King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 775 - 775 764 Bowing Down Dream on
Chapter 775: Chapter 764: Bowing Down? Dream on! Chapter 775: Chapter 764: Bowing Down? Dream on! “The Shadow Wasteland World already has a unified political power.”
Through the conversation with Black Terror, Muria received a lot of information, and this was one of the most important pieces. While for the people of this world, the existence of the Nine Phoenix Dynasty was common knowledge, it was particularly relevant to a Titan like Muria who aimed to become the supreme ruler of this world.
At least, this allowed Muria to know that this replica of the world he had obtained was the most difficult among all the Titans. What is the most terrifying thing in conquering the world? It’s this kind of unified political regime because they can marshal all forces to attack and resist him.
Regarding this outcome, Muria did some thought. It seemed quite reasonable, after all, it was a world that had been ruled by two Titans, and during the rule of two Titans, this world was undoubtedly in a state of unity.
In other words, tens of thousands of years ago, this world had already set the tone for unity. Even if the Titans left, the outstanding natives of this world would try to re-unite it.
However, for Muria, the third Titan who intended to rule this world again, this already unified political power is highly unfavorable.
Because the second Titan of this world has been away from the world for over ten thousand years, the inhabitants have already undergone countless generations of change. While they still retain legends about the Titans and traces of the Titan’s influences could be found in their customs, language, and culture, no creature truly recognizes or remembers the Titans anymore.
For instance, the Nine Phoenix Dynasty, which has unified the Shadow Wasteland World, claims externally that the Titans have fallen and even say that they have inherited the Titan’s inheritance. The Nine Phoenix Divine Axe they have in their possession is proof of this.
Of course, Muria estimated that the Nine Phoenix Divine Axe was a counterfeit modeled on the one he held in his hands, intended to maintain their rule and declare their so-called legitimacy externally.
However, only Muria knew that the Nine Phoenix Divine Axe was fake. To the other inhabitants of the Shadow Wasteland, the Divine Axe held by the Nine Phoenix Dynasty was real.
Even if he held the genuine Nine Phoenix Divine Axe and revealed his Titan True Form, he could gain the submission of a few weak natives, but next, he would have to face the siege of the Nine Phoenix Dynasty that had already unified this world.
Muria had a good idea how those rulers would react, they would vigorously smear his identity, calling him an impersonator, and claim that his Divine Axe is fake too. They would definitely not admit his identity.
This is an easy deduction. Rulers at the top don’t want another entity that could command them at will.
For the giants of this world, the Titan is their god, their only faith in this life. For the Nine Phoenix Dynasty, the Titan, who has already left and even fallen, is an important tool of maintaining their rule. They could place it in a temple for worship, putting it on a pedestal as an unfathomably sacred entity. Because the Titan has been gone for ten thousand years, they subconsciously believe that the Titan would never return.
And now, if a real Titan appeared, it would be as if a god they deemed non-existent and venerated at a high place, had descended from the altar in the temple. The rulers have no choice but to send out their army to surround and kill Muria.
“I knew that a situation of submission would not occur,” Muria’s face displayed a countenance of having expected all of this. “At the end of the day, I will still need to conquer this world with my fists. This Divine Axe will only be useful after I defeat all the strong beings in this world. It’s currently of no use.”
It seemed that the Divine Axe he was holding was equivalent to a treasure like the Imperial Seal. But the Imperial Seal only attains its significance when it’s in the hand of the Emperor. If it appeared in the hands of anyone other than the Emperor, then it would be a fake. Possessing the Imperial Seal doesn’t guarantee one can become the Emperor.
The only use of the Divine Axe in Muria’s hand now was to allow his smooth arrival into this world. But he has used this feature, and he has arrived in the Shadow Wasteland World.
Of course, Muria could use it as a weapon. The power of this Divine Axe was still growing considerably.
…
Three days later, under the guidance of the young Black Terror, Muria had looked over some of the beast skin book collections of the Flame Wheel Tribe, visited their significant places, walked through their hunting territory, and had a basic understanding of this world.
“Black Terror, thank you for acting as my tour guide these past few days,” Muria, looking at the young Black Terror walking in front of him, revealed a faint smile, “Tell me, what do you want?”
