King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 1216 - 1216 1203

Chapter 1216: 1203 Chapter 1216: 1203 The Star Cloud Chains, which completely sealed the space around the demigod, quickly entangled the Son of the Golden Eagle, some even penetrating deep into his flesh.

However, such gruesome injuries did not concern the demigod Giovanni; his eyes were fixated on the broken half of the War Lance he had thrown, hoping to kill the lowly native who had brought him to this dire situation.

Both divine artifacts were evidently controlled by the dragon. If he could kill the main culprit, he would be able to free himself instantly, escape his current predicament, and even directly obtain two True Divine Artifacts.

With two artifacts in hand, once he returned to his world, his status would undergo a dramatic change; he would become the strongest existence beneath a True God.

Just as the demigod began to indulge in visions of his glorious future, something desperate happened—the chest of the black dragon was suddenly covered with armor plates fitting its form, completely shielding its front.

Clang!

A crisp yet unpleasant sound of metal clashing rang out. Then, visible ripples of force emanated from the point where the damaged War Lance had struck, causing the surrounding buildings to collapse like dominoes. The dust hadn’t even risen before it was forcibly suppressed.

“There’s actually a third one!”

The demigod was completely stunned by the sight before him; he could not fathom how a lower world, which had severed its link to extraordinary inheritance and attempted to seize divine power by the blood sacrifice of hundreds of mortals, could possess an illogical existence with three True Divine Artifacts.

“Even my father doesn’t have so many True Divine Artifacts. What are you exactly to have such power?”

A sense of helplessness filled the demigod’s chest; followed by frustration and dissatisfaction, and a hint of faint curiosity. He had fought and killed other demigods, sometimes winning, sometimes losing, but he had never fallen into such a dismal state as now.

“I said, you do not deserve to know my identity.” Armed with the armor of Saintly Imperial Abyss, Muria coolly spoke while blocking the demigod’s last desperate attack.

“Now, shut up.”

The black dragon gently waved its claws, and the Star Cloud Chains, already entwining most of the demigod’s body, twisted like a snake, tightly coiling around his golden eagle head, removing his freedom to speak further.

“Done my part and fade away, deep hide my deeds and name. Time to leave.” The black dragon, believing it had rescued the city, perched atop the only intact skyscraper of the area, uttered a phrase before vanishing on the spot.

The towering figure of the demigod, bound tightly by the chains which glimmered with a radiant light like a star cluster, disappeared too; the oppressive presence that seemed almost suffocating also dissipated with them.

The crisis that had threatened to destroy the city vanished in an instant; those who had been fleeing were now standing in their tracks, some looking confused at the spot where the demigod had appeared, their eyes expressing a touch of bewilderment.

If not for the slowly dissipating vortex of clouds in the sky, they might have thought what they had just witnessed was an illusion, but the damaged ruins of the city and the surrounding chaos told them it was no dream.

“Teacher!” Panting lightly, with cheeks flushed from excitement, a young man burst through the door, an incredulous joy in his eyes as he looked at the child deep in thought on the bed.

“What’s the matter?”

Muria looked at the young man who had hurried back, hearing the commotion downstairs. This disturbance, for better or worse, was somewhat connected to him.

“May I ask, do you have any of the same kind?”

Seeing the child, calm and composed at this moment, Jiuli gathered his thoughts and then carefully spoke, his demeanor far more respectful than before.

“Nonsense, of course I do,” Muria rolled her eyes.

“No, no, I mean, do you have any of your kind in my world?”

“Hmm,” Muria stroked her chin, glanced at the youth, and then at the floor, “Suppose there are some!”

“So this…”

Jiuli, wearing a look of disappointment, raised the mobile device in his hand to show Muria the freshly baked explosive news, accompanied by a very conspicuous picture.

It was of a black giant dragon, its chest shimmering with radiant golden light and its head sporting a pair of sturdy dragon horns, coiled atop a ruined skyscraper like a king, overlooking the broken city below.

“Yes, that’s me, is there any problem?” Without waiting for the youth to continue speaking, Muria nodded her head and admitted it with a very flat tone.

“Uh… this, not, I mean.” Muria’s response immediately scrambled Jiuli’s thoughts, leaving him somewhat stuttering and his words in disarray.

He was not normally a person to make a big fuss, but the events of today were just too shocking, so much so that his perceived steadiness under his vast experience crumbled in the face of such events.

“Why are you so surprised?” Muria looked curiously at the youth, whose face was pale and flushed with excitement, “Haven’t you already seen my true form? Why would you ask such a strange question right off the bat?”

“Is it really you?” Jiuli, ignoring the look Muria was giving him that likened him to a fool, asked somewhat excitedly.

“Who else could it be? Your hometown doesn’t have the means to deal with such a big guy,” Muria scoffed, “Someone like you already represents the pinnacle of extraordinary powers in your hometown.”

“So, did you choose to act out of good will?” The youth asked cautiously, harboring a hint of hope that probably shouldn’t be there, recalling his encounter with this teacher and finding no malice in it.

“Do I look very kind?” Muria couldn’t help but touch her youthful cheek upon hearing the question.

“Then why did you have a conflict with this one?” Jiuli brought up a snatched photo showing a giant birdman standing amidst the city, radiating golden light.

“Oh, that was just a coincidence. I was just there for the fun, didn’t expect to run into this idiot. I didn’t plan to do anything, but this fool took a fancy to me.”

Muria’s face showed signs of annoyance, mixed with a bit of anger, “Then, I dealt with him. You probably saw the process, so I need not say more.”

“Then, Teacher, how do you plan to deal with this?”

“This guy is a child of divine beings, with plenty of good things inside his body. I plan to refine them all.”
