Chapter 1273 - 1273 1259 How Much Can You Withstand

Chapter 1273: Chapter 1259: How Much Can You Withstand? Chapter 1273: Chapter 1259: How Much Can You Withstand? Tick-tock!

Tainted Demonic Blood splattered on the ground like a mere drop of ordinary ink. It did not corrode the surface, but black and golden mist rose up. This mist fell into the wounds of the Evil God’s Avatar’s severed palm and then, the wounds healed, restored to their original state.

“Not bad, you actually managed to hurt me.” The Evil God looked at Muria, who held the Sharp Blade, with eyes filled with surprise and admiration, a scenario far beyond his expectations.

Even as an avatar, being injured by beings lesser than a Deity was simply inconceivable.

“You’re not too bad yourself, sustaining only such minor damage; you are stronger than I imagined,” Muria said, also with eyes of astonishment, looking at this humanoid monster. He had intended to split him in half with the Seven Sins Blade, but the result was quite different from what he had anticipated.

“Crude and laughable, you truly do not understand what you are up against. You will soon know what it means to provoke me; death will be a luxury for you.”

“A good fight, so why all this nonsense?” Muria gripped the Seven Sins Blade and struck down again, “If you don’t want to fight, then just stand still, let me kill you, and then find the path to your Divine Kingdom.”

“My Divine Kingdom?” Hearing Muria’s words, the enraged Evil God paused, then burst out laughing, “It seems you are not entirely ignorant about Deities; you even know about the Divine Kingdom. All that you have done in this land was to attract my attention, to descend an avatar, and thus find a shortcut to my Divine Kingdom?”

“Seeing that,” in Muria’s astonished gaze, the Evil God’s Avatar’s body began to dissolve, Space twisted, and the tainted black earth appeared. Huge Demon Beasts could be seen sleeping on this land, their exhaled breath forming a foul-smelling hurricane, “then come on in!”

“Has the Divine Kingdom passageway opened already? That Evil God is too careless!” At that moment, the belated Ancient Red Dragon Auston arrived at the scene. When he saw the twisted Space before Muria, he was immediately astonished.

“He is very cautious; for a Deity, if they can disregard the losses from a battle, then the Divine Kingdom is indeed the best battlefield for a Deity,”

Muria whispered, looking at the Divine Kingdom passageway that had appeared so easily before him.

“Should we still go in?” Auston looked at the Divine Kingdom passageway, asking with a grim face.

Although he followed Muria with a demeanor that disregarded the gods, acting as if he could become a god at any moment, when it actually came to fighting a Deity in their Divine Kingdom, Auston chickened out.

Because even if it was a Deity not specialized in souls, playing tricks on a mortal’s soul was very simple, and death for the gods was not an end but merely a beginning.

“Of course we should go in; I came here to hunt gods, didn’t I? Now the opportunity is right before me.”

Muria chuckled lightly, then stepped into the Evil God’s realm, holding the Straight Sword Style Seven Sins Blade. Seeing Muria’s decisiveness, Auston gritted his teeth and followed him.

He believed that even if Muria couldn’t overpower this Evil God in the Divine Kingdom, carrying him in strategic retreat wouldn’t be a problem. But he forgot one thing.

In the Divine Kingdom, the Deity is the supreme ruler; if they cannot dominate the Deity in a frontal battle, then once they are at a disadvantage, escaping should not even be considered.

A foul wind capable of shredding souls and draining vital energy swept over the desolate plain when Muria stepped into the realm of the Evil God. What he saw was a world that seemed to have endured an apocalyptic catastrophe.

For a deity, even an Evil God, such a bleak environment in their own kingdom was incredibly astonishing. A Divine Kingdom’s primary purpose is to shelter the souls of its believers; such a harsh environment would not sustain even the weaker spirits. This implied that this god did not need believers at all.

“You actually dare to step into my kingdom. Should I say you are commendably brave or recklessly ignorant? But since you are here, as the host, I will treat you with the utmost sincerity,” the deity proclaimed.

The deity’s manic laughter echoed across the dark sky. As an Evil God, tormenting a powerful being was one of its rare pleasures, and it was thrilling.

Boom!

The earth roared, and not far away, a mound of earth swiftly rose, quickly forming a range of mountains. Then, the rocks on these mountains slid and cracked open, revealing a huge demon beast that had been slumbering within.

Howl!

The distorted giant demon beast let out a roar. Under its master’s gaze, its eighteen eyes in three rows rolled around before fixating on Muria and Auston who had followed him. Then, the monster opened its mouth, and a gray-black acidic mist billowed out.

From a distance, it appeared as though the monster had spat out a river of filth. Faced with such an attack, Muria had no desire to act. He motioned backward with his hand, and the Ancient Red Dragon willingly revealed its dragon form, then spewed ancient dragon flames capable of melting most substances.

“Impressive power,” the Evil God noted Auston’s aura of high-level legendary, slightly startled inside because such a realm was very close to that of the deities. However, It did not show the surprise in Its heart and maintained the disdain and contempt typical of a deity towards those beneath them.

“But, how much can you handle in my kingdom?”

Under the suppression of the Divine Realm Laws, the power Auston could exercise was reduced to one tenth. Normally, he could easily shred such a creature, but under the Divine Kingdom’s laws, the fight was evenly matched, causing the proud ancient dragon to feel extremely frustrated.

“How many more such minions do you have?” Muria asked with an indiscernible expression, looking at the dozen massive monsters emerging from the distant lands of the Divine Kingdom.

“What? Ignorant ants, do you think there are too many? Hahaha, you can try begging me.”

“No, too few, indeed. For a god, the number of such minions is frankly too few. You truly disappoint me!”

“What are you saying, arrogant…”

The voice of the Evil God abruptly stopped, as an epic aura matching His, emanating from the youth, filled the space that should have been under His control. The area twisted as this aura spread and then, an authoritative and deep voice echoed within His Divine Kingdom,

“With such a pitiful Divine Kingdom, how many of my minions can you withstand?”