“Sir, are you planning to leave?” The young man looked at Muria with a troubled expression. These past few days had been the happiest since the news of his father’s death. With his proximity to Muria, even the high priests and elders of the tribe showed complete respect and deference.
“Of course not, I haven’t accomplished my goal yet. Until that happens, I won’t leave,” Muria smiled, “Now, tell me, what do you want?”
“Sir, I… I wish for a coming of age ceremony gift.” The boy hesitated. In these past few days, he had only answered some common sense queries for Muria. He deemed them as not worth mentioning and asking for a gift in return made him feel slightly embarrassed. But he soon dispelled these thoughts from his mind and fortified his resolve.
“Just these conditions?” Muria asked, raising an eyebrow slightly at the young man’s request, which he found too easy to fulfill.
He had spent the past few days figuring out the power system of the Shadow Wasteland World, the Way of Sacrifice, and the Totem Path.
The people of this world would fight against powerful beasts, kill them, and then perform a special ceremony. They offered sacrifices to some inexplicable existence or the World Will, then gained a portion of the power of the prey they killed, which became a totem inscribed on their bodies, making them stronger.
This was a very primitive, savage, and crude cultivation system, its roots traced back to Elasia. Even now, similar systems existed in Elasia.
But by now, Elasia had developed more sophisticated systems. One of them, known to Muria, was the Inscritpion Swordsman system. They also gained the power of inscription by killing powerful creatures and offering them as sacrifices.
Another method was to seal some powerful creatures within oneself, forcibly tapping into their power when needed, which could greatly increase one’s strength in a short time. All these systems were better developed than the totem path in the Shadow Wasteland World.
“Something stronger would be even better.” Noticing Muria’s seeming disappointment at his undemanding request, the young man called Black Terror quickly added, his face lighting up with joy.
“Alright, then!” Muria nodded. “Tell me, which direction is the most powerful beast in the surroundings of your tribe?”
“To the east, there is a Feathered Serpent Dragon!”
“Hmm!” Muria nodded. Of course, he knew that the boy was not talking about the dragons in the world of Elasia. The dragons here referred to a type of powerful creature, a definition of powerful creatures, not something specific.
“Wait here, I will be back soon.” With a step forward, Muria had disappeared from the young man’s sight in the blink of an eye. Seeing this, the boy’s eyes lit up with excitement. He knew that he had come across a fabled adventure. If he could seize this opportunity, he would soar to heights never before reached.
…
“Since this world has practically no suppression over the Titans, I’ll try summoning my minions. After all, I can’t handle everything by myself.”
Muria, who had just promised to find a worthy sacrifice for the boy that could change his life, was currently walking through the wilderness. All beasts cowered and all birds scattered at his approach. Compared to forgetful intelligent creatures, these ferocious beasts trusted their instincts more and knew how to react when facing Muria based on the information passed down through their bloodlines.
Muria had found the so-called Serpent Dragon but had not taken any actions. In its nest, he discovered a mini Elemental Crystal Ore Vein.
After a brief investigation of the quality of the crystals within, he decided it was not worth mining due to its poor quality. Instead, Muria took out his Staff of the End. The moment the staff appeared, all the elements wandering in the air started gathering towards it.
“Come out! My subjects!” Muria summoned his minions, using the Elemental Crystal Ore Vein as a pivot, the Staff of the End as a lever, manipulating the rules, tearing through space and time.
The energy contained in the crystal vein, which the shivering Feathered Serpent Dragon used as a nest, was rapidly depleted. At the top of Muria’s wand, a wormhole through space and time was quickly forming.
A roar echoing with hostility came from within the hole. Under Muria’s watchful eyes, a sinister Crimson Dragon Shadow struggled and crawled out.
“I’m here, Muria.” Just out from the wormhole, the Red Dragon Auston let out an excited roar then turned to see the Feathered Serpant Dragon shivering nearby, instantly pouncing on it to pin it under its claws.
“Stop, don’t kill it. This is the Feathered Serpent Dragon. I need it.”
“They call this thing a dragon?”
“That’s what the native inhabitants call it.” Muria set down his scepter, the energy in the vein had been exhausted. Only one dragon had been summoned.
“It’s just a winged snake, and these natives dare to call such crap a dragon? They are unreasonable.”
