Chapter 148: It’s A Date For Him

"Let me walk holding your hand!" said Liam as he reached out and grabbed Victor’s hand that was in his pocket.

He hugged the man’s arm and could feel his strong muscles under his white shirt. Victor just stared at his arm being hugged by an Omega, with a flat gaze even though he really wanted to push the hand away from him.

’What the hell is he doing? Suddenly doing it,’ he thought.

It wasn’t the first time an Omega or beta had done this to him, especially if they were the target of his mission. But ever since he had been dating Daren, this feeling of annoyance and disgust had gotten worse because he felt like he was cheating on his own boyfriend.

"You should have walked faster."

"I still can’t match your pace. Let me hold onto your arm, will you?"

"I’m your tutor. What if someone sees us together like this? They’ll think we’re dating," Victor said, trying to make excuses.

’That was my intention!’ Liam thought proudly wanting to show off the alpha to everyone, thinking Victor would eventually become his alpha.

However, Liam kept pleading and said he would get tired if he had to walk very fast. His face looked at Victor with a pleading look, forcing the alpha to accept his request.

The man then sighed and allowed Liam to hold onto his arm.

"Alright you can do it. But no more than just holding on and not hugging or anything else. Do you understand?"

"Yes, I understand!" he replied and they continued on their way to another district to tour a bookstore.

As they were walking, they passed a shortcut near district 21 where Daren was shooting around the place. It was a park with a lake nearby, and there was a small boat that couples could ride.

Seeing the crowds of people wandering around the filming area, the two of them were also curious and approached the location. Liam looked amazed because it had been a long time since he had seen filming in person. He was curious about who was playing in the movie that was currently being filmed.

"Wow, it’s so crowded! I’m curious about the actors and actresses who are playing right now. You don’t mind if we take a quick look right, Mr. Calvin?"

"Yes, I have no problem if you want to be here for a while."

Paying attention to the filming area, Victor remembered the days when he was Daren’s bodyguard. When he watched around to guard the actor from all sorts of things that might happen to him.

He remembers the first time he watched Daren and when the man had an accident in the middle of filming. Luckily, Victor, who was still posing as Axel at the time, managed to protect him from the scene board that almost fell on him.

’If I hadn’t run to him so quickly, he would have been injured,’ he thought at the time.

After a few minutes there, Victor missed Daren even more. The surroundings always reminded him of his omega and their memories of going together to shoot movies.

Thinking that staying longer would make his mind keep thinking about Daren, he asked Liam to leave and continue their walk.

"If we stay here too long, the day will be spent standing and looking at all these things. We won’t have time to go anywhere else," he said as an excuse to get them out of there.

Hearing that, Liam finally agreed because he didn’t want his plan to fail just because he wanted to watch the filming live. They finally left the shooting area and at the same time Daren got out of the van because it was his part to start the scene.

His blue eyes scanned the audience, hoping Victor was one of them. But he didn’t find him among the people around him.

However, he had seen a man’s back that he felt was very similar to his boyfriend’s, except that there was another man holding his arm.

’That can’t be him right? If i look at the comparison of their bodies, let the other one look very small like a typical dominant Omega’s body. But why would the two of them go out together and have that omega holding Victor’s arm?’ Daren tried to dismiss the thought because he had to get back to work.

Not only did Daren realize it, but also Mike felt that it was indeed Victor.

Eventually they arrived at a bookstore that looked brand new. Inside Victor wandered around the mystery novel section. He had always read mystery stories that had a lot of puzzles and he would try to find the answers before reading the mystery solving Chapter.

Liam wandered around the magazine area and he saw a pile of last year’s magazines that were on the shelf for free reading.

"Oh this is an old edition, I don’t have this one," he said and opened the magazine containing photos and activities of the actors.

As he was flipping through the papers, his face became irritated as he saw Daren’s picture there too. Daren was seen smiling while in the filming area of Under One Roof.

The photo was taken as a behind the scenes of the now very famous television program.

"Tch, why does it have to have his picture too? His face is already annoying, you attention seeker!" he said with annoyance, almost crumpling the magazine.

However, his eyes suddenly fell on one of the figures photographed behind Daren. It was a tall man with black hair and a black T-shirt.

"Huh? It feels familiar."

The man Liam knew and liked was photographed right behind Daren. Although the photo was slightly blurred, but Liam could still recognize the man clearly.

"Mr. Calvin? He’s... What is he near that man for?"

Victor wandered around looking for Liam because he hadn’t been seen since. He then found him reading a magazine. He approached him but just as he was about to call out to him, someone grabbed Victor’s shoulder from behind.
