Chapter 484 - 484 480 The Pitiful Calamity Dragon
Chapter 484: Chapter 480: The Pitiful Calamity Dragon Chapter 484: Chapter 480: The Pitiful Calamity Dragon “Caw, caw, caw!” Hearing Muria agree to visit its lair, the decaying Calamity Dragon immediately broke into an excited laugh. “Follow me, mighty Sorcerer.”
A Calamity Dragon, in the midst of transforming itself into a Lich Dragon, and with its power at the Soul Intent fourth tier. In its carefully arranged lair, riddled with many traps and defenses, it dared to take on even human legends, though only from races as lowly as the human race.
So Muria, leading a Legendary Balrog Flame Demon, showed no sign of fear. He followed with his demon servants, deciding first to see what treasure the dragon collected before deciding whether to make a move.
“Diablo, please come in!” The Calamity Dragon stood at the gates of its Black Castle, a strong aura of death emanating from it. After glancing at Muria, it stepped inside.
Muria glanced at the undead creatures perched on the castle, greedily staring down at him. He nonchalantly smiled. They were just the undead after all.
“Welcome to Withered Castle, Diablo. You are the third living creature to boldly enter this castle since its establishment.”
“Oh, is that so? I feel honored then!” Mounting his Blood Lion Demon, Muria remained composed. He surveyed the interior décor of the castle. Like many who study Undead Magic, the Calamity dragon’s aesthetic sensibilities had become completely twisted.
Although the castle was still predominantly stone, and seemed only gloomy from the outside, after stepping inside, one would find the interior filled with bizarre decorations made primarily from corpses.
Or perhaps it would be more accurate to say that these were not merely decorations, but rather numerous undead guards placed here by the Calamity Dragon.
“What do you think of my castle?”
“Apart from the undead, who do you suppose would appreciate your death-filled castle?” Muria retorted.
“How unfortunate. I thought that a sorcerer as powerful as you would be a little different.” The Calamity Dragon greedily eyed the Blood Lion Demon under Muria, its energy radiant, like a volcano about to erupt.
“Stop wasting my time, show me your collection. If it’s fitting, I might consider trading with you.” Muria displayed his discontent. The six fireballs transformed by the Flame Demon around him expanded a circle, spreading an evil, yet blazing spirit aura.
“Caw, caw, caw! So this is the inside of my castle, and you still want to trade with me. Are you truly confident in your strength? Do you think you are a legend?” The rotten-winged Morgan laughed wildly with unadulterated arrogance, mocking Muria extensively.
“Such an annoying voice. Can you shut up?” Muria looked at the Calamity Dragon in front of him, who was doing nothing to conceal its malice. His expression remained calm, even though he could already see high-level undead pouring out from all corners of the castle.
“Foolish sorcerer, haven’t you realized what’s happening yet? This is my lair. The two guys before you, just as arrogant as you, have been turned into soul-intent-level undead by me.”
“Did I not tell you to shut up? Didn’t you hear?” Muria removed his hood, his face still bearing a hint of boyish charm. Beneath the impassive look on his handsome face, he said, “Broken Horn.”
Having heard Muria’s instruction, the Balrog Flame Demon walking into Rotted Castle with him raised his fists. He then thrust his fist forward directly, transforming his hot fighting spirit into a rainbow that landed straight on the laughing Calamity Dragon.
“Leg…” Morgan, the rot-winged dragon, watched as the unassuming man behind Muria was covered in red magic patterns, then the power of his fists transformed into a rainbow aimed directly at him. He had no time to dodge or even the ability to.
“Boom!” The fiery fighting spirit instantly penetrated the relatively fragile body of the Calamity Dragon. Continuing unabated, it struck the wall behind the dragon. The light of the Defensive Array materialized and then collapsed in less than a breath’s time.
Withered Castle trembled, as if on the verge of collapse. Countless Magic Arrays shattered under the force of that punch. A hole appeared in the chest and stomach of Morgan, the rotten-winged dragon, stinking as if rotting meat was being grilled.
“You own a legendary demon servant? That’s impossible! You haven’t progressed to legend rank. It’s impossible!” The calamity dragon roared in disbelief, unaffected by his injuries.
“You’re already half undead.” Looking at the calamity dragon, oozing putrid black blood, Muria shook his head. He felt somewhat disappointed in this dragon’s choice. Abandoning the naturally powerful body of a dragon to become one of the undead seemed like a stupid choice no matter how you looked at it.
“Master, it was my mistake. Please give me a moment.” Seeing the calamity dragon’s Morgan as lively as ever, Broken Horn’s face darkened.
“Okay, go easy on it this time. Destroying half of its body will do, just don’t kill it.” Muria reminded him.
“Understood.” Broken Horn, sporting a fiendish smile, leaped off the back of the Blood Lion Demon and walked toward the calamity dragon. His body bulging, his enormous demonic wings expanded.
“A Legendary Balrog Flame Demon?” Morgan, the calamity dragon, was stunned by the demon who could wreak havoc even in the Abyss. Naturally, his face showed fear. He commanded all the undead under his control, “Attack! Hold him back!”
“Ganging up on us? Now that won’t do. A fair one-to-one fight is the way it should be.” Muria’s face broke into a light smile.
The Blood Lion roared, Flame Demon bellowed and the black-haired, black-eyed young man summoned all his demon servants to block the high-level undead pouring in from all corners of the castle, allowing Morgan to have a fair duel with Broken Horn.
The calamity dragon, Morgan was a dragon species, not adept at close combat. Meanwhile, Broken Horn was a Balrog Flame Demon specialized in close combat, whose power outstripped Morgan’s by one whole rank. This was a “fair” competition.
Unsurprisingly, all of Morgan’s limbs, tail, and wings were torn asunder by Broken Horn. Even his lower jaw was forcibly broken off and then presented to Muria.
“Who are you exactly? Owning this many demon servants; there’s no way I’ve not heard of you!” The calamity dragon Morgan refused to accept his fate, staring at Muria. He had been under the impression that Muria was just some unknown entity, coupled with the fact he had used a secret treasure to assess Muria’s strength and cultivation level. Only then did he entertain the idea of making a move.
“But you haven’t heard of me.” Muria looked down at Morgan. “Have you any last words? If not, I shall send you on your way.”
“You can’t kill me!”
“Reason?”
“I am the student of the Legendary Lich Grifitz.”
“Oh.”
“He is a full member of the Undead Council.” Seeing Muria’s indifferent reaction, the calamity dragon quickly added the affiliation of his teacher.
