Chapter 162: He’s My Omega. Stay Away From Him, You Bastard!

Aiden caught Daren’s chin and pulled him close to him. Staring into the blue eyes of the Omega who gasped in surprise as he did so.

"Hmn... Interesting Omega. You have unique pheromones too," he commented briefly before Victor finally brushed Aiden’s hand away from Daren.

He growled in annoyance at his menacing pheromones that were so strong they could be felt. Immediately Victor shielded his omega from another alpha who was very threatening to him.

"Don’t you dare touch my omega!" he said in a very chilling voice.

Even Daren had never heard Victor sound that terrifying, like his alpha instincts had taken over his lover’s angry body. It was like he’d turned feral.

Aiden himself was somewhat taken aback because this was the first time in his life he’d felt pheromones this strong. Especially coming from Victor who he should have known what the man’s pheromones were like back then.

’He... Turned into a very strong alpha. Tch, no wonder they’re still after him,’ Aiden thought at the time.

He pulled himself away as Victor hid Daren behind him. He understood that Daren was a very important omega for the man and that would be something interesting for him.

"Alright alright, I’m backing off now. You seem to really like that omega one. You used to hate them so much, now have you turned into their servant?" Aiden asked Victor condescendingly.

That’s when Daren knew that Aiden seemed to deliberately want to make Victor angry and see his reaction.

He had the courage to take Victor’s hand until the man turned to him. Daren shook his head, as if giving Victor the code to stop.

The Alpha returned to his normal mode, he let out a rough sigh but still glared at Aiden.

"I don’t mince my words, Aiden. Stay out of my omega or I will not hesitate to kill you. Do you understand?" he asked in a threatening tone.

"All right, I’ll stay away from him," Aiden replied. "For now, but not later."

"What?!"

He laughed, saying that no one could stop him from getting close to Daren. He could do whatever he wanted and if he wanted something, then he would get what he wanted.

"Including your Daren," he replied with a sly smile on his face. "But for now I’ll back off first."

Aiden turned to Daren, as if to give him the code to meet again and then turned to leave.

After making sure the man stayed away, Daren rubbed Victor’s arm. He was sure the man was still very upset about meeting someone who had broken his trust.

"Are you okay?" Daren asked.

"Yeah, I just got carried away with my anger earlier. You weren’t hurt at all by him, were you?"

He shook his head, saying Aiden hadn’t done anything to him. Victor breathed a sigh of relief and urged Daren to go home and leave the place immediately tomorrow morning.

In the morning, Mike returned after a night out at the nearest bar in the neighborhood. He deliberately did it so he wouldn’t have to think about Daren and Victor being alone in the house.

’After this I’m finally back home and I can rest in my room,’ he thought and sat on the sofa.

"Mike? Where have you been, why are you back now?" asked Daren who went over to him.

"Last night I went for some fresh air and accidentally fell asleep on the park bench," he replied.

Of course Daren didn’t believe that, considering that last night he and Victor went to the park area to leave Liam there. There was no sign of Mike at all.

Mike didn’t know about Liam’s ruckus, so he could answer that by sleeping in the park, even though he had actually gone to the bar.

"I see, then go take a shower and we’ll leave for home."

"Yes, I understand." He stood up from the sofa and headed for the bathroom.

Daren was worried about Mike, he was even confused, why would the man lie?

Where did he go last night and did he sleep out all night?

He really didn’t understand what was happening, but Daren could only hope that Mike would be okay.

They finally returned to North Zondalia together by plane. Victor used the extra storage for his motorcycle to be carried by the freight plane.

Upon arrival, he was relieved to be away from Aiden. Though he couldn’t be completely relieved, considering the man could have chased him there. Plus he must have known where they were.

"You have to be careful of your surroundings, see if he’s there. Sometimes he can disguise himself as anyone, do you understand?"

"Yes, I understand. I’ll be more vigilant later, you don’t have to worry about that!" Daren replied.

Strangely enough, since their return, Mike had been behaving rather strangely which made Daren feel confused.

"Are you sure you’re okay?" asked a worried Daren.

"Yes, I’m very sure. I’m just a little tired."

"Really? If you feel any pain or anything, you can tell me."

Mike smiled and nodded his head. Reassuring Daren that he would be fine. Daren couldn’t say much and believed what his childhood friend said. Even though he knew what Mike was saying wasn’t what it seemed.

"Then go get some rest, I’ll be in my room too."

"Yeah, thanks," Mike replied and turned to go to his own room.

He let out a long sigh, his mind was completely messed up because of something that happened to him a few days ago while they were still in South Zondalia.

In his mind, Mike recalled the night he went to the bar and met another alpha who spoke familiarly with him.

They chatted with each other and their conversation was very enjoyable for Mike. He fondly remembered that they both ended up getting drunk and he went to the apartment where the alpha lived.

"Hey, you look pretty cute for an alpha, you know?" the alpha said as he approached Mike’s face and rubbed his lower lip with his thumb.

Mike’s face turned red as he and the alpha guy drunkenly kissed each other even though he was also an alpha. It all happened because they were both drunk and got carried away too far.

"How stupid, how could I let that happen. Even though I’m also... Uhh--"
