powerful to this extent.

“Heh, so this is the Deity you believe in. Have you never seen him demonstrate such power?”

“If I had seen him display this kind of power, I’m afraid I would not have had the chance to stand here! This is the first time I’ve seen His Majesty display his might in destruction.”

“The Deity you saw before, what kind of power did he wield? What exactly impressed you, well-educated and of high talent, to worship him so devoutly?”

“I saw him resurrect a student who had already died!” Dr. Allen shared the reason she decided to become a follower of Muria, “Then I watched as he returned my body to its youngest state.”

“So, the Deity you speak of, he can not only grant eternal youth, he can also offer us immortality?” Councilor Haya caught the thrust of Allen’s words, her eyes revealing a trace of fervor.

“Yes!” Hesitating for a moment, Allen nodded. In her eyes, Muria was a being with the power to reverse life and death. Naturally, granting immortality to them, mere mortals, was not an issue.

“If I wish to receive the blessing of this Deity, what must I do?” Hearing the words of the female doctor, Councilor Haya asked, maintaining her composure.

“You…” Hearing this esteemed Councilor, who had just been speaking so passionately, ask such a question, Dr. Allen couldn’t help but smile. It proved that she hadn’t chosen the wrong person.

“Don’t look at me with that expression. I think you make a lot of sense! I haven’t betrayed humanity. I am considering humanity’s interests, while incidentally making myself younger.”

Councilor Haya said this calmly. She knew her body’s condition better than anyone, having exhausted all high-end technology to extend her life.

But current technology had its limits; she had at most ten more years to live. Afterward, all medicines and advanced technologies would become useless, and she was not willing to die just like that.

Through a lifetime of struggle, she had reached her current position where a casual command could affect the livelihoods of millions—such enormous power and influence, she had not enjoyed enough of it. She desired immortality.

However, this wish was, until today, no more than a distant dream—she had never hoped it could be realized, thinking she would be content with just a few more decades of life.

But now, someone stood before her, telling her that even immortality was attainable, not a dreamy illusion, but a goal within reach.

“Your Excellency Haya, yes, your thinking is correct. Everything you have done is for the future of humanity. War is meaningless, our world can completely complement and mutually benefit with Pandora World.”

“So you’re saying that as long as I prevent our civilization from waging war on the Pandora World, that Deity will grant me the gift of eternal life?” Councilor Haya did not listen to the doctor’s grandiose yet empty words but instead asked very directly.

“That is only the first step His Majesty King Ule has envisioned, and he also hopes our two world civilizations can engage in deeper exchanges!”

“King Ule, so that’s the name of the being you worship as a Deity?” Haya nodded thoughtfully and then, straightforwardly, made her demands, “I have the power to promote all that you’ve spoken of, even to bring it to fruition, but on the condition that you let me witness this Deity’s mighty power!”

“I understand!” Upon hearing the councilor’s pragmatic words, Allen did not show any sign of surprise. That was typical of top politicians; all the empty promises in the world were useless against them, for they were the best at this game. If you want them to put in the effort, you need to offer them tangible benefits they can truly appreciate.

“His Majesty King Wuer anticipated this, so he allowed me to bring you a bit of the power crystal, with which you can fully experience His Majesty’s might.”

With these words, the female doctor carefully took out a wooden case from her bosom and then handed a thumb-sized greenish crystal to the white-haired councilor opposite her.

“This thing? How do I use it?” Just seeing this greenish crystal made Haya’s body tremble slightly, as her instincts urged her to merge it with her being.

“Just place it casually on your brow or over your heart! It’s a very pure condensation of life force!” Allen, smiling, handed the crystal to the excited councilor before her.

“Is it that simple? Do I not need to perform some sort of preparatory ritual beforehand?” Haya took the crystal, preparing to place it on her brow.

Just then, a very inappropriate reminder sounded, “Madam, the crystal in your hand is composed of unknown energy. It is advised that you send it to the laboratory for testing before you use it!”

“No, no need for testing; I trust Allen!” Haya smiled at the female doctor and, without a second thought, placed the crystal on her brow.

Of course, she did not trust the doctor. At her age and position, she naturally cherished her life very much. The reason for her seemingly rash act was because she simply could not suppress her body’s instincts—they were intensely craving the crystal, every organ and cell longing for it.

And the moment the greenish crystal touched her skin, it melted like a liquid and instantly merged into her body.

“This feeling!” As soon as the crystal touched her brow, it felt as if a delicate stream of warmth flowed into her body, spreading from her brow to all her limbs.

She felt a warm current enveloping her, like a prisoner burdened with weight suddenly freed from shackles and chains, and at that moment, she felt much lighter all over.

“How is it? Councilor Haya?” Allen watched the councilor, whose appearance was undergoing dramatic changes, and witnessed what seemed like a miracle unfolding before her.

“Indescribable, utterly delightful!” Haya opened her eyes which had closed without her realizing, under the comfortable pleasure, and the moment she opened them, everything in front of her seemed much brighter, and her vision had improved.

“Congratulations, Madam, you now look as if you’ve turned back the clock by twenty years!” The intelligent housekeeper’s congratulatory voice echoed in the room.

“Is that so?” The councilor’s face broke into an unrestrained smile upon hearing her intelligent housekeeper’s praise because she genuinely felt her body’s condition had improved.

“Project my current appearance; I want to see for myself what I’ve turned into!”

Following her command, a three-dimensional hologram of her height appeared before her—an elderly woman in her sixties or seventies, with some wrinkles on her face but not many, and graying hair, looking in very good health.

“Is this how I look now?” Seeing the hologram of a healthy elder, Haya was struck with astonishment and could not help but reach out to touch the virtual projection’s hair.

“I actually have black hair growing on my head, it’s unbelievable! I’m 90 years old!” Elated at seeing herself looking around twenty years younger, Haya then turned her green-glowing eyes towards Allen.

“Those crystals you were talking about, you have more of them, right! After all, on your return to the world, you wouldn’t be just persuading one councilor like me. You’ll have to woo other old fogeys too. You must have extras; give them to me, I want a body as young as yours!”

“Your Excellency, that crystal was merely for you to sample King Wuer’s might. Until you have achieved tangible results, you are not entitled to bask in His Majesty King Wuer’s grace again!”
