Chapter 890 - 890 878 Sister Complex Aeolus
Chapter 890: Chapter 878 Sister Complex: Aeolus Chapter 890: Chapter 878 Sister Complex: Aeolus “This is the equipment I wore, and now that I no longer need it, I’ll give it all to you!” In the villa’s basement, Muria stood in front of a suit of armor that shimmered with radiant spirit light in gold and blue, speaking to his eldest son who followed behind him.
“All of this is for me?” Aeolus looked at the basement in front of him, which resembled a small armory, and the look of surprise on his face was utterly undisguised.
Beside the armor that could cover every corner of the body, there were the long spear, greatsword, and bow he had seen before. But besides those, there were other weapons too, like daggers for fighting in tight spaces, and hand crossbows with powerful lethality at short distances…
The key was that these weapons clearly matched the armor set, indicating that when he donned the armor, he could wield these weapons with greater strength than ordinary equipment could offer.
“All yours!” Muria nodded. This set of weapons and armor was originally ordered by him from the dwarves of Xena Pus as the starting gear for his son.
That day, he had merely worn it for fun. After all, the style of this equipment set was quite splendid. Wearing it, he could turn heads on the streets with an almost one hundred percent rate.
Of course, wearing this armor into battle also meant attracting hatred with a one hundred percent probability. As long as the enemy wasn’t foolish or blind, they would pour their firepower on the person sporting this flashy armor. Therefore, without substantial strength, taking this armor into battle was little different from suicide.
“If it’s all for me, what will you use?” Aeolus cautiously voiced his concerns, believing his father to be powerful, yet wondering if his father, having given him such a high-grade set, wouldn’t be able to get a second one.
“I have better things to use; I don’t need this junk!” Muria suppressed the urge to blurt out these words and instead placed his hand on his eldest son’s shoulder, his face filled with emotion,
“Son, your dad is old now, and all I want is to live a quiet life, to raise your sister to adulthood without fighting battles. So, I don’t need this equipment anymore. Instead of letting it gather dust in the basement, I’d rather pass it directly to you!”
“Dad!” Aeolus, gazing at his father’s youthful face that looked only a few years older than his own, called out deeply moved. He felt his father was giving up the chance to fight in future battles for his sake.
His father said he was old—such a statement was foolish to believe, after all. If he took his father for a walk down the street now and they acted like brothers, no one would find it too strange.
“Work hard and live up to my expectations!” Muria patted his son’s shoulder firmly. “I hope that one day, you can be my pride!”
“Yes!” Aeolus, deeply moved, nodded vigorously. “I will definitely live up to your expectations. You will be proud of me one day!”
After a sentimental father-son conversation, Aeolus officially received the beginner’s gear his father had prepared for him.
…
“This boy has grown up and has ambition now. He says he wants to be my pride!” Muria entered the room in his pajamas, climbed into bed, and hugged Michaela, sharing with her his conversation with Aeolus.
“He probably can’t even imagine how difficult it is to live up to what he says!” Michaela pushed Muria, who was lying on her chest. This guy was still the same even after two hundred years, never settling down.
“It’s inevitable. In his eyes, we’re just an ordinary couple!” Muria seized the opportunity to move up and took a deep breath.
“By the way, what level would Aeolus need to reach for you to be proud of him?”
“Hmm!” Muria, wrapping his arm around Michaela’s waist and ready for the next step, paused, then furrowed his brow in thought, “To be on par with Hades would be about right!”
“Lord Hades?”
“Yes!” Muria nodded emphatically.
“That’s quite a high bar to set!”
“If it were too low, I couldn’t be proud! If Aeolus can grow into a being like Lord Hades, I can boast to anyone, ‘My son is the Lord of the Underworld, master of the cycle of life and death of all beings!’ How imposing is that!”
“Muria, behave yourself!” Michaela grabbed Muria’s hand, and in just a few words, the two were fully exposed to each other.
“We’re husband and wife, why hold back?” Muria smiled and then embraced Michaela…
The following day, early morning
“Dad, Mom, I’m leaving now!” Aeolus, his mood uplifted, called out cheerfully to the radiant Muria and Michaela, as he was about to set off to board the floating ship.
