King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 853 - 853 841 The Worlds Welcome Ceremony
Chapter 853: Chapter 841: The World’s Welcome Ceremony Chapter 853: Chapter 841: The World’s Welcome Ceremony “You really dare to guess!” Upon hearing her mother’s answer, the Dragon mother Atreus rolled her eyes, “Even the youngest Abomination dragon is older than you, how could Muria possibly fancy such an old guy?”
“So stop making me guess and just tell me the answer!”
“A Blazing Sky God Descendant, a ten-winged Blazing Sky God Descendant.”
“What?” Yarista’s face showed an utterly undisguised look of astonishment and, after stiffening for a moment, her face then burst into an expression of immense joy.
“Hahaha, my good daughter, you really have some ability, now you’ve not only got a connection to the Titan Tribe but also to the Blazing Sky God Race!”
“Why are you so excited? Aren’t you a Dragon King now, isn’t this embarrassing?” The Golden Dragon Mother saw her own mother, with a face full of excitement, laughing uproariously, and showed a look of disgust. Was it necessary to get so worked up just because she had formed a connection with the Titan Tribe and the Blazing Sky God Race?
“You don’t understand, you haven’t been to the Void, you don’t know what it’s like to be completely isolated and in despair.” Seeing the disdainful look in her daughter’s eyes, Yarista wasn’t bothered at all.
“Now I’m also a relative of both the Titan Tribe and the Blazing Sky God Race, let’s see who dares to mess with me now! If anyone dares, I’ll call a bunch of Epic Titans and a bunch of Blazing Sky Gods to deal with them.”
“Aren’t you thinking too much!” The Golden Dragon Mother looked at her mother, who was lost in some pleasant fantasy, and then interrupted her with a cold face, thankful that they were in the empty Void. Otherwise, it would have been a serious embarrassment.
“Even if I have a connection with the Titan Tribe and the Blazing Sky God Race, what makes you think they would help you for no reason? Do you think they are free thugs?”
“Hehe, my clever daughter, do you know what I have brought back from the Void?” Yarista said with a chuckle, her expression filled with smugness,
“I was still wondering how to approach the Titan Tribe or the Blazing Sky God Race, but you have beautifully solved that problem for me. Now, I can talk to them as a relative of the Titan Tribe.”“What did you bring back from the Void?” Noticing her mother’s mysterious demeanor, the Golden Dragon Mother couldn’t help but ask out of curiosity. From the look on her mother’s face, it seemed to be something worthwhile that would make the Titans and Blazing Sky Gods take action.
“A very safe Source Power Secret Technique!”
“What are you planning to discuss with them using that kind of thing?” The Golden Dragon Mother’s face tensed up, recognizing the risky nature of such an item – an artifact that would require an Epic race to put their lives on the line repeatedly in order to refine and summarize the secret method.
“I want to make a trade with them!”
“You don’t need me to tell you how crucial that thing is, right?”
“I know, even making such a trade with the famously trustworthy Titans could be quite risky, after all, this is the most precious secret technique for acquiring Source Power, but if I don’t trade, your old dragon mother might not make it!”
“Huh? You didn’t obtain this secret technique through some improper methods, did you?” Hearing her mother’s words, the Golden Dragon Mother started to scrutinize her, knowing her better than anyone else, she knew exactly what kind of character her mother was.
“All you need to know is that you should keep this knowledge to yourself, why blurt it out? It makes me feel so embarrassed,” Yarista said, patting the Golden Dragon Mother, “In the Void, it’s impossible to acquire a Source Power Secret Technique through proper means, it’s not something anybody would just carelessly spread around.”
“You’re impressive, Mom; you actually managed to get your hands on that kind of thing.”
“Of course, didn’t you see who I am? I reached the Legendary Peak and entered the Void even before your father did.” Hearing her daughter’s words of admiration, Yarista was filled with pride. Being able to steal a Source Power Secret Technique from a powerful Epic race was something she could boast about for hundreds of thousands of years.
“I’m now preparing to return to the Erathia World, do you want to come back with me?”
“I still have a Star Gate inside this world, if possible, you could return through the Star Gate.”
“Forget it, it would be easier for me to just fly back myself; this world is too cramped for me. It would be too strenuous to go in, and ordinary Star Gates simply can’t bear my size.” Hearing her daughter’s suggestion, Yarista shook her head and declined.
“Then I’ll go with you! I’ve heard that when a new Epic returns to their world, there’s a big spectacle. I didn’t see it when old Dad became an Epic and returned to the world; this time, I want to have a proper look.”
“Alright then, this time I’ll let you get a good look!”
