King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 576 - 576 572 The Torn Wings
Chapter 576: Chapter 572: The Torn Wings Chapter 576: Chapter 572: The Torn Wings “The Blazing Sky God Descendant is fighting that Titan, should we help?”
“Help who?” A handsome angel of holy light glanced at his companion as if looking at an idiot.
“Of course the Blazing Sky God Descendant!” A female angel of holy light with a fine appearance and temperament said with a love-struck face. The Blazing Sky God Descendant had an unusual attraction to angels because the race of angels was created by imitating the Blazing Sky God Race.
“If you want to die, go ahead! I won’t stop you, but don’t drag us with you.” Another angel of holy light spoke up.
“With our strength, if we’re hit by the ripple of their collision, there’s a possibility of getting blown apart. So we should just watch from here. When a Titan and a Blazing Sky God Descendant fight, what does it have to do with a group of small angels like us?”
“Should we do nothing?” The female angel of holy light hesitated, “isn’t this wrong?”
“What’s wrong with that?” One of the angel of holy light retorted. “Is the Titan fighting with the Blazing Sky God Descendant evil?”
“No.”
“Then there you go, hide and watch the battle like those giant dragons.”
…
The battle between Muria and the Blazing Sky God Descendant was too terrifying, and their battlefield was a relatively enclosed semi-plane. So the beings inside the semi-plane, as long as they had a bit of strength, could feel it.
Including those nobles who had come to hunt, those with large courage headed towards the battlefield, while those with less courage ran in the opposite direction. Even the Overlord-level Creature, Insect Lord dwelling in the semi-plane was awoken and sneaked in.
However, even if these guys made it to the edge of the battlefield, they could only see a brilliant white semi-circle on the ground. What they felt were thrilling waves of combat spreading from it. Other than that, they could see nothing.
“What’s the situation inside the battle? I can’t see anything!” The Dragon Princess Felicia frowned, looking worriedly at the semi-circle in front of her.
“Princess, that Titan came looking for trouble with you!” Seeing the worried expression on Felicia’s face, Ling, who had turned into a blue-haired female servant, had to remind her.
“I know, I stole the dragon he had raised! No worries, I will give the dragon back to him, and the trouble will be gone, right?” The Dragon Princess Felicia’s blue diamond eyes rolled around, seemingly thinking about something interesting.
“Hybrid…” Seventh Princess Gladys, who was also watching the battle on the side, had a look of struggle and complexity on her face. This was far from her initial assumption. The princess was so confused that she hardly noticed the nobles around her.
…
The external chaos didn’t concern Muria, as it wouldn’t interfere with his battle with Eleusis.
“What’s with the surprised look on your face?” Muria held the Spear of the Sun Chaser, the other end of the spear was deeply embedded in Eleusis’s abdomen. The armor on his body was riddled with slash scars, almost at its limit, so it couldn’t defend against Muria’s straightforward stab.
In comparison, Muria’s Saintly Imperial Abyss was in a much better state, despite being damaged with some dents, it was still much better than the ragged armor on the Blazing Sky God Descendant.
“Where did you get all these legendary weapons? You’re just a hybrid, why do you get them?” A look of resentment appeared on Eleusis’s face, “This is too unfair.”
“As my enemy, are you talking about fairness with me?” Muria let go of the Spear of the Sun Chaser, and opened his hand. The Prison-suppression Halberd, which he had just let go of during a collision, flew back and instantly landed in his hand.
“Clang!” With a sweep of the Prison-suppression halberd, the armor on Eleusis’s body, which had been chopped into a mess by Muria and pierced by Mu Rui’s Spear of the Sun Chaser, immediately changed color. He stretched out his arm and blocked the edge of the Prison-suppression halberd with the bracer on his hand.
After the strike, Eleusis only felt as if his arm had exploded. In fact, it did. Countless cracks opened up in the skin of his arm, and light gold blood mist overflowed from it, looking quite dismal.
“Bang!” As Eleusis blocked this blow, Muria took the Army-breaking Halberd in his other hand and slammed it down on his head, but it unfortunately was blocked by his Radiant Rainbow Legendary Spear. However, Muria’s tail swung out, a foot kicked up and landed on Eleusis simultaneously.
Next, Eleusis took flight. As he was within his Domain, under the augmented situation, he was kicked by Muria. The light gold blood mist spread out in the air, looking extremely miserable.
However, soon after, in the earth covered by his domain, specks of spirit light glowed, then fell into his body, healing the injuries inflicted by Muria at a rapid pace.
