Chapter 817: Chapter 806 You Are Already a Mature Dragon Chapter 817: Chapter 806 You Are Already a Mature Dragon Boom!

Having been kicked by the Golden Dragon Mother, Muria traced a long streak through the sky, dragging a trail of energy, until he finally crashed into a Light Prism Tower in Cloud City, creating a neatly shaped dent upon impact.

“Ouch, that was a really hard kick!” Muria freed himself from the dent, and just as he reached to rub his waist, he noticed a pair of long, straight legs appear before him, accompanied by a familiar scent entering his senses.

“Uh!” Muria stopped rubbing his waist and slowly lifted his head along the strong long legs, only to have a face of flawless, peerless beauty come into view.

“Mija, long time no see!”

“Shouldn’t you be giving me an explanation?” Michaela looked emotionlessly at Muria standing in front of her, offering a sheepish smile. While she was leading her newly formed Angel Legion in the Obistro Subcontinent, burrowing through tunnels to battle Liches, this guy had already taken a jaunt through the Void.

If she hadn’t returned to her Cloud City and gotten in touch with her elder brother, she wouldn’t have known that Muria had ventured into the Void, and had even witnessed an epic, large-scale battle.

“What explanation?” Muria looked at the Blazing Sky Girl in front of him, somewhat lacking in confidence. He wondered if he had mistreated her in any way. Even when he went to the Undead Dungeon to fight Liches, he went out of his way to disregard his own reputation by contacting a Great Lich to buy information, all to ensure her absolute safety.

“Why didn’t you take me with you when you accepted the Titan Tribe’s trial, went to a Different World, and conquered the world?” Michaela looked at Muria with a touch of disappointment in her eyes. How could he have gone without her on such a mission? Did he not consider her one of his own?

“The Void Conquest is full of unknowns, I wanted to scout out the path first and then notify you,” Muria replied with an embarrassed smile. In truth, when he acquired the Shadow Wasteland World and obtained the nine world coordinates, he never thought of involving Michaela in the exploration.

Just as he said, the Void was filled with unknowns, and he had no idea what might happen next. How could he possibly involve Michaela in such circumstances?

Even though Muria knew that Michaela loved battle, he would never cater to her preferences and expose her to such danger. If he dared bring Michaela along for pioneering, the one standing before her now might not be Michaela herself, but rather probably his uncle-in-law.

“Muria, I’m angry now,” Michaela declared, puffing her cheeks slightly—a trick she learned from a female subordinate, supposedly effective at capturing a male’s heart and making him compliant. She had seen it work perfectly; the most powerful and longest-lived among her subordinates, Asimio, was indeed quite obedient to her female subordinate.

“Hiss!” Seeing the usually serious and battle-loving Michaela suddenly displaying such a coquettish and cute expression, Muria couldn’t help but gasp, retreating a step to lean against the tower before he scrutinized her closely, attentively sensing the aura emanating from her.

Indeed, it was the authentic scent of Michaela he remembered, albeit slightly stronger than before, but definitely genuine, not a fake. But if she wasn’t an impostor, why would she show such an expression? It made no sense!

“What’s with that expression?” Michaela’s dissatisfaction was immediate upon seeing Muria’s reaction. When her female subordinate showed such an expression in front of her subordinate, the ten-winged Archangel would rush to comfort her, and she had grown weary of watching it.

“Cough, I just wanted to make sure no one was impersonating you. I’ve never seen you with that kind of expression before,” Muria quickly explained upon Michaela’s query.

“What’s wrong with my expression? Is there a problem?” Michaela’s cutesy expression vanished, her usual stoic face returning.

“No, no problem at all. I like it a lot; it’s good,” Muria said hastily, realizing it was a good thing for Michaela to show such an expression to him rather than being stone-faced all the time—that would be too much of a failure.

“Really?”

“Really,” Muria nodded vigorously.

“Fine, then, I’ll stay. I want the world coordinates you have, and I’ll help you conquer the worlds.”

“This…” Muria hesitated, a look of uncertainty crossing his face.

“If you don’t agree, don’t ever expect to see an expression like that or anything similar on my face again.”

“…”

Ultimately, Muria compromised. After all, Michaela had already arrived in the Shadow Wasteland World through the Star Gate, and he couldn’t possibly send her back by force—that would look too bad, wouldn’t it? Besides, to be honest, Michaela’s power was not much weaker than his own.

She had fought frenetically in the Undead Dungeon of Obistro to catch up with him, and had now become a presence that even the Legendary Liches inside dreaded and avoided at all costs.

