Chapter 644 - 644 639 Discussing the Logic of Titan
Chapter 644: Chapter 639: Discussing the Logic of Titan Chapter 644: Chapter 639: Discussing the Logic of Titan Muria tore through space, appearing in front of this female Frost Giant. A light golden oppressive aura spread out, filling the entire street. Following the spreading of this aura, the twelve Cloud Giants, who were previously immobile, all regained their mobility.
“Stand back!” Muria commanded softly, waking the twelve Cloud Giants, “This is not something you can handle.”
“Your Majesty!” A cry of astonishment sounded as the twelve Cloud Giants looked upon Muria with sheer delight. They had not expected to see Muria himself, and at such close proximity.
They had joined Xena Pus later. Although due to their progressively stronger physiques, they could indeed perceive the real existence of Muria, they had never truly seen him before.
“Your orders are acknowledged!” The leader of the Cloud Giants quickly composed himself. After a fleeting look at the female Frost Giant lined with fear, he pulled back with all his subordinates.
“I will give you a chance to explain your intentions,” Muria declared, reaching out his hand. The Damo Sword by the female Frost Giant’s side sang out a clear hum and then flew jubilantly into his hands.
Since the woman giant before him had given his subordinates ample time for withdrawal, Muria gives her a chance to explain.
“I am here to seek cooperation with you, Titan!”
“So, this is your way of seeking cooperation?” Muria asked with an expressionless face, “By annihilating my subordinates?”
“To me, they are nothing but ants,” She answered.
“Oh!” Muria nodded, and then the Radiant Spear of the Sun Chaser surfaced.
“If you were provoked by ants, would you not respond? Would you not maintain your dignity?”
“Since when do the strong need to uphold their dignity by slaughtering the weak?” Muria responded indifferently, his Spear of the Sun Chaser transformed into a bunch of thunder. This was the prelude to an attack.
“Titan, can’t you be reasonable? I was the target of twelve Magic Cannons!” The female Frost Giant’s face twisted a bit, a fierce aura materialized around her. According to the faction division among the deities, she was indeed an Evil God.
“You want to reason with me?” An odd look crossed Muria’s face. The one who just called him a Titan, was this impostor disguised as a Frost Giant. Ergo, she wanted to reason with him as a Titan would, thus, Muria nodded his head. There was indeed no reason to deny her.
“Very well!”
Boom——
The air exploded, and in an instant, the thunder that the Spear of the Sun Chaser had turned into, pierced the chest of the female Frost Giant.
“You…” The female Frost Giant lifted her finger towards Muria, her face fixed in shock as the Radiant Golden Thunder burst into light. With a regretful, she then exploded into a spectacular burst of Divine Light that drifted up to the sky, gradually dispersing and leaving behind only the Divine Spear, plunged diagonally into the ground.
“And there she goes.” Muria looked up at the diffusing light, a puzzled look in his eyes, “Such a weak avatar, wanting to reason with me—where did she get that confidence?”
…
“Titan!” Within the boundless Divine Kingdom of Ice and Snow, a goddess sitting on the Throne of Frost roared in fury. With her rage, the entire kingdom shook. The earth below them broke into fractures. Numerous worshipers panicked and kneeled in prayer, praying intensely to quell the goddess’s anger. This was the tragedy of believers, whose lives could be affected by the mood swings of their deity.
“No, the reasoning of the Titan differs from what I said.” After venting a round of her fury, the angry goddess quickly came to a realization- she saw where she had gone wrong.
“So, was I unknowingly declaring a war to a Titan? How foolish of me.” The goddess’s face showed signs of regret. She had gone to seek cooperation and had no ill intentions.
“What shall I do now?” The Goddess was clearly troubled. Her avatar had already been pulverized. If she continues to seek cooperation despite this, wouldn’t she lose face? That would completely tarnish the dignity of a deity.
“As long as the benefits are sufficient, what would a reputation matter?” She suddenly recalled the deeds of her own kind, which instantly made her determined. Compared to those who had no shame at all, submitting to a Titan was no shame at all.
“Let’s dispatch another avatar then. A stronger one this time, one that can’t be blown up with a single hit,” The Goddess swiftly decided. If she could successfully collaborate with this Titan, the potential benefits could vastly outweigh any loss to her reputation. Between reputation and benefits, she chose benefit.
…
“Muria, what just happened? Where is the divine incarnation?” As Muria was deep in thought, ripples appeared in the space beside him, Michaela appeared by his side. She had accompanied Muria down here, her hopeful platinum eyes scanning the area in search of her target.
“I blew it up with a single spear attack.” Muria pointed at the Spear of the Sun Chaser before him, “She wanted to reason with me, so I just let her have it. I don’t know where she got the confidence to negotiate with me, with such weak power.”
“Such a weak incarnation, why would a deity dispatch it? To have you smack it around?” Irvicester also appeared, following close behind.
“She said she wanted to seek cooperation with me,”
“And your response?”
“I saw her trying to harm my Cloud Giants when I arrived, so, I disagreed. She then tried to reason with me.” Muria shrugged his shoulders.
“It is probably just a commonplace avatar. She didn’t have any other intentions. She may just want to reason through words, not through fists.”
“But she referred to me as a Titan,”
“…..” Irvicester was momentarily silent before he finally spoke, “Wait and see! If she indeed sent it to seek cooperation with you, she will come again. The skin of gods is especially thick, especially those of the Evil Gods. She never gives up that easily.”
“Really?” Muria subconsciously touched his chin, “I thought they were quite face-conscious. The slightest offense would lead them to obliterate me.”
“Wait till you encounter more gods, you’ll know then.”
“I believe I have already seen a fair amount.”
“But most of them are long dead,” Irvicester response ended on a melancholic note, “Get ready! I estimate she won’t be the first deity to send an avatar your way.”
“Why are they crowding at me? Am I a delicacy?” Muria sneered, “I definitely will not collaborate with an evil God. That’s my bottom line. Moreover, I already have collaborators. I don’t need more.”
“Their strength is too weak, it’s not enough. You need stronger collaborators.”
“Muria, I also think, if the power backing you up is not strong enough to deter them from taking action, you would already have lost this war. Any deity can easily tip the balance of this war.”
“Then I’ll select another two.” Muria’s eyes reflected a deep thought.
“Absolutely not an Evil god.”
“Of course.”