“Hmph!” When the Blazing Sky God Descendant tried to pull the searing Spear of the Sun Chaser from his chest, he let out an exceedingly pained grunt, unable to remove it. Titan’s exclusive weapons, without the owner’s permission, couldn’t be moved by anybody, unless they could be destroyed.
“I sense it, the divine power of Law!” sensing the agony tearing through his abdomen, Eleusis, who had seemingly given up on touching the Sun Chaser Spear, looked at Muria, his eyes becoming profound. “Is this your reason for standing up against me?”
“No, it’s just one of the reasons I can overpower you.” Muria corrected him.
“See a true display of my power, hybrid Titan!” Blazing white holy flames enveloped Eleusis, his wings igniting, and his figure started to become light itself. A sacred aura filled the area, and the searing Sun Chaser Spear embedded in his abdomen was slowly forced out, eventually landing in Muria’s palm with a regretful hum.
“Looks good, doesn’t it?” Muria chuckled, his golden pupils becoming even more radiant, surrounded by lightning and storm, the mighty Dragon Flames burning on each of his weapons.
“Boom!” “Boom!” …As soon as Muria finished speaking, his gigantic figure turned into a golden rainbow colliding with the white rainbow formed by the Blazing Sky God Descendant. They tussled endlessly, creating a thunderous roar with every collision.
Great battles set massive waves of energy in motion. The Insect Lord, which initially wanted to seize the opportunity, retreated quietly again, taking its aura with it, after sensing the terrifying fluctuation.
“Argh!” A furious roar resonated, and a light gold rain of blood fell within Eleusis’s opened battle domain, making the holy aura inside even more potent, completely reducing any lower-ranking evil creatures that entered to ashes.
“You lost! Eleusis, looks like your bloodline is not pure. As far as I know, the bloodline of the Blazing Ancient God is not weaker than any other.” Muria teased amidst their fierce collisions as he felt blood churning and a prickling sensation spreading throughout his body. The face of the Blazing Sky God Descendant across him was grim as Muria chopped off one of his arms, turning it into a blood mist.
“You merely rely on external sources.” Eleusis bitterly spoke out. After a forceful blast failed to take down Muria, his power declined sharply, and Muria seized the opportunity to chop off his arm— an unprecedented heavy blow for him.
“It appears you don’t admit defeat yet. Let me see how much you can say when I cut off your head.” The Dragon Wings behind Muria fluttered as he surged towards Eleusis, who was regenerating his arm. The Star Cloud Chain within Muria’s body began to stir.
“Damn it!” Eleusis, whose arm had not fully regenerated, was fully suppressed by Muria after ten bouts of combat. His Legendary Spear was even knocked out of his hand by Muria, leaving him weaponless against Muria’s exclusive weapons.
“You’ve lost your weapon.” Muria laughed heartily, chopping off another one of Eleusis’s arms, then kicked him in the chest, forming a massive circular crater.
“Eleusis, considering how miserable you are, I won’t use weapons to bully you,” Muria landed on the ground, smiling warmly. He discarded the Prison-suppression Halberd and Army-breaking Halberd, flexed his hands, and walked towards Eleusis, who was staggering out of the crater. His regeneration seemed to accelerate and quickly took form.
“Swish!” Star Cloud Chain emerged from Muria’s body, attempting to bind Eleusis tightly. However, the Blazing Sky God Descendant still had some energy left; the Star Cloud Chain was unable to land on him.
But that was until Muria’s fist landed on his face like a thunderstorm, knocking him over, then the Star Cloud Chain swiftly bound him tightly. The chaining power now began to operate on him.
“Hang him up for me!” Muria ordered.
The Star Cloud Chain jingled, hoisting up the utterly defeated Blazing Sky God Descendant, hanging him in front of Muria.
“So? Eleusis, am I, the hybrid, now qualified to pursue Michaela?”
“Mixed…”
“Bang!” Before he could finish, Muria, wearing his Saintly Imperial Abyss armor, landed a fist as big as a small house on his face. The jarring sound of bones cracking echoed, and light gold blood splattered…
“You… unworthy…”
“That’s not the answer I wanted to hear, you defeated dog!” Muria’s gaze turned icy cold as it landed on his wings. “I don’t understand, as a loser, what gives you the arrogance to look down on me? Is it the eight wings behind your back?”
“Rip!” The sound of flesh being torn apart echoed, deep pain spreading from his back had Eleusis howling in agony. Muria ruthlessly ripped off a pair of his wings.
“Young man, you have won, there is no need to further humiliate your opponent, it only shows your disrespect for yourself.” A grand voice exploded in Muria’s ears.
“I think that’s not enough!” Muria lifted his head to the sky, on the collapsing Blazing Sky Domain above he saw a giant hand spanning the gap…
