Chapter 326 - 326 321 The Arrogant Old Dragon
Chapter 326: Chapter 321: The Arrogant Old Dragon Chapter 326: Chapter 321: The Arrogant Old Dragon “Out of my way, inferior creatures!” The nearly hundred-meter-long Red Dragon, Otlis, revealed his true form upon noticing his party being surrounded by flying dragons, scorpion lions, harpies, and other monsters. He roared, spreading his overwhelming Dragon Prestige.
In an instant, some weaker flying monsters fell from the sky like raindrops, their bones crushed. Unable to withstand the might of a Soul Peak Red Dragon, their limbs became paralyzed, unable to maintain their flight.
“Mighty Red Dragon, we are minions of Lady Bronia.” A cautious sub-dragon with diverse-colored scales started to speak after eyeing the weaker creatures crashing down.
“Inferior creature, you are not qualified to speak to me.” The Red Dragon Otlis spoke with disdain. “Summon a real Giant Dragon.”
The harsh words from the powerful Red Dragon gritted the multicolored sub-dragon’s claws; though it was filled with resentment, it had to maintain enough respect on the surface. That’s how it was for the weak when facing the strong.
“Please wait, mighty Red Dragon.” The multicolored sub-dragon swallowed its anger and flew towards the distant monster camp. It intended to call for a genuinely powerful Pure Blood Giant Dragon.
“… What brings you here?” Soon, a Soul Intent-level Blue Dragon with a group of blue-scaled sub-dragons flew over to replace the encirclement of monsters around Muria’s group, “Have you come to join Lady Bronia?”
“Heh!” The Red Dragon Otlis issued a cold laugh upon hearing the old Blue Dragon’s words. If he had not met Muria before this, he would have considered surrendering his freedom and following an Ancient Red Dragon when faced with an invincible force.
But now, with a Dragon King descendant of infinite potential on one side and a nearly drained of all potential Ancient Red Dragon who had been invaded and attacked by humans on the other, whose side should he choose?
“We are looking for Renata Igneel.” The Red Dragon Otlis looked down on the Blue Dragon, smaller by comparison. This Blue Dragon made Otlis feel superior once again.
“Renata Igneel?” The Soul Intent Blue Dragon’s eyes narrowed at the mention of the young dragon’s name.
“Looks like you know where she is.” Noticing the shift in the Blue Dragon’s eyes, Otlis gave a slight grin, displaying his sharp, white dragon teeth. His hot breath wafted onto the Blue Dragon’s bone-textured armor.
“Red Dragon, what business do you have with Renata?” The Blue Dragon, bearing the smell of strong sulfur, suppressed its rage and withdrew slightly, flapping its wings.
In the eyes of the old Blue Dragon, the scene consisted of more than just the arrogant Red Dragon. It saw a couple of teal-blue haired men and women behind it. More importantly, it saw a young boy sleeping on top of a two-winged white tiger.
Observing their positions, behavior, eye contact, and movements, the old Blue Dragon could ascertain that this brash Red Dragon was not the one in charge. The young boy behind him seemed to be the boss.
While the old Blue Dragon was secretly observing Muria, Muria raised his head and met the dragon’s gaze, sensing its intrusive stare.
“Roar!” When the old Blue Dragon saw Muria’s dazzling golden eyes, a jolting feeling passed through its body, causing it to let out an involuntary growl. It saw within Muria’s eyes a world, a world filled with thunder, flames, and hurricanes.
Through a mutual gaze, she could identify this was a boss she couldn’t afford to provoke, a persona far more terrifying than the arrogant Red Dragon before her eyes.
“Hehe!” Seeing the reaction of the Old Blue Dragon after spying on Muria, Otlis couldn’t help but laugh gleefully. He knew how terrifying Muria was.
After swallowing the Elemental Heart, this descendant of the Dragon King could no longer properly control the continuously growing power within his body. Hence, anyone confronting him would feel the three strands of bone-chilling power emanating from his body.
“It’s just His Majesty who wants to see Renata. What he wants to do with her is none of your business,” Otlis said to the trembling Old Blue Dragon, “Just take us to her.”
“Okay.” The old blue dragon pushed down his shaking claws and after a slight ponder, he agreed to lead these dragons of seemingly extraordinary backgrounds to Renata. Whether they came with good or bad intentions did not matter to him as it was not aimed at him.
If possible, the old blue dragon hoped that these dragons arrived with ill intentions so they could kill Renata, the young Red Dragon who betrayed her brother for glory. She held too much power, which sparked envy among the dragons.
…”Muria.” As the old blue dragon was leading Muria and others flying over a seemingly infinite horde of monsters to meet Renata, a cry filled with delight erupted in the mid-air.
“Hm!” Hearing the familiar voice, Muria sat up from Troy’s back, yawning. Opening her eyes with difficulty, she immediately saw five dragons – one red, one blue, one green and two black – flying towards her.
Those were the giant dragons whom his mother, the Golden Dragon Mother had banished to this subcontinent, they were all here except for Auston.
Renata, the small mother dragon he was very familiar with, was leading the group. She had noticed his arrival and specifically came to welcome him. Her feelings for Muria have never changed.
“Ignell Leader, I have brought the dragon you wanted to see, I will take my leave now.” Seeing Renata’s attitudes and expressions, the Old Red Dragon realized that his wish won’t be realized, and his mood instantly soured. He greeted Renata with a weird voice and prepared to leave with his minions.
“Blue Skin, is this how you talk to a leader?” Just as the Blue Dragon wanted to leave, a dragon claw with brilliant red scales grasped his tail. When he turned around, he saw the chilling grin of Otlis.
“Let me go, Red Dragon.” Such an insolent action instantly angered the old Blue Dragon. Five Colored Dragons basically had bad tempers, especially here on his own turf where monsters at his beck and call were present everywhere. He didn’t fear this Red Dragon who was two tiers stronger than him.
“Hey!” Seeing the Blue Dragon seemingly wanting to fight him, the Red Dragon, who had already caught the tail of the Blue Dragon, leered. The forty Soul Intent Circles behind him flashed and disappeared.
“Boom!” The Blue Dragon, which was almost eighty meters long, was lifted by Otlis and smashed into the ground. Flesh flew everywhere, and the force of the collision was so great that the Blue Dragon wasn’t bleeding, as the scattered flesh was from the monsters under the Blue Dragon’s impact.
“Crackling!” Dense lightning flashed over the Blue Dragon’s body indicating his anger. But before he could make a counterattack, Otlis’s tail swept across the Blue Dragon’s body.
Sky-blue scales attached with electric arcs splashed out. Caught off guard, the Blue Dragon thick in the earth was suddenly turned over by the Red Dragon.
