King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 780 - 780 769 I am Titan
Chapter 780: Chapter 769: I am Titan! Chapter 780: Chapter 769: I am Titan! Muria’s words left all the members of the Flame Wheel tribe in confusion, unsure of how to respond. Envy was inevitable. Even the mature members of the tribe, including those who already had three totems like Valley, were exceptionally envious of Black Terror, as Valley, the most potent hunter in the Flame Wheel tribe, still had not made a sacrifice as powerful as the Feathered Serpent Dragon.
“My lord, I’ve completed my coming of age ceremony,” said Black Terror, a once skinny youth who now stood before them, muscularly transformed and beaming with joy towards Muria. His body had grown to sixteen meters, almost the size of an average adult member of the tribe.
Black Terror’s astonishing strength made many members of the Flame Wheel Tribe envious. The lad, once a liability who wasted food, now stood atop newfound heights. His invocation of the Feathered Serpent Dragon totem had laid a solid foundation for him.
“Hmm, is no one going to answer? Feeling shy?” Muria looked at the silent Flame Wheel Tribe and then turned her attention to a delighted Black Terror. There was a new kind of look in the boy’s eyes when he gazed at her, somewhat resembling that of a… fanatic.
“Black Terror, show your tribesmen the power you’ve gained from this coming-of-age ceremony,” she told him.
“Yes!” blushed Black Terror, then headed towards the open field where there were several chiseled stone blocks used for testing strength.
Under the complex gazes of his tribesmen, Black Terror walked up to the stone locks and lifted the largest one, stirring a gust of wind by his swinging. The malicious eyes gazing at him from his tribe seemed to have lessened, replaced by more reverence. Whoever wielded power was always respected.
“My lord, what exactly are you trying to do?” asked the old sacrifice ritual conductor, his murk eye scrutinizing the imposingly clad Muria, probing for answers amidst this peculiar atmosphere that had befallen the Flame Wheel Tribe.
“Do you want to become like Black Terror? Like him, choosing a beast as powerful as the Feathered Serpent Dragon as your first totem of life? Do you want it?”
Muria ignored the old priest, turning her gaze on three more youngsters in line to their coming-of-age ceremonies. “Do you want it?” she asked them.
“Yes!” Achai, one of the boys, stepped forward, and roared with all his strength. He wanted nothing less. The Steel-Toothed Tyrannosaurus his father had prepared for him, was nothing compared to the Feathered Serpent Dragon. After all, the former was prey in the eyes of the latter.
“My lord, what are you up to? This is the Flame Wheel Tribe!” Valley, Achai’s father and the tribe’s mighty hunter, asked. His son had just responded to Muria’s question.
“I want you to submit to me! In return, I’ll treat you the same as Black Terror. Every one of you can use a beast as powerful as the Serpent Dragon as your first offering in your coming-of-age ceremony.”
“Who are you, really? You do not belong to the city.” The old priest by the bonfire stood up, shedding his feathered coat, ready to fight. Unlike the other naïve members of the Flame Wheel Tribe, he had traveled to the great city thousands of miles away. He had once had the opportunity to meet with the lord of the city, but the metallic armor of the lord is nothing compared to the armor worn by Muria.
Comparing the two armors is like comparing a herbivorous rodent to an Imperial Dragon – They both live and move, but the similarities end there.
“Who am I?” With a well-researched plan and resolute determination, Muria gave a soft laugh and stepped forward. Suddenly her body enlarged, towering and grandiose like a mountain, revealing her Titan Body to the stunned tribe members.
Wild hurricanes converged on Muria from all directions, forming a vast cloud vortex above her head. Countless silver snakes danced across the sky, illuminating the night. She radiated golden flames that lit up the Flame Wheel Tribe’s territory like daylight.
“I am Titan! The third Titan to rule the Shadow Wasteland World. Flame Wheel tribe, do you wish to become the first group to follow me when I descend into this world?”
“Lord Mu!” Black Terror looked up at Muria in bewilderment, barely able to see her soaring form, but he was the first to recover.
