King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 914 - 914 902
Chapter 914: 902 Chapter 914: 902 “Arrogant!” The current Emperor of the Orlando Empire snorted coldly upon hearing Muria’s words, “Such lunacy, even I wouldn’t dare to speak so recklessly! What qualifies you?”
“How can you lump me in with you? You have no right, but I do!” Muria responded confidently; he seemed to have nothing to fear now.
The strongest race in the world was his own, the slightly inferior Blazing Sky God Race was his wife’s race, and similarly, the Metallic Dragon Clan was also his own race!
With such connections, such backing, in the world of Erathia, Muria really didn’t know what else he should be concerned about, or rather, fear.
“…What are you? State your name!”
“Can’t you guess?” Muria, who had merely extended a palm and effortlessly crushed the Emperor’s bones, asked with a chuckle.
“…” The Emperor of the Orlando Empire fell briefly silent, what was there to guess? He had already figured it out the moment his palm was irresistibly crushed by Muria’s extended hand.
“I’m taking this guy with me!” The crushed palm began to heal rapidly, and then this seemingly undamaged hand pointed at Aeolus, who stood on the ground, already restrained.
“Still half asleep? If you want to dream, you can go back and do so!” Muria replied with a joke-like tone.
“I must take him away!”
“Heh!” Muria laughed coldly.
“He must explain himself to my sister!”
“What explanation? I’ve done it for him!” Muria still responded with an unyielding attitude, not backing down in the slightest.
“He touched my sister, he must take responsibility for this!” A somber voice came through, and the current Emperor of the Orlando Empire was also very assertive. Although Aeolus was passive in the process, the result made him the direct beneficiary.
“…” Muria was silent on the spot, not responding immediately. After a long pause, he continued, “What do you mean by ‘touched’?”
“A vigorous young man, a blooming young lady, what do you think this ‘touch’ implies?” the Emperor of Orlando retorted.
“…” Muria fell silent for the second time, “What’s your sister’s name?”
“Felicia Elmosnino!”
“…” Muria fell silent for the third time because he found the name incredibly familiar, familiar enough that with a slight recollection, he remembered the face of that blue-haired girl.
“Let me talk to him first!” After a long silence, Muria finally spoke, then with a speed that the Emperor could not react to, he grabbed Aeolus and quickly retreated.
“You…” The Emperor of the Orlando Empire felt a bit frustrated seeing Muria just leave like that but was helpless. He had only recently ascended the throne, he was the successor to the Empire, not its founder. Thus, although he, like Muria, was a legend, there was a fundamental difference in strength between them.
…
Atop the summit of the highest peak in a continuous mountain range, Aeolus looked at the man in front of him, seemingly his own height, with a complicated expression and slowly called out a name.
“Father!”
At this moment, Aeolus’s heart was a mixture of emotions. Having been a wanderer in the world for so many years, it was impossible not to have feelings about Muria sealing his bloodline.
Standing on the mountaintop, overlooking the vast cloud sea below, Muria’s expression was just as complex when he turned around after his son called him ‘Father’,
“Son, do you know how old that Dragon Princess is?”
“Uh!” Aeolus was startled by Muria’s question, then showed a look of embarrassment on his face, “I don’t know!”
“Let me tell you! I had already heard of her when I first ventured in the world! In other words, she’s around 600 years old!
She’s even older than me, your father! What peculiar tastes you have! Fancying such an old woman?”
Muria looked at his son with a somewhat troubled expression but became serious by the end,
“There are so many beautiful, lively, and adorable young girls at the Imperial Dragon Academy, yet you fancy none of them, and end up involved with a woman five times your age! I’m really puzzled. I remember teaching you all the right things when you were young, so why has your view on choosing a partner become so twisted as you grew up?”
“It’s not like that, Dad! What nonsense are you talking about?” Aeolus, whose thoughts were already complex while contemplating what to say to his father, fell into a bewildered state upon hearing Muria’s series of questions and suddenly realized his father seemed to have misunderstood something,
“My view on choosing a partner is fine! I don’t like older individuals that much older than me!”
