King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 1275 - 1275 1261 Power of Ten Thousand Soldiers
Chapter 1275: Chapter 1261: Power of Ten Thousand Soldiers Chapter 1275: Chapter 1261: Power of Ten Thousand Soldiers “Hmph!”
Facing Muria’s questioning and personally deeming it disgraceful to strike at weaklings, the Evil God coldly snorted without response. If it weren’t for the lack of capable legions under His command, He wouldn’t have stooped to such a deprecating act.
But now was not the time to worry about losing face; if He were to simply watch this giant’s legions sweep His divine kingdom, He might as well prepare to enter eternal sleep once again.
Thus, no longer willing to face the darkness of eternal sleep and uncertain of when He might awaken again, the Evil God mobilized His true form, channeling all His accumulated divine power into His divine body.
Then, under the watchful gaze of Muria’s furious Dazzling Golden Eyes, a faceless giant appeared, shrouded in pale divine power. A fear domain of a divine level also emerged with Him, becoming even more terrifying with the enhancement of the divine kingdom.
However, under the protection of Muria’s power, his legion remained unaffected, neither physically nor mentally disturbed by the fear domain.
At this moment, within the divine kingdom, the monsters continuously summoned by the Evil God directly received the empowerment of the fear domain, gaining several abilities and enhanced strength, albeit temporarily; but it was enough for them to temporarily hold off the giant’s legion.
“You’ve finally shown yourself; I’ve been waiting for quite some time.”
Seeing significant casualties in his own legion and feeling soured, Muria cracked a smile, his hand pointing the Prison-suppression halberd toward this faceless deity.
“O Divine Being who manipulates the hearts of creatures through fear and draws strength from it, will you fight?”
“I won’t disappoint you, heretic!”
The questioned Evil God snorted coldly, and a bone spear with sharp ends on both sides appeared in His pale hand, resembling more the claw of an animal, with gloomy divine power flowing through it.
“Then let us begin.”
The power of Ten Thousand Soldiers descended from the sky along with Titan swinging his battle halberd at the Evil God. For a moment, it appeared as if the Evil God’s realm itself was repelling Him.
But in the next instant, the power of Ten Thousand Soldiers vanished in mid-air, seemingly declaring to the one who unleashed them who truly was the master of this divine fruit. Yet, the Evil God, who lifted his special weapon with slender arms to block the Prison-suppression halberd, was not pleased by this.
For these thunders were not deliberately produced by the giant before Him, but naturally descended from the sky as he swung his halberd. This indicated that His divine kingdom was severely eroded by the presence of the entity before Him.
“Not bad, but still not enough.”
With only a single hand on his halberd, Muria forced the Evil God to defend with both hands, showing a disdainful smile. In terms of sheer power, his Titan True Form completely overwhelmed the opposing deity.
But that was not enough. In battles of this epic divine level, mere strength couldn’t determine victory; laws were the key. Whoever could crush the opponent’s body with their own laws, consigning them to eternal sleep, would truly be victorious.
In this regard, Muria was not lacking either; in terms of laws, deities were generally specialists, the laws they could master were determined by their divine duties, and they had almost no choice in the matter.
However, epics were generally hexagonal, without any weak spots, so no matter what kind of enemy they faced, they wouldn’t show overt weaknesses, nor could they be quickly defeated even if at a disadvantage.
Boom!!!
Golden flames appeared at the point of impact between the two divine artifacts, then exploded, the fire rapidly expanding into a dazzling golden fireball, the blast of fire spreading outwards.
And at the center of the flames, everything was obliterated by the sudden appearance of the fireball, even the divine being’s bone spear damaged and marked with unsightly scorched traces.
“The power of the sun!”
The slim-limbed, emaciated Evil God raised his weapon, his faceless head showed no emotion, but one could tell he had become more cautious.
“I had a sudden idea to mimic a sun explosion, don’t mind it,” he said.
Having already retreated and created some distance, Muria extended his right hand, and the Spear of the Sun Chaser, now transformed into a bundle of Golden Thunder, appeared, and then, in a next moment, he hurled the Spear of the Sun Chaser.
The long spear, imbued with the power of absolute law, did not give the Evil God any chance to dodge and pierced through his body, but it appeared that because the Evil God had seen the characteristics of the Spear of the Sun Chaser, only his abdomen was pierced, temporarily not affecting his ability to fight.
“You…”
The Evil God, who had taken a hit, prepared to suppress the enemy’s weapon with his body. If he could push back his opponent, perhaps it wouldn’t be long before he could claim a nicely attributed weapon for himself.
However, to his astonishment, the giant across from him drew another weapon and lunged at him… During the lengthy period, which Muria had lost track of, he had enjoyed battering the Evil God with all his weapons, leaving him extremely pleased, body and soul.
“Alright, I’ve had enough fun, we can end this now,” he declared.
Muria looked at the deity opposite him, who now looked rather disheveled with numerous injuries on his body, and a radiant smile appeared on Muria’s face.
“What are you talking about?” the True God, his body eroded by the law and unable to heal, asked bitterly.
“Can’t understand? I’m getting serious now,” Muria said sternly.
“You were just playing?”
“What else? You think someone weak and sickly like you can compete with me? What a joke, you really underestimate me,” Muria said, frowning and clearly displeased.
“Bastard.” The deity raged, divine power boiling, the earth quaked, and the sky turned completely dark. He could not bear such humiliation.
“Watch closely, I’m using a move called Power of Ten Thousand Soldiers for the first time. I don’t know how powerful it is, try to withstand a few moves, and I can adjust accordingly.”
Around Muria, radiant starlight sparked on each of his minions above Soul Intent Level, and in the next instant, these lights streaked across the sky, leaving radiant trails, before converging onto Muria.
…
“Milord, has this Evil God fallen?”
In the Divine Kingdom strewn with corpses, the Ancient Red Dragon Renata flew beside Muria and solemnly asked while looking up at the towering Titan before her.
“We can only say that he has temporarily lost the ability to move; gods are very hard to completely annihilate,” Muria responded mildly when he heard the young female dragon’s question.
Theoretically, after successfully becoming a deity, the divine name’s mark is engraved into the source of the world. Even if one’s divine kingdom is breached, one’s body destroyed, and one’s church laid to ruin, as long as the divine name exists, and there are still believers, then a deity might return from eternal sleep.
Of course, the probability of a resurrection for a deity who fell due to external forces is very low, but such a possibility always exists. To fully negate a deity’s hope of resurrection without giving them a chance to rise from their coffins is quite difficult.
The most straightforward way is to directly destroy the world where they became gods, the place where their true spirit rests. If that place is destroyed, then there will never be a possibility of resurrection, but it’s nearly impossible to destroy a large world, let alone a medium-sized one.
Another way is for the deity themselves to court disaster, provoke the World Will, and then be completely erased by the world along with all associated marks. Like that unknown divine being in Elasia who killed a Land Emperor Turtle, but such fools are rare.
Of course, there’s another most effective method. Once a deity perishes, their divine position becomes vacant. If another being aims to ascend to godhood with that position in mind, then the likelihood of the fallen god’s resurrection is nearly zero. Even if they are resurrected by some stroke of luck, they would be just a weak god without any real power.
