Chapter 1121 - 1121 1108 The World Corrupted by the Evil God
Chapter 1121: Chapter 1108: The World Corrupted by the Evil God Chapter 1121: Chapter 1108: The World Corrupted by the Evil God “This is my own will, Grandfather, I hope you can respect my choice,” Muria expressed her dislike for Aludiba’s attempt to stop her from joining the battle out of concern for her.
“Actually, it wouldn’t be much of a problem if Michaela goes with me.” Seeing the trend of Titan Grandfather Ackmond starting to clash with Aludiba and also being unable to prevent Michaela from participating in the battle, Muria had no choice but to change her argument.
Michaela herself wanted to go, and her grandfather Ackmond had agreed, what else could he do? Surely he couldn’t just confine his wife, could he?
Moreover, when elders were in conflict, as a younger family member with the ability, one should certainly try to mediate. Whether one could manage to or not was one thing, deciding to try was another, but at least it was crucial to make one’s stance clear.
“You kid…” Seeing Muria’s sudden shift in tone, Aludiba was first surprised, then quite angry. His stance was too unstable. In just a few sentences, he had betrayed his faction.
“Grandfather, do you mean to say that as long as one’s strength breaks through the epic level, then participating in the battle won’t pose a great threat to life, is that correct?” Muria directed his gaze towards Ackmond, but he quickly realized that expecting his grandfather to cooperate was a very foolish fantasy.
“If even a newly advanced epic can’t pose a threat to life, why would I find such an opponent for you? Is it just for your amusement?” Ackmond utterly disregarded the implications in Muria’s words, speaking very directly.
Hearing this, Aludiba’s expression grew even more serious; the implications were that Muria was about to face an Evil God, an existence that could definitely threaten his granddaughter’s life.
“I will never let you join this battle,” Aludiba said with utmost determination. The Blazing Sky God Race were not as warlike as the Titan Tribe, which was evident from the way they chose to become epics.
They chose to take advantage of the long lifespans of the Eternal Life Beings to become epics, which, from a time perspective, was not much different from becoming Divine Beings.
The only difference from Divine Beings was that once Divine Ascension occurred, one could only remain within one world, whereas the Blazing Sky God Race, after enduring a long initial period, could leave the world.
Compared to the aggressive methods of the Titan Tribe, the Blazing Sky God Race was extremely conservative. Thus, the battle-hungry Michaela was an anomaly within the Blazing Sky God Race. To them, battling for the sake of battle was incomprehensible.
“I am not your minion.” Hearing her grandfather’s firm tone, Michaela did not choose to yield; battling against powerful beings was her desire, “I will act according to my will, and even you as my grandfather cannot stop me.”
“I will not stop your will, but you cannot stop me from executing mine either.”
Aludiba looked at his granddaughter, who had grown up and achieved successes that many Divine Descendants admired, but in his eyes, she was always his granddaughter.
“You are my granddaughter, and as your grandfather, I have the right to shield you from anything that might harm you, and to keep you as far away from potential threats as possible.”
“Ah, the situation might not be as severe as you think,” Muria said, finding after his return that all developments were taking a turn for the worse, necessitating him to interrupt the dialogue between Aludiba and Michaela.
“In this battle, I am the main character; it is I who need to confront the Evil God directly,” Muria reminded this troubled Blazing Sky God, “not my wife.”
“You are too hasty,” hearing Muria’s interruption, Dimos commented, then turning his majestic Dragon Head, a pair of burning golden Dragon’s Eyes fixed on Ackmond,
“Does your Titan Tribe really enjoy making your own kind struggle? My grandson has only been through a few worlds, yet you are making him confront an Evil God. Is this something he should be dealing with at his current stage?”
“Muria already has the potential to defeat an Evil God, as long as he can fully control and imbue the power within his body, killing an Evil God is not a problem,” Ackmond stated confidently, unfazed by the Golden Dragon King’s doubt.
“But that’s only the weakest of the Evil Gods; a slightly stronger one and my grandson would be in danger.”
“The opponent I found for Muria is not that strong.” Speaking, Ackmond pointed his finger, and then a beam of light descended towards Muria’s hand.
“What is this?” At the instant the light beam touched Muria’s palm, it dissipated, generating a Void coordinate in Muria’s consciousness, and he looked up inquiringly.
“This is the coordinates of a world being eroded by an Evil God, but the erosion involves only the Evil God’s minions. The precise location of its true form is still uncertain.”
“Then what do I need to do to draw out its true form?” Muria, thinking he would have to directly confront an Evil God, asked curiously.
