King of Titans and Dragons -
Chapter 1159 - 1159 1146 The Path of the Heart
Chapter 1159: Chapter 1146: The Path of the Heart Chapter 1159: Chapter 1146: The Path of the Heart “It seems you are unwilling to come out!”
After having waited only a brief moment, Akmonde, seeing the Desolate Evil God nesting within the Mother World and refusing to respond, raised the battle axe in his hand.
As he moved, streaks of thunder burst forth from the battle axe, extending ten thousand miles. The terrifying might thunderously descended, and the world began to tremble under the oppressive force of the barbaric lord.
“Wait a moment!”
Just as Akmonde was about to strike, a decisive voice emerged from within the world, and a massive beastly shadow soared up from the world’s interior, covering itself in a layer of Curse Fog that could drive all creatures to madness.
However, at this moment, everyone watching the Desolate Evil God could ignore the negative effects brought by the Curse Fog, formed from the resentment of the fallen creatures of the world.
“Not bad.” Seeing the Desolate Evil God honestly emerging from his Mother World, the barbaric lord nodded in satisfaction, saving him a lot of time.
In truth, his earlier threat of splitting open the Evil God’s Mother World and pulling the Evil God out of the world was merely a bluff. As an orderly Titan, he would never actually destroy a world.
Even if this world had birthed an Evil God that had already destroyed other worlds, the situation remained the same. It was the Evil God’s own choice, unrelated to the world itself.
“I…”
Upon hearing the condescending words of praise, the Desolate Evil God did not get angry but felt delighted instead, as he attempted to converse with an existence, trying to alleviate his current plight.
But just as he had begun to speak, he saw the towering figure clad in armor swinging the weapon in his hand, bringing down thousands of tons of thunder upon him.
Roar!
Although the attack came suddenly, for an entity at the epic level, there was no concept of a sneak attack; their reaction speeds when faced with attacks were perfectly matched to their strength, so almost instantaneously, the Desolate Evil God summoned his own power to counter.
Boom———
Dark red blood splattered, and circles of golden energy waves spread. The Desolate Evil God helplessly realized he could not defeat the being in front of him; he saw no possibility of victory.
Indeed, there was no reason involving power suppression or terrain. The opponent had simply crushed him with an absolute advantage, a pure demonstration of power dominance.
The blood-soaked battle axe, unstoppable, sliced through the Evil God’s claws used in defense, then ferociously chopped into his massive body, treating his thoroughly forged true body as nothing, brutally slicing it into two.
The dark blood of the Evil God gushed from the bisected body, adding a new bloodstain to the already blood-streaked battle axe, making the murderous aura surrounding it even heavier, like an evil beast choosing its prey.
“Too weak, how boring!”
Akmonde, having disabled the Evil God with a single axe blow, stood between the Evil God’s Mother World and the Hall of Transcendence, drenched in the blood sprayed from the Evil God, then commented in an indifferent tone.
Then, right before everyone’s eyes, this Titan wiped off the now even more oppressive battle axe, split the Void with it, and directly left. There was nothing left here worthy of his stay.
This development left the Desolate Evil God, who was struggling to heal his wounds and preparing to continue his confrontation with Akmonde, somewhat bewildered. He didn’t understand what was happening. He appeared ready to kill, having chopped him once, debilitating him, and then just walked away without any concern.
After Akmonde’s departure, several beings of comparable strength also left, while a group of deities withdrew their attention, no longer concerned.
What was happening? The Desolate Evil God found it hard to understand. But he knew that even though these ten or so beings had left, it did not mean he was now at ease, as their departure did not alter his dire situation in the slightest.
Therefore, when threatened by Akmonde, the Desolate Evil God did not take long to obediently emerge from his Mother World.
He knew that relying on the Mother World, he could counter several beings of the same level as himself, but when the number of such beings rose to the hundreds, it made no difference where he stayed.
If he had stayed hidden within the Mother World, the collective might of these beings would have been sufficient to completely destroy his Mother World. Therefore, he decided it was better to come out openly and thereby preserve his Mother World.
Although he was an Evil God of world destruction, he still had profound affection for his Mother World, the only place in the void that would accept him.
“What are you thinking about? Why are you so slow? Recover quickly.” But just as the Desolate Evil God was healing his wounds and pondering what the astonishing number of beings in front of him would do to him, an impatient voice exploded next to his ear.
The Desolate Evil God followed this Soul Sound and immediately saw a towering figure, holding a scepter, remarkably similar to the recently departed lord of the barbaric world.
