Chapter 605 - 605 601 The Sorrow of the Weak
Chapter 605: Chapter 601: The Sorrow of the Weak Chapter 605: Chapter 601: The Sorrow of the Weak “Yes, great god of the void! We are the original inhabitants of this world, and those demons…” After sensing Muria’s peaceful and seemingly benevolent mental power fluctuations, the leader of the resistance force from this world began to accuse the Locust People of evil, referring to them as demons.
In response, Muria showed neither approval nor disapproval. If it was indeed a demonic invasion, either an epic would descend, sweeping everything away, or without an epic, three hundred years would have been more than enough for this world to fall into despair and everything to be annihilated; the entire world would sink into the Abyss.
“I am not a god.” After listening to the accusations of the resistance leader, Muria spoke, first rejecting their title for him. His power was still far from reaching that of a god, especially the Nine Herders’ god.
“Your power is sufficient to rival that of the powerful evil god, the God of Black Brilliance.”
“Comparable to me?” Muria shook his head with a smile, “If he was truly comparable to me, he should have appeared before me by now. My arrival was hardly quiet.”
This is the narrow-mindedness of the weak. Unable to comprehend powerful beings beyond their understanding, they refer to them as gods — a sight truly eliciting sympathy and pity.
“The God of Black Brilliance, afraid of you?” The leader of the White Moth people understood what Muria meant. His eyes first flashed with bewilderment, followed by joy, and then determination.
“Great King of the Void, I beg you to help us, the White Moth People, drive out these Black Locust Demons. If you are willing to lead us in reclaiming the world, we the White Moth people are willing to serve you for generations to come!”
“Very determined. However, as far as I can see, your race, other than being pleasing to the eye, seems to have no other meaningful value. You are too weak.” Muria spoke in a manner that could incite anger, but regretfully, it was the truth.
Muria really didn’t hold these creatures in high regard. Apart from being pleasing to the eye, they were really good for nothing. Yet in his legion, they were many attractive entities; for instance, the Elven Legion, who were not only visually pleasing but also combat capable. Only creatures that balanced beauty and power were worthy of becoming Muria’s minions.
“Great King of the Void, I beg for your mercy!” All of the White Moth people knelt on the ground, hoping to elicit Muria’s sympathy with the humblest of postures.
They had long realized that without external help, they would not be able to reclaim the world by themselves. They were merely surviving amidst despair.
“Don’t be nervous. I am not an evil being, nor will I kill at will.” Muria gave a smile. Perhaps because of their humanoid faces, the White Moth people understood what the change in Muria’s facial muscles indicated- the powerful existence was smiling.
“It’s just that I feel you are not qualified to follow me. I will expel the intruders from this world and return it into your hands,” The words of Muria made the worship of the White Moth people even more intense, filling them with reverence and self-deprecation.
“That’s why I came here.” Muria spoke with a solemn and majestic demeanor. He had already planned the future of these White Moth people in his heart. They would exist as keepers of the world under his control, for the world’s innate disposition was to be close to them and reject outsiders like him.
“Prince Mureya!” A fierce green dragon descended from the Sky Dome, looked at the trembling White Moth people, then crawled at Muria’s feet and lowered its head. Behind her, a fully formed Void Fleet was entering the world.
With the arrival of the fleet, as many as twenty-seven Banshee Scout Ships gradually disappeared from the visible range of the naked eye. They went to various parts of the world to scout.
At the same time, one giant after another, along with their war pets, flew out from the ships. Because their strength was weaker than Muria’s, the pressure they experienced was minimal. Their appearance shocked the White Moth people immensely.
“These are the minions of the King of the Void?” All the White Moth people were looking up at the sky in a stupor, absorbed in shock. Only a very few with strong will could maintain a clear mind.
“No wonder he rejected our offer to follow him. Any one of his minions could wipe us out!” The leader of the White Moth people looked up at the sky.
Cloud Giants with snow-white skin trod on the air. Three to four Dragonized Griffins accompanied each Cloud Giant. Some Giants even had one or two Dragon Huge Wolves. These powerful giants filled the White Moth people with awe. Such powerful beings continued to emerge from those marvelous metal creatures, as if they were endless.
Mountain Giants, capable of manipulating Earth Elementals, arrived. They couldn’t wait to jump down from the transport ships and land on the ground, starting communication with the Earth and earth elementals.
Next came the even more powerful Storm Giants. The first to descend from the central Hydra Void Battleship on the back of a Giant Peng was a Storm Giant which shocked even the most resolute White Moth people. Perhaps they wouldn’t if these beings had appeared individually, but appearing in groups, these guys were stunned. Their narrow view simply couldn’t comprehend how such powerful entities could gather together.
…
While Muria was talking to the White Moth people in the central part of the world, the Black Brilliance City, home to three hundred thousand Black Locust people, was in a panic. The strongest of the Locust Civilization assigned to this world was a Legendary Locust called Sabah, who styled itself as the God of Black Brilliance.
When Muria descended, Sabah had sensed it, but that intense palpitation had left it without the courage to investigate. Then, with the arrival of Muria’s fleet, Sabah, not understanding what had happened but with intensified palpitations, immediately asked the Mother World for help, sent out the highest level of distress signals and convened all the legions in the world. Only then did Sabah’s palpitations gradually recede.
…
“Having given him so much time for reinforcements, the Legendary Locust of the Solos Civilization should have arrived, right?”
Muria looked in the direction of the world’s center, where a violent yet dead aura emanated. This was an aura emitted by a legend.
“Just not sure how many legendary locusts have come to aid? I really look forward to it!”
“Advance to the center of the world, it is time to uphold justice and give these despicable invaders the punishment they deserve.”
Muria shouted something he didn’t even believe himself, leading his mighty fleet and Giant Legion procession towards the center of the world. Along the way, groups of Cloud Giants descended one after another, starting to suppress Black Locust cities in an orderly manner.
