King of Titans and Dragons
Chapter 1206 - 1206 1193 Wild Earth God

Chapter 1206: Chapter 1193: Wild Earth God Chapter 1206: Chapter 1193: Wild Earth God The so-called Golden Giant refers to a huge humanoid creature whose body is covered with golden scales.

After circling in the sky, the black dragon had pinpointed the appearance of the castaway. From above, it could clearly see a faint trail of blood spreading in the direction from which the giant had drifted.

Surrounding this trail of blood, various sea creatures, large and small, floated belly-up on the water surface, creating a rather shocking sight. This also explained why a creature that seemed defenseless could remain unharmed while drifting on the sea.

This creature, shimmering with golden light and appearing fierce and towering, was entirely toxic. However, the fact that it hadn’t been eaten only indicated that the creatures attempting to bite the giant weren’t particularly adept.

Truly powerful creatures could drink deadly poison as if it were water and might even relish tasting it, much like himself.

Realizing that the giant was in a dire situation, Muria dived down, grabbed its head with his front claw, lifted it from the sea, and flew towards a vast sea island behind him.

Bang!

Muria threw the bloodied and mangled giant onto the ground, smashing it into a lush, water-abundant lake, startling many waterbirds, then landed nearby to wait.

As an Extraordinary Being, he possessed basic healing capabilities; Muria noticed that the wounds on the giant’s body had begun to heal when he dragged it out of the sea. Therefore, there was no need to do anything extra; waiting sufficed.

Jiuli slowly opened his eyes, feeling intense stinging pain all over his body, especially his back. Instead of causing him pain, these sensations were oddly comforting—

because the pain assured him that his condition wasn’t too terrible and still within bearable limits. However, when he slightly turned his head and saw the huge black creature several sizes larger than himself next to him, Jiuli’s heart clenched, foreboding bad news.

Viewing the creature beside him, which seemingly combined perfect strength and agility, and seeing it looking at him with utter indifference, as if sizing up food, the newly awakened giant didn’t think twice and instinctively threw a punch at the enormous beast beside him.

His experiences throughout his growth taught him never to hold unrealistic expectations of any strange intelligent creatures. Expecting the worst usually proved right.

However, he learned the hard way that attacking a more powerful unknown creature first was a mistake.

As his fist flew, yet before it could land where he aimed, a long tail viciously struck him, catapulting the Golden Giant through the air, scales shattering, before crashing back into the pond.

“Being cautious is good, but being overly cautious is not.”

As Jiuli tried to get up and fight back, the indifferent voice echoed directly in his mind through his soul, helping him understand the other’s attitude and slightly diminishing his hostility.

“What are you?” the giant struggled to stand up from the pond, then gazed at the enormous bloodstain across his chest and abdomen, his body trembling slightly from pain, feeling somewhat wronged by the blow he had received.

“The dragon that pulled you out of the sea,” Muria observed the approximately five-meter-tall giant in front of him. His body was indeed humanoid, but the differences from humans were quite significant in detail—

such as having no nose, only two holes for a face, and his hand had only three fingers, giving off an odd, uncoordinated vibe.

“A dragon? Do such creatures really exist? I thought they were only in legends.”

“Hmm.”

“Why did you save me?”

“Why do you need a reason? If you really want one, it’s because I was in a good mood at the time, so I just picked you up from the sea.”

“I see.” The giant fell silent, unsure how to communicate with the creature claiming to be a dragon, being naturally reticent himself.

“Now that you’ve asked me, it’s my turn to ask you—who are you? Where do you come from? What has happened to you, and why are you so severely wounded?”

“I come from…” the giant squinted, recalling his bizarre and twisted recent experiences, gazing at the mythical creature in front of him, feeling somewhat dazed,

“a place completely different from here. As for why I’ve ended up like this, it’s because I was in conflict with invaders who attacked my homeland, and I battled them, which led to this.”

“So you are a warrior defending your homeland?” Muria examined the increasingly less-guarded giant, who seemed more like a naive young man than an experienced, world-wise adult creature.