At this moment, the Titan was eyeing him eagerly, his eyes filled with an intense desire for battle. Yet, his strength was far less than that of the Wild Lord who had just departed; he barely even stepped into the realm of the Epic Domain.
But this was a Titan nonetheless, newly entered into the Epic Domain. So, when confronted with an imminent battle threat, the Desolate Evil God had no choice but to use forbidden magic and painfully use his source power to temporarily restore himself to his peak condition.
Then, just as the Desolate Evil God had restored himself, the eager Titan immediately charged forward.
Obviously, he was no match for the Evil God who had roamed the Void for tens of thousands of years, so, on the brink of defeat, he immediately withdrew, and the Desolate Evil God dared not pursue him.
Then, after the Evil God had rested for a moment, another Titan stood up, filled with fighting spirit and walked forward, but he was stopped halfway by a Blazing Sky God.
“What’s the problem?”
“It’s not just your Titans who need experience fighting Evil Gods; we Blazing Sky Gods need it too.”
“…” The blocked Titan fell silent for a moment, his battle blood already boiling, “After I finish, you guys can go.”
“No way, the first two battles were yours, Titans. It’s our turn now, the Blazing Sky Gods. You better watch and see who actually brought this Evil God here, you guys can only claim half the participation of a Titan.”
“Hmph!” The newly promoted Epic Titan snorted coldly, his gaze shifting to Muria, and he nodded slightly before stepping back, “Make it quick.”
“What’s the rush? We three races take turns; after the Blazing Sky Gods are finished, it’s our Dragon Race’s turn.” A Dragon King said lazily, scratching his chin on the side.
…
“Muria, are you not going up? Just watching them fight? You know, this Evil God was specifically sought out by Akmonde for you.”
Seeing the Desolate Evil God, who had just recovered from his injuries, being pummeled by a newly promoted Dragon King, Dimos commented to the equally spectating Muria.
“Forget it, I’ve already fought with him; there’s no need to continue the fight now.”
Seeing the Desolate Evil God being tormented by one Epic after another, Muria shook his head, opting not to join in the fray.
The Desolate Evil God had changed to survive; or perhaps he hadn’t changed at all, except that now he was expressing the path of his heart to the fullest.
Although they were opposing factions, Muria couldn’t help but feel a trace of pity for this Evil God; it was just too pitiable.
In his memory, this Evil God could be considered the most pitiable of all, being continuously thrashed in a tag-team battle by the newly promoted Epic members of the three races.
While feeling emotional, Muria thought for a moment and pulled a massive Chain Ball from the Void behind him; this was the Star Cloud Chain that sealed the Desolate Evil God.
“Why are you taking that thing out?” Dimos asked, confused by Muria’s action.
“Nothing much. I just sealed this Evil God inside and he must be feeling uncomfortable. I am being merciful now, letting him out to breathe some free air,” Muria said with a smile.
“Hehe!” Upon hearing Muria’s words, Dimos immediately understood Muria’s intention and laughed.
“Little Evil God, it’s time for you to get some fresh air,” Muria controlled the Star Cloud Chain linked with his own bloodline, and carefully modified the seal of the Magic Array placed by Dimos, creating a tiny gap.
As soon as a gap appeared in the seal Magic Array formed around the core of the Star Cloud Chain, tentacles suffused with ominous Qi and intense resentment Curse Fog couldn’t wait to probe out from the gap in the chain, eager to escape the cage and regain freedom.
However, Muria’s actions had already drawn the curious gazes of many Epics and Divine Beings, and as another Evil God’s presence filled this domain of the Void, even more eyes turned their attention this way.
Thus, the tentacles of the newly emerged Evil God immediately stiffened, as the Desolate Evil God sensed the gazes of other entities of his league outside.
Shock, disbelief, extreme astonishment, fear, and other complex emotions vibrated through these tentacles.
The Evil God had observed the outside of the sealing cage through this part of his body; he saw the Desolate Evil God being pinned down and roughed up.
Of course, he also saw more onlookers, including Titans, Blazing Sky Gods, Dragon Kings, and some Divine Beings who had descended avatars, and he could sense even more gazes coming from afar.
He didn’t need to think about it—the tentacles that had just probed out retracted even faster than they had emerged, and while retracting, he carefully tugged at the gap in the chain that Muria had intentionally separated, trying to let the Star Cloud Chain return to its original state of sealing him.
