Chapter 806 - 806 795 Invasion of the Evil Gods Minions
Chapter 806: Chapter 795: Invasion of the Evil God’s Minions Chapter 806: Chapter 795: Invasion of the Evil God’s Minions Three years later, Muria stood within the confines of a vast and luxurious mansion, looking down at the Tide Civilization’s great President Fage, who was bowing before him, a faint smile on his face.
“Now, it is time for me to leave,” Muria said to the new President Fage of the Tide People. “The things I asked you to prepare, remember to have them ready. I will send someone to collect them regularly. If they do not meet the standard, I don’t mind replacing the president, even if it takes a few more years.”
“Just a few rare mineral resources, rest assured. The amount you need, I will prepare for you every year,” said Fage, who had risen to the highest position among the Tide People, with great respect and not a trace of anger on his face.
Fage, whose heart had turned from red to black, was well aware of the terrifying power and wisdom that this being possessed. It was entirely due to this being’s existence that he had reached his current position, transforming from a mech pilot full of justice and passion into a powerful president who could lead his race forward.
He reflected on everything he had experienced in recent years, feeling like he was falling into a dream. The man he had been three years ago had completely changed; his temperament, mental acuity, and problem-solving abilities were now utterly different.
The young mech pilot, who once thought only of battle and piloted mechs to protect the Tide People, had vanished. In his place was a Tide Civilization President who was full of plots and adept at playing power games.
Over the last three years, he had betrayed far too much: the passion a warrior should have, his conscience, the sense of justice in his heart, and… his own love.
Fage remembered clearly that day when he had encountered a beautiful woman. However, upon investigation, he discovered that behind the woman was a massive political clan.
At that moment, he was extremely disappointed. He had contemplated ending his association with the woman, but then Muria appeared and mocked him extensively.
“Fage, having come this far, do you still harbor hopes for a love that’s pure and untainted by any impurity? Why are you still so naïvely laughable? At your level, you no longer deserve love. Your marriage has become a commodity, and what you should do now is sell it at the highest price for the greatest benefit,” Muria had jeered.
After a period of silence, Fage took Muria’s advice. He continued the relationship with the woman with ulterior motives and eventually married her. In exchange, he gained immense political capital that led to his unstoppable rise to become the President of the Tide People.
However, unlike previous presidents, Fage held the world’s most potent power in his hands—the Dawn Mecha, the weapon bestowed upon him by the being before him.
Now, as the bearer of the ultimate weapon, Fage had the potential to change the Tide People’s system. He was no longer a president who could be replaced at will, but an emperor whose words could decide the rise and fall of the entire Tide Civilization.
In the past three years, thanks to his cooperation with Muria, he had gained massive prestige among the lower ranks of the Tide People. Besides the three Disaster Beasts that the Tide Civilization had already dealt with, the silently annihilated Sea King, and the Dragon Turtle taken away by Muria,
the remaining eleven slumbering Disaster Beasts were awakened by Muria, eight of which had just vented their waking wrath and then were confronted by Fage in the Dawn Mecha…And thus, a myth was born among the Tide People—eight battles against the Disaster Beasts, and eight victories. In truth, out of the eight Soul Intent Level Superpower Beasts, those Muria found pleasing were taken by him, and those he found displeasing, Muria helped the Dawn Mecha to cheat and killed them outright.
For conquering these nightmares of the Tide People in nine victories, Fage earned an unparalleled reputation. His fame within Tide Civilization soared, and now there were Tide People starting to worship him as an avatar of a deity, for the Dawn Mecha was indeed like a god, with the power to provoke changes in the heavens.
“As long as you can provide me with a stable supply of mineral resources every year, I can ensure that the Tide People will always be autonomous and will not interfere with your development,” Muria assured.
After arranging his affairs in this world, Muria looked at Fage with a playful expression, “Do you have anything else you want to say to me?”
“I want to ask, are you really a devil?” Fage looked up at Muria, who he had originally thought wanted souls and flesh, but in the end, only required some metal minerals.
Now, metal minerals were pretty much worthless in the reality of the Tide People, because with the appearance of his Dawn Mecha, their research direction had completely shifted. From researching metal mechs, they turned to studying biological mechs, which dramatically reduced their demand for metal and caused metal prices to plummet.