“Simple, just eliminate all the minions the Evil God uses to erode the world, and it will naturally appear.”
“Wait, your Titan Tribe hasn’t found the Evil God? You’ve only located a world that is being eroded by an Evil God?” Being nearby and contemplating how to dissuade his granddaughter, Aludiba suddenly pinpointed the crux of the matter, realizing the situation might not be as bad as he had thought.
“What’s the problem?” Ackmond narrowed his eyes, the question sounding like a doubt on the capabilities of their Titan Tribe.
“If only minions are eradicated, it can’t be certain to attract the Evil God’s true form 100% of the time, can it?”
“It is a world on the brink of destruction, and an Evil God of no more than Second Tier is unlikely to give it up.”
“I see,” Aludiba’s face revealed a hint of regret, “what is the level of the world that has been corrupted by the Evil God?”
“What level of world do you think the Evil God I found as an opponent for Muria could corrupt?” Ackmond’s face showed a trace of impatience. He felt that Aludiba’s question was too trivial to merit an answer.
“A minor world then.” Aludiba stroked his chin, a thoughtful look in his eyes.
“Muria, I’ve already given you the coordinates. When to depart is up to you to decide.” Seeing that Aludiba was no longer pestering him, Ackmond instructed Muria with a different attitude from before.
Upon hearing this, Muria was slightly startled. He remembered that previously, his Titan Grandfather was always urging him to depart quickly, but this time he was not.
“I’ll talk with my children and then depart.” Although Ackmond had said so, Muria wouldn’t actually wait for hundreds of years, dragging his feet.
“That’s best.” Ackmond nodded slightly in approval, then prepared to leave.
“Wait, there is something I want to discuss with you.” Seeing Ackmond ready to leave, Aludiba immediately spoke up to stop him.
“What is it?”
“The coordinates of the world corrupted by the Evil God, could you share them with me?” Aludiba said somewhat sheepishly, knowing his request was a bit excessive, “name your conditions.”
“Hmm?” Ackmond glanced over this Blazing Sky God a few times, then turned to Michaela who showed an unhappy expression on her face, shook his head at Aludiba, “You’re too indulgent with your descendants.”
Immediately, he raised his hand to tear through the Void, stepping in and vanishing, no longer paying attention to Aludiba.
“Hey, don’t go, let’s talk, it’s just coordinates, we can discuss it.” Although he knew Ackmond didn’t want to deal with him, Aludiba didn’t want to give up. His twelve wings fluttered slightly as he descended toward Erathia World.
Not wanting to talk? No problem, he would block his doorway, all the way until he agreed to talk, since he knew where the Titan lived. He just didn’t believe that a mere set of coordinates for a minor world would be out of his reach.
“Muria, since you’ve already made up your mind, I won’t say much else, take care of yourself.” Dimos gave Muria a long look.
Though he didn’t believe his grandson was ready to battle an Evil God, yet since he insisted, and he had tried to dissuade him, there wasn’t much else to say.
He believed that on such matters, the Titans would still be sensible, unlikely to pick an opponent that Muria absolutely could not defeat.
After all, the Titans’ battles were meant to sharpen themselves. They wouldn’t allow their tribal members to go off to certain death pensively, so he felt quite reassured.
“Do you really want to come with me?” After watching his Dragon King Grandfather leave, Muria turned to Michaela.
“Yes, together.” Michaela’s decision hadn’t changed from the start, resolutely.
“Have you forgotten what you once told me, to always stay by my side?”
“I remember.” Muria felt somewhat gloomy. He remembered every word he had ever spoken, but he really didn’t want Michaela to get involved in such dangerous matters. After all, what was a difficulty of ten for him would, at the very least, be twenty for Michaela.
“Alright, Tiffany and the others have arrived. Have a good chat with the children,” he said.
“I know.” Seeing his three daughters hurrying over after receiving their mother’s notification, a smile spontaneously appeared on Muria’s face. Thus, he maintained a happy mood as he engaged in conversation with his three increasingly charming daughters.
The main topics of their discussion centered on “Do you have someone you’re seeing?” “If you are, bring them over for me to meet. I promise I won’t lay a hand on them,” and similar questions.
To his (disappointment) pleasure, none of his three daughters were seeking male partners, which let the father prepared to scrutinize his future son-in-law feel somewhat let down.
This type of conversation made Michaela, who was listening from the side, roll her eyes. She decisively moved aside, pulling the belatedly arriving Aeolus to inquire about his recent situation, looking into the matter of grandchildren.