With utmost reverence, he knelt down and bowed his head to the ground, worshipping Muria with his body prostrate, “Great Titan, the Shadow Wasteland man Black Terror swears eternal allegiance to you. I will be your weapon.”
Following Black Terror, Achai promptly knelt on the ground, and the rest of the medieval people who had been shocked by Muria’s Titan Body followed suit, including the hostile Valley and that old priest.
The boiling blood within them told them that the person standing in front of them was no other than the Titan who had vanished for more than ten thousand years. Because besides Titans, no Shadow Wasteland person could possess such a majestic body, and the visions stirred by Muria were strikingly similar to the tales—followed by storms and accompanied by thunders—with the only difference being those radiant flames just like the sun.
Unsurprisingly, when Muria revealed his Titan true form to the Shadow Wasteland people of this tribe, the whole Flame Wheel Tribe submitted to him without a ripple, no one resisted him.
…
“Point out the location of the tribes around Flame Wheel, and report the most detailed information to me.” After dawn, Muria summoned the highest-ranking priests and the strongest hunter valley, to inquire from them.
“As commanded, Prince Mureya…” The elderly priest and the head of the hunters, who had already understood Muria’s identity, were very candid. They began to describe the situation around their tribe to Muria.
“White River, Yiliu, Tuya, these three are the tribes I will subjugate next.” After his conversation with the priests of the tribe and the head of the hunters, Muria had determined his next expansion target.
“Archmage Atris, why don’t you wield the true Nine Phoenix Divine Axe and directly enter the royal court, making all the Shadow Wasteland people submit to you. This world should be under your rule.”
After hearing Muria discussing with the priests and the head of the hunters about subjugating the surrounding tribes, the junior Black Terror who had been stifling a belly full of doubts asked with some confusion, feeling rather dispirited.
To the naive junior, it was simply the most natural thing for Shadow Wasteland people to submit to and serve the Titan of the legends. In fact, in the mythology of the Shadow Wasteland people, becoming a warrior of the Titans was an absolute honor.
“Black Terror, I would like to do so as well, but I am not nearly as powerful as my two elder tribesmen,” Muria replied with a smile, not blaming him for his unreserved words. After all, he himself had entertained such ideas.
However, his power was simply insufficient. If he dared to recklessly intrude into the core of the Nine Phoenix Dynasty, then suppression would be his only fate. In the worst case, he might even be slain directly by Nine Phoenix Dynasty. Never underestimate the obsessive greed for power of intelligent creatures; how does god-killing compare to it?
“But with such power, who among us Shadow Wasteland people can resist you?”
“Don’t underestimate your world too much, Black Terror. There are many powerful beings in your world.” Muria smiled. Without investigating, he knew that there must be legendary peak existences in the Shadow Wasteland world, and maybe it was more than one.
….
In Elasia, on the outskirts of the Titan Islands, a fully-formed fleet flew over magnificently, while on the largest of the assembled flagships, a blonde girl with flowing hair and slender figure stood against the wind.
Even under the sunlight, this girl’s body was radiating visible light that even the sun could not overshadow. Her presence seemed to compete with the brilliance of the sun.
“Archmage Atris, is it really alright to just enter the Titan’s territory like this?” An Ancient Golden Dragon that had come with her asked worriedly, after all this place was renowned on the continent as a forbidden area for creatures!
“What’s wrong with that, don’t forget, you are now under Little Muria. You are Muria’s subordinate, and this is Little Muria’s home. This should be a place where you can move freely. There’s no logic in being attacked when you return to your own territory.” Dragon mother Atreus was nonchalant.
And when she led the fleet into the airspace above the Titan Islands, an almost imperceptible ripple brushed past the entire fleet, then all was calm and nothing happened.
Huh! The Golden Dragon mother who had just bragged secretly breathed a sigh of relief, after all just in case the spirit responsible for the entire Titan Sea Territory freaks out. Indeed, to describe the fleet developed by Muria as an external force of the Titan Tribe was somewhat forced.
“You all wait here, I will communicate with the spirit of the Hall of Transcendence.” When the fleet flew close to the Titan Clan Lands, Dragon mother Atreus stopped and started to communicate with the Titan’s special building constructed specifically with the void…