…
“I’m back!” Using Epic Power, Yarista said in a tone of wonder as she quickly brought her daughter outside the Erathia World Barrier.
“Stop sighing and get inside,” urged the Golden Dragon Mother, unable to hide her impatience as she saw her mother still expressing her emotions, “I want to witness the grand spectacle of an epic return!”
“What’s the rush? Am I the Dragon King, or are you?”
“Of course, you are, just hurry up, stop dawdling.”
“Hmph, watch closely; the moment of glory enjoyed by every epic returnee is about to unfold.”
After finishing the statement, Yarista began to break through the World Barrier. Initially, it felt like a mortal colliding with a steel plate, but that sensation quickly dissipated as if the world had recognized her identity.
Then, every obstacle disappeared, and the glowing World Barrier, as if nonexistent, allowed her free entry. A sense of belonging, like being embraced by a mother, filled Yarista’s heart, a welcome change from the congested blockage she had felt when trying to break through the Medium-sized World under Atris’s control.
When Yarista’s entire body entered the Erathia World, the laws roared, and endless streams of light converged in the direction of the Yarista Dragon King’s arrival. The Sea of Origin Force within the world became turbulent, sensing the Dragon King’s power from a location no other being could reach, and then it crystallized a corresponding divine office.
Afterward, a crystal-clear gemstone appeared, and as soon as the divine office was formed, it fell into the gemstone. This was the Divine Attribute that countless mortal beings deeply coveted.
Soon, as the Yarista Dragon King broke through the World Barrier and truly descended into the Material World, the Divine Attribute carrying the divine office also appeared before her. Numerous forces of the Elements and Laws surrounded her, as if waiting for the Dragon King to make her choice.
“As expected, this is a privilege unique to epics, the choice between Dragon King and Dragon God!” Yarista said gleefully, glancing at her daughter who had descended with her, her tone filled with a show-off pride.
Inside the Temple of All Gods,
when the Yarista Dragon King entered the world, the commotion caused by the world welcoming the returnee alerted thousands of deities. Countless deities turned their attention to the disturbance. They had felt such ripples several times over the ages, and some of the particularly ancient deities had experienced it dozens of times. Thus, the Temple of All Gods once again became noisy.
“Another epic being has been born!”
“It’s a Dragon King from the Dragon Race!”
“The Dragon Race has grown stronger!”
“Now, Her Majesty the Dragon King is facing a choice. I wonder how she will decide? It would be straightforward if she were a Titan or a member of the Blazing Sky God Race, but she is a Dragon King!”
As they spoke, many deities turned their eyes to the nine Dragon Gods who occupied a section of the temple, their eyes full of amusement. The Dragon Race, lacking their own techniques for acquiring Origin Energy, found it difficult to enhance their power. Hence, some Dragon Kings chose to merge into the World Rules to gain authority, and these nine Dragon Gods were examples.
…
“Look, now if I’m willing to accept this Divine Attribute and merge it into my body, my power could double instantly. Jealous, aren’t you?” Yarista, fully aware that many eyes were on her, playfully looked at her daughter while she picked the Divine Attribute that had appeared before her and toyed with it in her claws.
“You’re not going to choose fusion, so what’s there to be jealous of!” the Golden Dragon Mother tried hard to cover the envy in her eyes and deliberately spoke with a disdainful expression.
This was the moment of glory that being an epic afforded. With a legendary body, one could ignite the Divine Fire, gather faith, and ascend to a God Position. This had been the most orthodox Path of Godhood before the first epic appeared, but after the advent of epics, this way of attaining godhood seemed somewhat laughable.
Ordinary deities became rulers of World Rules in a manner akin to begging, whereas epic beings becoming gods was about the world begging epics to take control of its rules.
This was the case with Yarista, who hadn’t developed any followers in Erathia World and didn’t have a decent church; at most, there were a few who had witnessed her legendary peak and venerated her in awe.
She lacked all traditional qualifications for deification; what she possessed was the Dragon King’s Power that could rival deities and the three drops of source power within her.
Once she entered the world, the world sensed her power and coalesced a divine office that corresponded to her strength. If she wished, she could become a god on the spot.
However, after toying with the Divine Attribute in her hand for a moment, Yarista waved her claws and threw it away, “Thank you for welcoming me back with such grandeur, but I have no intention of becoming a deity right now, sorry!”
As her words ended, her will was also conveyed. Subsequently, the Divine Attribute she had discarded slowly vanished into the Void, never to be seen again, and the forces of rules and the Elemental Vortexes that had swirled around her also slowly dissipated.
