Chapter 831: Chapter 819: Daily Essential Entertainment Items Chapter 831: Chapter 819: Daily Essential Entertainment Items “Your Majesty, is this really okay?” the golden Dragonborn Maid asked with a face full of worry.

“It’s fine.” Playing with a small, delicate battleship model in his hands, Muria looked towards the light screen in front of him, displaying the knowledge of battleship manufacturing.

Among the many light screens containing vital knowledge that could impact the progress and morale of a civilization, there was one particularly discordant screen, showing the scene of Dragon Clan Academy students who had joined the Mourner Society involved in their collective club activities.

Curse Muria! Curse the founder of Erathia World’s first Dragon Clan Academy! Curse the originator of the Dragon Clan Academy’s stringent education system! Curse the being who made thousands of young dragons live a life worse than death, unable to merely scrape by with ease!

This was the reason the Mourner Society was able to attract the participation of many Giant Dragons from within the Dragon Clan Academy. By joining, they could vent the resentment derived from their burdensome studies to their heart’s content.

“But Your Majesty, more and more Giant Dragons are cursing you, and if this continues, even you may not be able to hold out,” Mia said, looking at the Giant Dragons cursing in the light screens, her eyes revealing irritation.

Her gaze returned to Muria. Thirty years had left not the slightest mark on him; he remained as young as he ever was, maintaining the appearance of the youngest human adolescent.

His black hair swept back, his golden pupils radiant, he sat quietly in his pure white feathered robe. Having read a multitude of books over several decades, he had acquired the refined elegance of a scholar and his eyes twinkled with wisdom.

However, in stark contrast to his demeanor, there was a faint grey-black halo enveloping his body. If one looked closely at this halo, they would notice the dynamic, various dragon-shaped phantoms. These dragon shapes issued resentful roars, seemingly protesting the pain they had suffered.

Mia understood what it was: these were the cursed halos formed by the Giant Dragons of the Mourner Society after they had vented their resentment through curses.

Even though each curse from the individual Giant Dragons was as innocuous as a joke, devoid of malice, even such curses, accumulating over time with almost ten thousand Giant Dragons casting them daily, had become a tangible, visible halo of curses around Muria.

In Erathia, a world where faith can deify, the sincere praises of millions can uplift the Divine Throne, turning a mortal into an eternally living deity. Then what about the curses of millions? Could they tear a god from their Divine Throne, causing them to fall to the mortal realm?

Mia didn’t know, nor had she considered this. After all, she was only a short-sighted Personal maid. Her only goal in life was to serve her master, Muria, and nothing else.

“But Your Majesty, the cursed aura around you is getting more severe. Even with your identity, it may become unbearable, and these curses could erupt one day.”

“Then let them burst. After all, they are all harmless jokes,” Muria said with a smile, not taking the worries of his Personal maid seriously.

He was a Hybrid of the source-power-infused Titan and Dragon King! Any curse from beings below the status of Deities was ineffective against him. He could immunize himself against all instantaneous-death spells, and unless directly cursed by a god of insufficient strength, they would not take effect.

These young dragons issued curses at him, light-hearted as jokes, due to the overwhelming coursework; by all means, such curses should have no effect, as the essential gap between them and him was simply too vast.

Yet, the gradually forming and increasingly Strengthening cursed halo around him gave Muria a foreboding premonition; he had tried to remove it but to no avail.

Like quenching a thirst with poison, as soon as he cleared the curse, and the Mourner Society’s young dragons held their club activities the next day, the curses would reappear on him. After a few attempts, Muria gave up.

“Your Majesty, perhaps reducing the Mourner Society’s activities, not needing to conduct them daily, could be attempted.”

“Mia, do you know why I allow the existence of the Mourner Society?” Muria partially divided his attention to converse with his Personal maid, while most of it remained on the light screens filled with various knowledge in front of him.

“Forgive my ignorance, Your Majesty, I don’t understand,” Mia truly did not understand. In her view, why would a high-status figure like Muria tolerate such defamation from those ignorant young dragons?

He had crafted a mandatory 120-year educational system for these young dragons for their benefit. The process was indeed somewhat brutal: for example, elementary school dragons could only rest for three days in a month, because the coursework during class was too burdensome, forcing many young dragons to lack sufficient sleep, and they could only catch up on sleep during their days off.

As for older dragons, like middle school and high school students, their sleep was gradually reduced; often, to complete their coursework, these student dragons had no time to sleep at all.