“Warrior?” the giant paused briefly then shook his head, “No, I’m not a warrior, I’m just a…”

“What?”

“A fairly lucky ordinary person.”

“Lucky?” The dignified black dragon cracked a smile. “Indeed, encountering me does mean your luck isn’t bad. But, you’re not quite ordinary.”

The Epics hidden within the heart of the black dragon opened their eyes, gazing at the creature his Reincarnated Body had encountered, instantly discerning his essence and thus surprised but also somewhat uncertain, sensing something invisible entwined around the giant.

“Hahaha!” the giant laughed shyly when he heard the black dragon’s seemingly praiseful words.

“Are you planning to return to your Land of Faith now?”

“Ah?” The giant was somewhat taken aback.

“Hmm? Newborn Earth God, what confuses you?” Muria, able to sense the soul fluctuations emanating from this giant before him, knew that the expression he was showing was not a disguise but genuine emotion.

But it was precisely because of this that Muria felt strange. Although in his eyes the strength of this giant was very weak, perhaps even weaker than the weakest of his minions, yet he possessed something many legends dreamed of — the Power of Faith.

Yes, this seemingly weak giant, whom even his freshly reincarnated body could smash to death with one swipe of his claws, was actually wrapped in the Power of Faith that could lead to eternal life.

Such a preposterously bizarre sight was right in front of him, but given that he was situated in a vast world now, encountering such an oddity was not surprising.

“Earth God? Are you referring to me?” the Golden Giant asked with some confusion, pointing at himself.

“Of course, who else here is worthy of speaking with me?”

“But how am I an Earth God?”

“You don’t even know what you are?” Muria looked the giant up and down, feeling that he was a bit simple-minded. After a moment’s thought, he decided to follow through, helping this simpleton understand what he really was,

“You possess the faith of intelligent creatures; naturally, you are a god. However, judging by the amount of Power of Faith you hold, you are the lowest type of Earth God. In the eyes of a True God, your kind are known as false gods.

For you can only demonstrate your divine power within a limited area, and once you leave that area, your power will significantly decline.”

“The faith of intelligent creatures?” Hearing Muria’s explanation, the giant showed a thoughtful expression.

“You must have some idea about this. To obtain the Power of Faith, you must have demonstrated your power before some intelligent creatures far weaker than you.”

“Indeed, I have, but I am not sure if that makes me the Earth God as you mentioned,” the giant revealed a hesitant look.

“The words you just said, and the way you are acting, really are asking for trouble. Becoming a god in such a confused state — didn’t any of your elders tell you?”

“Elders? No.” Jiuli pursed his lips and shook his head upon hearing this word.

“Then how did you train? Were you fumbling on your own?” Muria looked at the giant as one would look at an endangered species.

“Er.”

“I can tell, you were also a very weak creature at first. You got to where you are now through training.”

“Yes, the strength I have now was achieved through training methods left by my ancestors, but I had no one to guide me.”

“In other words, you refined yourself into your current state all by yourself using your ancestors’ methods? Tsk tsk, you really are an oddity. Though you’re too modest about it, you are not just lucky. You are, in fact, the world’s…”

As the last three words were about to slip out, Muria closed his mouth, and his gaze became deep and intense, causing the giant to feel a chill in his heart.

“Is there something wrong with me?”

“There’s a big problem. My experience tells me that most people who train the way you do should have grass growing three feet high on their graves by now.”

“…”

“Would you mind letting me see your method of training?”

“This?” Jiuli showed hesitation. The request from this powerful creature before him was unexpected — how could his fundamental method be casually shown to another.

“I told you, you’re too on guard. Don’t overthink it. We belong to different races; what you see as a treasure, I find no different from trash.

Moreover, if I genuinely wanted to harm you, I wouldn’t need all this roundabout talk. Do you think you can defeat me?”

“I can’t…” The giant’s face immediately displayed an awkward smile.

“I was even thinking of giving you a few tips, but since you don’t trust me, forget it.”

Jiuli still sported that awkward smile, but he secretly breathed a sigh of relief inside. He was worried that if the dragon insisted on seeing his training methods, he might have to compromise for the sake of his life.