“If you wish to be the ruler of Tide Civilization, I can offer you another choice,” Muria, about to leave, said to Fage, a hint of a smile on his face.
Then, he walked towards the exterior of the mansion. Fage, puzzled, followed suit. As they reached the open courtyard, a series of angry reprimands mixed with surprised exclamations rang out in Fage’s ears.
“Who are you? How did you get in here?”
“What is that? Protect His Excellency the President.”
“Alert!”
“Be careful, Your Excellency, the President.”
…Cries of alarm rang one after another, causing Fage to become slightly dazed. He had realized that Muria was no longer visible only to him; apparently, everyone could see him.
“Fage, this is the last gift I bestow upon you before I leave.”
After speaking, Muria’s stature, which used to be equal in height to Fage, suddenly became immensely tall, resembling the majestic mountain of eternity.
As Muria revealed his Titan True Form, dark clouds instantly filled the sky, and endless gales, with dark clouds sweeping in from all directions, thick thunder flashing across the heavens, plunged the world into darkness. But soon, the darkness was driven away completely.
Because the sun appeared above the ground—that was Muria. His body emitted an incredibly radiant golden light that made his form appear blurry, only a humanoid silhouette discernible. It was as if a deity had descended to the world.
“Fage, from today onward, you will be my proxy.” A grand voice echoed, and then the godlike being tore through space, vanishing in a blink.
The hurricane, the thunder, and the sun that had descended upon the ground disappeared without a trace in an instant, and the world reverted to its original state, leaving only a crowd of Tidal People engulfed in shock, their eyes glazed over.
“So it was you who altered the evolutionary process of our Tide People?” Fage gazed dully at the sky, a mixture of disappointment and resignation appearing in his eyes, yet there was also some relief, as he had already had an inkling of suspicion.
…
“Divine right of kings!” Beyond the World Barrier of the Tide World, Muria looked down and said, “I have revealed my true form and called out your name. If you still cannot secure your position, I will be deeply disappointed. Surely you aren’t that incompetent!”
“Now…” Muria’s eyes turned toward the vast Void beyond, “let’s see how far my parents have gotten. I hope my father doesn’t go too hard on them; after all, they are my future sustenance!”
…
“What is the Void Inspection Office doing? The Evil God’s Followers have already invaded here, and they haven’t even noticed.”
In a world with polluted air, Ansol’s body was surrounded by Golden Thunder and intangible hurricanes, and with every swing of his Spear of Destruction, he burst a twisted creature with tentacles in midair.
However, after these monsters burst, instead of all their parts being obliterated by the Golden Thunder, the remaining fragments were actually devoured by other twisted creatures, which then seemed to grow stronger.
“Ansol, don’t just think about fighting. The influence of the Evil God on this world is quite severe; even the World Will has awakened. Find a way to break through these monsters’ blockade and seek help from your father. This has gone beyond our capability.”
Atop the shoulder of the towering Titan, who was cutting a swathe through the midst of the Evil God’s Followers, a golden-haired girl holding a magic staff and drawing on the flow of the Elements spoke with a serious expression.
“I know. But…” Ansol looked up at the polluted sky and then a hurricane burst forth from beneath his feet, propelling his massive body straight up into the sky. However, as he rose less than a hundred meters, the Evil God’s Followers, as if gone mad, threw themselves at him one after another. As they neared Ansol, they self-detonated, and using these relentless suicides, they forcefully pushed Ansol back to the ground.
“These sickening creatures want to keep us here! Hmph!” Ansol snorted angrily, wrapped in a field of Golden Thunder; he was extremely dissatisfied with the situation he was encountering.
“Alas, we shouldn’t have recklessly entered like this.” Seeing her husband fail to break out again, the Golden Dragon Mother sighed. They had originally planned to travel to the next small world using coordinates given by Muria, but accidentally, they encountered this medium-sized world that was not under Titan’s name.
Feeling something odd about this world, the Golden Dragon Mother had directly pulled Ansol inside to investigate and naturally discovered the trace of the Evil God’s Followers.
“What’s the use of saying this now?” Ansol fired his weapon, blasting another twisted creature made up of randomly assembled tentacles, eyeballs, and fangs.
“True, now we can only wait for Little Muria to find us!”