“Then how could you…” Muria looked at his son with a skeptical gaze, trying to figure out if he was concealing his true preferences,
“Cough, that is, I’m not blaming you. There’s a saying among humans, ‘The same rice feeds a hundred different people.’ If that’s your choice in a partner, I have nothing to say about it. After all, we have long lifespans, and a few hundred years difference doesn’t really matter. As long as you’re happy, really. Whatever you do, Dad supports you!”
“Dad!” Aeolus finally couldn’t bear Muria’s nagging any longer and shouted, “Can you let me finish first?”
“You have the floor!” Muria nodded, signaling his son to continue.
“I was forced, I am the victim here, the Dragon Princess was the proactive one!” Aeolus yelled, feeling a somewhat inexplicable suffocation.
“Are you serious, you’re not joking with me?” Muria looked at his son, his gaze slightly complex.
“No joke!” Aeolus emphatically nodded.
“Disgraceful!” Muria slowly spat out two words and then, with a complicated expression, turned back to gaze at the vast Cloud Sea in front of him, “What a disgrace! How could I have such a disappointing son!”
“The gap in strength between her and me is too great; my resistance was utterly useless against her!” Aeolus saw his father sighing and quickly defended himself.
“Alas, disgraceful! My son was actually overpowered by someone! If this gets out, I’ll be the laughing stock!”
Muria ignored his son’s explanations and continued to lament. However, amid his lament, there was a hint of relief; fortunately, it was his son who was overpowered. If it had been his daughter, he would have probably needed to mobilize a legion!
“Tell me, how did you meet her? And how did you get entangled with her?” After sighing for a while, Muria inquired further.
Truth be told, Aeolus’s world could be considered quite expansive. Under these circumstances, for the two of them to come together, and even have such close contact, it could be said they were highly fated.
“I met her at the border of a duchy on the Ionian Subcontinent…”
Aeolus began to recount to Muria the process of how he got to know Princess Filisia of Dragons. It seemed that the root cause was actually Muria himself.
According to Aeolus, it was the Dragon Princess who took the initiative to get to know him. And after conducting some investigation into him, she started making her moves — basically picking on him and giving him no peace.
After pondering for a moment, Muria recalled that Princess Filisia’s mother was a master in astrology and divination. As her daughter, Princess Filisia might have inherited this talent. She probably sensed something off about Aeolus.
Otherwise, there was no reason to explain why a princess of the empire would take special interest in a Dragonkin who was not even legendary. Normally, their statuses would be parallel lines, never intersecting.
…
“Your hand was broken, and then you just slink back here?” In the palace built of Blue Diamonds, the former Emperor of the Orlando Empire roared in anger.
“He is the Emperor of the Senapus Empire, I’m not as powerful as him!” Said the young man who had just ascended the throne, his spirits dampened.
“If you can’t defeat him, you could have called for me!”
“What difference would that make?” The young man looked at his father. If his father was called in, what good would it do? It would only add another emperor to the list of those beaten. “They have the Titan Tribe behind them!”
“So what about the Titan Tribe? Are they so great?” The retired emperor asked furiously within his own palace.
“Well, the Titan Tribe is indeed great!” Sadly, the former emperor’s wife mercilessly shot him down, “If you insist on confronting the Titan Tribe head-on, you’ll definitely be the one to lose in the end!”
“You…” The middle-aged man’s face flushed with a rush of blood, with scales like those of a Blue Diamond appearing on his cheeks. After glaring at his wife for a few breaths, he angrily punched his throne,
“The Titan Tribe is something special! But even they have to be reasonable! Their kin messed with my daughter; shouldn’t they give me a proper explanation?”
“Explanation? If you’re not afraid to get beaten up, then go demand it from them!” The elegant and dignified matron stared at her husband, “Don’t you know what really happened in this affair?”
“But she is my daughter, and that is his son!”
“What do you want to do?”
“At the very least, they should give my daughter proper standing!”
“Then you go to them and argue it out. The Imperial Capital of the Senapus Empire drifts and its exact location is unknown, but you know where the Titan Islands are without me telling you. Go on, no one’s stopping you!”
“I’ll go if I have to; do you think I’m scared? Even Titans have to be reasonable!”