“Mia, you see, since the founding of the Academy, the number of clubs spontaneously created by the dragon students has exceeded fifty. But aside from the Mourner Society, the rest of the clubs are clearly divided by type.

Metallic dragons only join clubs created by metallic dragons, and Five Colored Dragons only join clubs created by their own kind. The exclusiveness of these clubs is too severe and does not match my initial expectations. I had hoped that the club system would allow dragons of all kinds to get along harmoniously, but unfortunately, not a single one of these clubs has achieved this.”

“But the Mourner Society has achieved this.” Mia looked at the light screen broadcasting the club activities of the Mourner Society. Within it, not only were there metallic dragons, but also a large number of Five Colored Dragons, Gemstone Dragons, and even rarer species like the Primal Dragons, Shadow Dragons, Cloud Dragons, Crystal Dragons… and so on.

Setting aside the number of members, Mia had to admit that the Mourner Society had the most varied species of giant dragons within the entire Dragon Clan Academy, standing out as the foremost among them.

“That’s why I permit their existence,” Muria’s mouth curved upward. If it weren’t for the Mourner Society achieving something the other societies couldn’t, he would never tolerate these young dragons causing such a ruckus.

“The reality has proven that with enough external pressure, even dragons of different kinds, with hatred between them, can unite against a common enemy.”

“But they united only…”

“To curse me,” Muria said with a smile on his face. He raised his hand to touch his chin, “Actually, this isn’t too bad. Who can blame them when I’ve imposed such a harsh educational system on them? It’s natural they see me as a common enemy.”

After several Dragon Kings contributed money and dragons, becoming shareholders in the Dragon Clan Academy, Muria reformed the Academy’s educational system and established a much stricter curriculum.

He mandated one hundred and twenty years of compulsory education for the Dragon Race, divided into sixty years of elementary school, thirty years of middle school, thirty years of high school, and then college lasting from thirty to fifty years.

It was this educational system that caused the dragon students within the Academy to grumble and complain. Even the ancient dragons that taught the students felt overwhelmed. However, all these dissenting voices were forcibly suppressed after Muria got in touch with several other Dragon Kings.

The time had come for the Dragon Race to initiate change, and transformation required enduring some growing pains. Compared to the burdensome teaching duties of the ancient dragons and the heavy workload of the young dragons, the pains of such transformation were quite mild.

These Dragon Kings sensed that the Blazing Sky God Race and the Titan Tribe seemed to be forging an alliance to plot something. Though the Dragon Kings of the Dragon Race were involved, they were marginalized due to the vast differences between their races. The Dragon Kings, being only nominally united with them, naturally felt dissatisfied with such treatment.

Therefore, their attention turned to the Dragon Clan Academy established by Muria. Over the course of several decades, the resources and strong support from multiple Dragon Kings led to the flourishing of Muria’s Academy.

The original campus, first established on twelve Cloud Islands, had expanded to thirty-two Cloud Islands — part of Muria’s plan for the development of the Dragon Clan Academy.

He was the biggest benefactor of all this because, given his identity, no Dragon King dared to push him aside. Regardless of who they were, each had to consider his three grandfathers.

Muria didn’t care about the Dragon Kings’ intentions or their schemes. The matters that concerned the Dragon Kings were none of his business; he just needed to focus on his own responsibilities.

“Look, these little ones are about to start their formal collective curse,” Muria raised his hand to stop Mia from speaking and eagerly watched the light screen. This was his daily entertainment, something he looked forward to after reading a multitude of dry and complicated books. It was a must-see every day.

“Now, the time for free cursing is over; it’s time for the formal collective curse,”

Standing beneath the statue of Muria, the Silver Dragon Lufei gently pressed her silver claws, activating the silence magic array embedded in the secret chamber, preventing all dragons from speaking. However, Lufei soon turned off the silence magic array.

The little Silver Dragon turned solemnly, looked up at the towering statue of Muria, and began to recall all the things she had endured upon entering the Dragon Clan Academy at a young age. Anger started to glint her eyes.

Lufei had to remember her tragic experiences; otherwise, she would not have the courage to proceed with the ceremony of cursing because she knew the object of their curse was watching them. Only in a state of fury did she dare to initiate the curse. As rage filled her mind, Lufei took the lead and began to curse,

“Great Principal Muria, I curse you to trip over your own feet when not in battle and to choke on bones when eating…”
