Chapter 146: An Overwhelming Feeling

Despite having met last week, Daren was still missing his alpha, Victor. Therefore, he traveled to South Zondalia to meet his beloved.

He went not just to see him, but because he happened to have business there. Actually, he had know this since a few days before Victor came. But he deliberately kept it a secret to surprise his lover.

"Are you sure if Victor lives around here? After all, South Zondalia is a very large place. We might not be in the same area as him," Mike said.

"He said he was in Roadville district 36. And now we’re shooting in the same place but in district 21. I’m sure it’s not that far and there’s a shortcut to get there," Daren replied.

"Still, we don’t even know where he rented a house to live in. But if you really insist on seeing him, you’d better tell him or we’ll just mess up his work too."

Daren finally agreed, and they continued their journey by plane. Considering the trip from North to South took 5 hours by car.

He really couldn’t wait to meet him. Though he didn’t know if they should meet secretly or if they could just chat casually at Victor’s current residence.

However, he was really happy that the filming this time would take place there for a few days. And afterward he had nothing scheduled and could go find his boyfriend.

Their plane left in the evening, and arrived in 2.5 hours. They went to the hotel that the producers had rented for the actors and actresses in the movie.

"It’s 12 at night, and I’ve slept on the plane. Now I’m hungry and it’s something sweet but also spicy. Is there anything like that in the hotel?" asked Daren while rubbing his stomach.

Aside from that, he also mentioned some food that he wanted. Mike chuckled when he heard that because there were so many foods that Daren asked for. It was unusual for the man to ask for so much food.

He even seemed to want it badly.

"Slow down, you mentioned five different types of food and that’s a lot for you, so you still want more?" Mike asked. "You’re like someone with cravings."

His face reddened instantly when Mike teased him like that. He did mention too much food, as she felt so hungry and wanted to eat several things.

"I’m not pregnant to have cravings like that! I’m just hungry," he said with an embarrassed sigh.

Every time the word was mentioned, Daren remembered how Victor had done knots to him. Especially when he was not wearing protection.

Daren wondered, what if he was going to have a child from Victor?

But for now, he tried to focus on his work first as long as he didn’t feel any symptoms indicating that he was pregnant.

Finally, after an hour’s drive from the airport to the hotel, they could both rest while waiting for Daren’s food order to arrive.

"You go rest, let me wait for my food to arrive. I fell asleep on the plane earlier, so now it’s your turn to sleep," he said.

"Are you sure? You don’t want me to stay with you while you eat?"

"I’m not a kid anymore. You can rest because it’s going to be very tiring filming in the morning."

"Even though I’ll just be watching, you’ll be doing the filming. But alright then, I’ll rest now. Wake me up if you need anything," Mike said and lay down on his bed.

For almost 30 minutes Daren waited for his food to arrive while checking his phone. He saw some of the things that were currently happening, lately he often saw news of infidelity on social media. Especially for those who are busy at their jobs and in Long Distant Relationships.

"Because they rarely meet and the distance separates them, they even forget about the people who have been there for them for a long time. It must be painful," he muttered.

But he immediately thought of Victor and himself also doing LDR with each other. Moreover, sometimes they were busy with their work and felt lonely. He understood the feeling, but he never thought about cheating.

"He said his target is omega dominant, huh? Usually alphas really like omega dominants because they are the omega that will 100% give them children. Moreover, they look much cuter. But... There’s no way Vic... turn away from me for him, right?"

"DAREN!"

Instantly snapping out of his reverie, Daren turned to Mike who was staring at him with a piercing gaze and both hands gripping his shoulders. The man had just shouted for him and brought him to his senses.

"M-Mike, what’s wrong?"

"What’s wrong? You’re asking me that when you’re hurt like this?!" he asked irritably.

He looked at his own finger which was already bleeding and the blood was in his mouth as well.

Daren’s food had even arrived earlier, but he didn’t hear the food deliveryman calling. Mike woke up and took the food thinking Daren had fallen asleep sitting up.

However, when he turned on the light, the man’s finger was already bleeding from his own doing.

"I’m sorry, I just..." The look in his eyes dropped, which made Mike feel guilty and immediately hugged Daren.

"I’m sorry for yelling at you. It’s okay, you can tell me everything."