Due to Michaela’s presence, even the Undead Dungeon saw the extraordinary spectacle of numerous Legendary Undead escaping, for after all, Michaela was a third-generation deity that the Liches dared not provoke.

The somewhat better-informed Undead all knew that Michaela was a being they could not afford to offend, and since they could neither provoke nor resist, there was only one option left to them—to flee.

Thus, Michaela remained behind, while Muria’s plan to conquer small worlds and gather resources continued. Muria had coordinates for three medium-sized worlds and six small worlds, with the Tide Small World having already been conquered.

There were five more small worlds remaining, which were Muria’s next targets. As for the medium-sized worlds, Muria had no intention of making a move on them yet.

In the worlds under Titan’s control, small worlds were undoubtedly rich in resources, while medium-sized worlds were among the top tier, nurturing countless powerful creatures and serving as recruitment grounds for the Titan.

But Muria now, still unable to conquer the Shadow Wasteland World that even Destiny favored him, let alone those medium-sized worlds for which he only had coordinates. Entering those worlds, he wouldn’t receive any preferential treatment, unlike the experience in this world.

So, accompanied by his fiancée and his parents, Muria traveled through the Void, leading the Void Fleet to continuously conquer one small world after another. With world rules suppressing him, there weren’t significant difficulties. The strongest of these small worlds had only spawned two Legends.

Because resource-type small worlds generally revolved around mining metallic minerals and the like, which couldn’t give rise to overly powerful creatures. Conversely, if it were a world primarily rich in energy resources, it wouldn’t be classified as a small one.

Time slipped away in the midst of Muria’s family’s relentless conquests, and gradually the time approached Muria’s two hundredth birthday, the age of maturity.

“Little Muria, you’ve come of age!”

A grand celebration was held on Central Cloud Island in Xena Pus, and after this jubilant feast, the Golden Dragon Mother approached Muria, wine in hand and a sentimental look in her eyes.

“Yes, I’ve come of age!” Muria raised his glass, his eyes tinged with a sense of reflection. Ordinary dragons reach maturity at a hundred years, but for him, it was two hundred years.

It was because his bloodline was so powerful that even if he did nothing, he would become a Legend upon reaching maturity. Unfortunately, with the Titan’s training system and the education of his mother, he couldn’t possibly do nothing, so he became a Legend long before.

Now that he was fully two hundred years old, while other creatures were just becoming Legends, he was about to step into the realm of Legendary Fifth-Rank. It was estimated that in a hundred or at most, two hundred years’ time, he would be able to enter the ranks of High-level Legendary,

Then, even within the Erathia World, apart from his kin and a small number of creatures with terrifyingly strong bloodlines such as the Legendary Dragons and the Abomination Dragons, he would no longer need to fear anyone.

By that time, even if a deity sent down an avatar, he would dare to confront it head-on, relying on his Legendary weapons and equipment.

“Time really does fly!” Hearing Muria’s words, the Golden Dragon Mother’s eyes displayed an even deeper sense of sorrow, “In the blink of an eye, two hundred years have passed. You’ve come of age, and I’ve aged two hundred years unwittingly.”

Hearing the Golden Dragon Mother’s words, Muria couldn’t help but be speechless. He originally thought she would say something about him, only to find out he had misread the situation. But seeing the sadness in the Golden Dragon Mother’s eyes, he felt obliged to comfort her, since such matters couldn’t be expected from his battle-obsessed father.

“Mother, you’re far from old!”

“That’s what I thought two hundred years ago too. Soon, my maturity period will end, and I’ll enter my prime. One step closer to being called an Old Dragon.”

“You still have four hundred years! It’s not that bad.” Muria rolled his eyes. A progenitor dragon’s life stages typically lasted twice as long as those of a commonplace Giant Dragon. Indeed, the Golden Dragon Mother’s maturity period was nearly over, but she still had a full four hundred years of her prime left before she would become an elderly dragon at eight hundred.

“Time does go by very quickly, though.” Suddenly, the Golden Dragon Mother shifted the topic back to Muria, “You see, before I become an elderly dragon, could you give me a granddaughter to hold, to keep me company? It’d be too miserable if I grow old without one. You can’t expect your father, that battle-obsessed man, to keep me company, can you?”

“I’ll try,” Muria chuckled awkwardly.

“You can’t just ‘try’,” you’re two hundred years old now, a fully mature dragon. It’s time to sort out your personal issues. You’re so old and still a virgin; don’t you find that shameful? You’re disrespecting the Dragon Clan Bloodline that you carry.”
