King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 899 - 899 887 Congratulations Aeolus

Chapter 899: Chapter 887 Congratulations, Aeolus! Chapter 899: Chapter 887 Congratulations, Aeolus! “Aeolus, has your university admission letter arrived yet?”

“Not yet.” Aeolus, sitting in his seat, smiled gently as usual. Although he had not received the admission letter now, his grades assuredly meant a university would admit him.

“Me neither!” The dragon girl grinned. Based on the tradition when older students received their admission letters, the later the letters arrived, the stronger the university one would attend.

Of course, there were also those who would never receive an admission letter, as they had failed in the university entrance examinations and had to enter the workforce without any university to attend.

However, every high school graduate, no matter which career they wanted to pursue, could achieve a very high starting point, far above ordinary people, because they possessed very specialized knowledge.

“The admission letter from Vimier Elf University is here!” Just then, a shout came from outside the classroom, and upon hearing it, some students who were vainly pretending to be calm couldn’t hold back any longer and rushed out following the shout.

Naturally, those who dashed out first were the exceptionally handsome young men and women with appearance far beyond that of ordinary humans, each of whom had varying degrees of elf bloodline.

“Let’s go out and take a look too!” Aeolus invited with a smile, looking at the dragon girl Ann who seemed unconcerned in front of him. He was also very eager to find out which university would admit him.

“Our admission letters will probably take a while longer to arrive,” smiled the dragon girl Ann. Now, many of the universities established on the Senapus Subcontinent were funded by forces from outside the continent. The aim was to establish some connections with the strongest clan in the world, the dragons, and at the same time, to recruit talents for themselves.

Such universities often had certain special restrictions. For example, to become part of the recently mentioned Vimier Elf University, one not only needed excellent grades but also a certain level of elf bloodline. If the level of one’s elf bloodline was high enough, it could even reduce the admission score required.

For a dragon girl like Ann, she would surely be accepted by a university established by the Dragon Race. In that case, there was a high probability that she and Aeolus would enter the same university and become schoolmates once again, at least that was what the girl believed.

“Let’s go out and see! After this farewell, some people may never meet again!”

Aeolus took the lead and the dragon girl obediently followed. Although Aeolus hadn’t yet responded to her signs of pursuit, she believed in herself that if she persisted, she was bound to succeed.

Aeolus didn’t pay attention to what the dragon girl behind him was thinking. After stepping out of the classroom, he saw seven Pegasus Knights descending from the sky, a unique cavalry of the Elf Race.

“Only seven university admissions!” Seeing this, Aeolus sighed softly. No matter which university it was, admission wasn’t assured; the requirements for newcomers were extremely stringent, with an acceptance rate so low it was almost alarming.

Keep in mind; more than seven elf-blooded students had rushed out of just his class, not to mention the whole grade. In the end, only seven were admitted.

The rest had to leave in disappointment, ending their student careers and entering society, unconditionally accepting the arrangements from Xena Pus. After working for a while and repaying the living subsidies granted during their studies, they could freely choose their own jobs.

Afterwards, Aeolus didn’t return to the classroom but instead stood atop the academic building, overlooking the bustling scene. The messengers from various universities had arrived with the admission letters, in all shapes and oddities.

The more normal ones were like the elf university’s Pegasus Knights, or the Griffon Knights sent by universities dominated by the Human Race. There were also bizarre messengers like sinister Undead wrapped in deadly auras, ominous crows, and even small bats that descended from the sky…

Of course, these seemingly evil creatures had all been certified by the officials of Xena Pus and posed no harm to any lawful citizen.

If there were undead, demons, or monsters without certification, anyone could kill them without being charged with a crime. In other words, harming any of these certified monsters would result in punishment under the Legal Code.

“Roar!” Just then, two deep roars came from the distant sky. With excitement in her eyes, the dragon girl Ann watched as two Wyvern Knights with golden scales appeared on the horizon.

These were sub-dragons, very similar to the Giant Dragons, with four legs and two wings. However, unlike regular Giant Dragons, they had no horns on their heads and were much smaller in size. Even so, the Dragon Veins within them were very potent.

