Chapter 608 - 608 604 A Weapon That Kills High-level Legends
Chapter 608: Chapter 604: A Weapon That Kills High-level Legends Instantly Chapter 608: Chapter 604: A Weapon That Kills High-level Legends Instantly “Seeing every one of your enemies obliterated, both spiritually and physically, means you have gone undiscovered,” a shameless hybrid unknowingly taught this concept of perfect infiltration to the super void creature he had adopted.
“If no enemy discovers you, it naturally is the most perfect infiltration,” Muria said boldly, then casually erased another airship that appeared within his spirit sense range.
In a certain airspace of the World of Solos, streaks of thunder shooting through the sky brought down all the incoming aircraft, causing the managers of a flight control center on the ground to go from furious to panicked.
Then, a certain Locust Legendary, their so-called god, came to this airspace and found nothing.
All traces had been erased by Muria, and the crystal wall hole that he and Yingdila had entered had already healed itself. The investigating Locust Legendary naturally could not find anything.
Thus, the unexplained disappearance of the aircraft in this area became a mystery that left some Locust People restless. This airspace became a no-fly zone.
The culprit, already accompanied by a fearsome creature, had infiltrated the world and was pondering how to integrate into this civilization, going about his daring idea…
“My research level is still too low,” Muria said as he looked at the Locust People’s fragmented corpse on the stone platform he had hastily prepared. He put down the surgical knife in his hand.
“If I were a traditional mage, at my current level, I could perfectly construct the corresponding transformation magic after dissecting a single Locust Person. Now I’ve nearly dissected ten and only barely understand it,” Muria said, shaking his head humbly.
Muria sighed and then began casting the first transformation magic he had independently researched and created.
Not dazzling, but the spirit light burst from Muria’s human form, turning him into a yellow-shelled six-armed Locust person. The insectoid wings stretched out behind him, the compound eyes on his triangular skull swiveling, causing fear.
“My first serious research of magic is to become this ugly creature, but for world domination, this sacrifice is nothing”. Muria tapped his body, composed of chitinous yellow shell. “I can tolerate it for a while.”
“Or maybe your ability is more convenient, Yingdila, turning into what you eat,” Muria looked at Yingdila who had devoured a female Locust person and perfectly transformed into one. He complimented her, “You are a born assassin and spy. Even if you get exposed, you can fight directly like a warrior.”
“How long do we have to disguise ourselves in this ugly and weak form? Muria, I don’t like this.” Yingdila flexed her newly transformed locust body. She found the mouthparts of this creature were very small and the eating speed was too slow compared to the other forms she could transform into.
“We have to maintain this form for a long time, until the Dragon Princess who will duel me invades this world, suppresses all resistance, and annihilates all the Locust Legends,” Muria patiently explained.
“And you? What will you do? Just infiltrate this world and watch as the princess conquers it, achieving ultimate victory?” Yingdila asked doubtfully. She is not foolish, she just likes to eat. If necessary, she will think.
“Of course not, I’m here to directly win the duel.” Muria temporarily returned to human form, showing his confident smile, “According to Felicia’s duel rules, whoever gets this civilization’s highest ruler, the God King’s Scepter that symbolizes ultimate authority, and the crown embedded with three star nuclei, is considered the victor.”
“So, we’re here to get the scepter and the three-star crown?” Yingdila quickly understood Muria’s thoughts after a quick thought.
“Sure. According to the estimation, the Locust person holding the scepter and the three-star crown should be the strongest one of this civilization. He might have the power of a high-level Legend. It will be almost impossible to silence him.
Normally, to get the scepter and the three-star crown, one could only crush all the forces of this entire civilization, kill him on the battlefield.
The idea of assassination is impossible because someone who can assassinate a high-level Legend would create a noticeable disturbance when breaking the World Barrier and entering the world. So, naturally, assassination is out of the question.
But I have you, Yingdila. Because of your existence, we bypassed the World Barrier, entered without alarming any Locust People. Just need to get close to the highest ruler of the Locust people, kill him, then you devour him…”
Having forgotten what he had just done upon entering the world, Muria envisioned a bright future. He grinned, but Yingdila, who had begun to think, rudely interrupted him.
“I think I understand what you want me to do, but how do you plan to assassinate the potentially strongest Locust person without alarming other Locust Legends? He’s a high-level Legend!”
“I have a way to do that, the only problem now is how to get close to this Locust ruler.” Muria touched his chin. “My idea is to infiltrate the Locust civilization, then gradually get closer to him according to their rules. Do you have any better suggestions, Yingdila?”
“If you can instantly kill that Locust ruler, I have no objections.” The light in Yingdila’s eyes gradually dimmed, realizing that Muria had planned everything, she stopped thinking and returned to her usual silly self who only knew how to eat.
…
“Our timing of entry is very clever!” In a city of Red Locustians, Muria, who had turned into a yellow-shelled locust, was strolling around the city with Yingdila. Most of his attention was on the sky, where there were a variety of aircraft in large numbers.
“This world is undergoing an industrial revolution!” Muria said with certainty, as the Locust People who were piloting these aircraft to try to fly were all ordinary ones with low power.
“That’s interesting. The appearance of the Different World has broadened their horizons. The dividends from the conquest of the Different World have been consumed, so they want more resources? Want to enter the void?”
To add, Muria couldn’t imagine that a race that had already mastered Extraordinary power, could cultivate to Legendary, and was born with the ability to fly, would need to research such an unnecessary toy like aircraft.