“Yes, be careful on the road!” Muria, in a good mood, nodded and, unlike other days, even added a few more words.
“Stay safe.”
“Got it.” Aeolus nodded, then greeted his three younger sisters, “Gladys, Tiffany, Ketiya, you must listen to Dad and Mom at home and not cause any trouble.”
“Understood, Brother!” The three Loli sisters responded obediently when they heard Aeolus’s instructions.
“Clang!” Hearing his obedient sisters calling him brother one last time before leaving, Aeolus felt light as a feather; he closed the door of his room and, with a joyful heart and mind, he walked toward the floating ship harbor.
And at the very moment when Aeolus closed the door, the scene of the Muria family of five sitting around the dining table swiftly transformed, yet the original warm and harmonious atmosphere remained in place.
However, the living room they were in began to expand rapidly, its dome stretching upward, while the walls around them widened and grew taller and taller. The dining table expanded and became larger, with shimmering, radiant patterns emerging upon it.
Apart from where the family of five sat, which remained unchanged, everything else had transformed—what was once a small living room had turned into a grand and majestic palace that was also modestly luxurious.
The original furniture, some of it disappeared, while some became much more substantial—clearly crafted from materials of extreme preciousness.
The appearance of the family of five changed dramatically too; Muria became a figure in regal attire, wearing a crown and exuding the sovereign majesty that befits the ruler of the Senapus Subcontinent and the main authority in Xena Pus.
Michaela, from being a gentle-looking young woman, turned into a lofty and holy Blazing Sky God Descendant. The originally quiet three figures, who were busy with a bowl of porridge and looked no different from normal human girls, underwent a tremendous transformation in form.
Gladys’s form became extremely similar to Michaela’s, with ten wings emerging on her back and a holy and unapproachable aura appearing around her. However, her aura was somewhat different from Michaela’s, as golden thunder flickered in her eyes.
Tiffany grew dragon wings, dragon horns, and a dragon tail on her forehead and back, respectively. Ketiya’s form didn’t change much, just grew a bit larger, but the aura about her was completely different from before, carrying a unique dominance synonymous with Titan.
Muria’s three daughters were not naturally born like Aeolus; they were successfully born through the use of source power, which allowed intervention in their bodily forms.
However, Muria’s original expectation of giving birth to three daughters with different pure racial bloodlines, while still from the same source, was not realized. But the deviation wasn’t significant and even turned out better than his prediction.
His three daughters, unlike Aeolus’s three forms, each only have one form, corresponding to the three supreme bloodlines held by both Muria and Michaela.
Although these Loli sisters only possess one form, their powers are not singular; they not only have the powers their forms should naturally have, but also possess the strengths of the other two bloodlines they lack.
To put it simply, Gladys, who is almost identical to Michaela, can also unleash Dragon Flames and, like Titan, wield Golden Thunder and storms.
The other two loli sisters are the same. Though each has only one form, they also have the strengths of the other two bloodlines.
“Dad, if it weren’t for knowing Brother’s circumstances, I wouldn’t want these fakes at all!” When Aeolus left, and everything around them drastically changed, Tiffany, who had been playfully fiddling with a short sword with an enamored expression, immediately tossed it aside.
Really, if it weren’t for the sake of her older brother’s dignity, she wouldn’t want to touch something of such caliber at all. She, the Princess of Xena Pus, had actually received a gift set with counterfeit gems.
“The thing is a bit inferior, but this represents your brother’s sentiment for you! ” Seeing his daughters drop their disguises and reveal their true forms, Muria’s face took on a serious expression,
“This month, Aeolus used all of his spare money, beyond what was required for his basic material needs, to buy these gifts for you!
These presents symbolize the care your older brother has for you. Such a thing cannot be measured in monetary value; it’s priceless!”
Although Muria intended to raise his daughters in wealth, it didn’t mean he would spoil them and let them grow up wild. He was still determined to instill the correct values in them.
“You need to understand your brother! Tiffany, he doesn’t have money now, but what he has given you is the best he can afford!” Michaela also spoke up at this moment,
“Your brother only receives 200 gold coins for living expenses each month, and with the additional 100 gold coins reward, he has just 300 gold coins this month. Yet, he spent 250 gold coins to buy gifts for you all. Tell me, how much does your brother love you?”