“Our admission letters have arrived!” The dragon girl Ann’s face turned red with excitement at the sight. The two golden Wyvern Knights represented the two admission letters from an academy especially established for Dragon Descendants.

One of them was undoubtedly hers, as her father had already given her a hint, and the other one must belong to Aeolus.

Because in this high school, apart from Aeolus, there was no more outstanding Dragon Descendant than she was.

Eddy knew that during the enforcement activities they were sent on by the school, Aeolus had frequently, for various reasons, been forcibly teleported into the surrounding mazes, where he faced numerous trials.

But, fortunately, Aeolus always made it out of the mazes and gained a great deal of benefits. It was in the course of these repeated trials that the Dragon Clan Bloodline within Aeolus continued to awaken.

While Dragon Girl Eddy was beginning to fantasize about her wonderful college life with Aeolus, the two wyvern knights actually split off in the sky above their high school. One knight flew in a different direction, while the other came towards Aeolus and Eddy.

“Eddy Yalon, congratulations, you have been accepted by Deplena Dragon Descendant University!” The knight seated on the back of the wyvern lifted a golden scroll with his Fighting Qi and presented it to Dragon Girl Eddy, a smile on his face.

“This…” Dragon Girl Eddy’s face stiffened slightly as she took the admission notice that had fallen in front of her, then turned to look at the other wyvern knight, “Did that knight fly in the wrong direction? Why did he go there?”

“Freshman, do you think we delivered the admission notice to the wrong person?” The knight seated on the wyvern asked sternly when he heard Dragon Girl Eddy’s comment.

“Could it really be a mistake?” Eddy watched as that wyvern knight handed his admission notice to another boy who seemed unremarkable and immediately showed a look of resentment and annoyance.

“That admission notice should clearly belong to Aeolus!”

“Aeolus?” The wyvern knight, who was about to reprimand this impertinent junior, paused slightly at hearing the name Aeolus and then shifted his gaze from his schoolmate to Aeolus standing beside her.

“Are you Aeolus, the big monster who has maintained straight A’s in every subject since the beginning of school?” The wyvern knight looked at Aeolus with a strange gleam in his eye, at the seemingly handsome but unremarkable young man beside him.

“Monster?” Aeolus, upon hearing the young man’s appraisal, was taken aback, “I’m just an ordinary high school student, not a monster!”

“Cut it out, there’s only one monster like you in the entire continent!” In response to Aeolus’s words, the wyvern knight took it as modesty.

“Only me?” Aeolus frowned at that statement, questioning how it could be true. He remembered that every time he took an exam, there would be at least seven or eight, if not twenty or thirty, students tied with him for first place.

“Of course it’s only you. In this entrance exam, you were the only one who scored full marks in every subject! If you’re not a monster, who is?”

“No one scored the same as me?” Aeolus felt an uncomfortable sense of unease. Wasn’t it normal for a dozen or so students to tie with him for first place?

“No, I am a student assistant working with the admissions office, and I’ve seen the scores of all the entrance exam candidates this year. You were the only one to achieve full marks!”

“So, if Aeolus ranked first in every subject, why haven’t you accepted him?” Dragon Girl Eddy couldn’t help but ask.

“The teachers at the school wanted to accept him, but our institution didn’t have the authority!”

“Is there another Dragon Descendant University better than ours?”

“Of course, there is!”

Crack, crack!

The sound of something shattering echoed. Above the high school Aeolus attended, four very orderly space rifts appeared. Accompanied by an all-encompassing Dragon Prestige and the rising and falling chorus of Dragon Chants, they resounded throughout the city.

Then, what seemed like an endless stream of golden light burst from the newly formed space passage, unfurling a golden avenue that stretched to Aeolus’s feet.

Aeolus raised his head, looking up along this path of golden light, and saw at the space passage above, a kindly-looking Dragon People elder standing there. The pervasive, yet not intimidating Dragon Prestige was emanating precisely from him.

“Aeolus, congratulations. From today on, you will become the ninety-ninth non-pureblood dragon student at the Sinapus Dragon Clan Academy!”
