Chapter 137: Daren’s Birthday

A few days passed, Daren’s birthday finally arrived and it was the birthday that Daren had been waiting for. Now he was exactly 25 years old, and that was a mature age for him.

As he had planned in the beginning, Daren just wanted to celebrate with the people in his house.

"Don’t let any of the decorations get damaged or look ugly because this is a memorable birthday for Master Deren," Edgar told the maids who helped set up the decorations for their Master’s birthday.

Mike helped with the decorations by preparing some of Daren’s favorite things.

"I’m sure Daren will love it. He really likes the stars, and also some other decorations," he said.

They were busy decorating for the man’s birthday, while he was still sleeping in his room and deliberately not woken up until all the decorations were finished.

When it was ready, Mike and the others came to Daren’s room carrying a birthday cake with candles already lit.

The door opened and they went inside, singing a birthday song.Daren woke up from his sleep and he was a bit surprised to see them suddenly enter.

"Oh, are you guys preparing a surprise for me?" he asked, looking very happy to see all the residents of his house coming to celebrate his birthday.

Edgar pushed Viona’s wheelchair closer to Daren so that she could hug her son. "Happy birthday my dear, you’ve finally grown up for the outside world. I’m very proud of you and happy for your birthday today."

"Thank you mom. I’m also happy to finally be at this point. And I also want to thank you guys for preparing a birthday surprise for me," the Omega told them all.

He felt like his family was complete because the people he loved and cared for were around him. Although there was still one thing missing, the presence of Victor, his lover, who he wished was there to celebrate his birthday.

Viona, who realized her son’s sadness, immediately comforted him and said that Victor would definitely come and wanted Daren to still understand about the Alpha’s busy schedule.

"You can celebrate again alone with him after he comes, now we better celebrate too. Make a wish and blow out your candles, dear," Viona told her son.

He nodded his head then closed his eyes to make a wish. ’I hope I will always be able to be with them, and keep us away from people with bad intentions. I also really want to see Victor again and I hope he will come soon,’ he said silently and blew out the candles on his birthday cake.

They all clapped and then invited Daren to go to the room where his birthday decorations had been set up. He felt happy that there were still people around him with him.

In the afternoon, Victor was tidying up his things to go to Daren’s house after he met his target later. He planned to leave after class and ride his motorcycle straight to the North. There was no way he could get on an airplane since his teaching hours ended at 10:00pm.

Flights stopped at 11pm and Victor knew he wouldn’t have time to get to the airport on time. Although he wanted to prioritize his boyfriend’s birthday, his work was also more important and he could not leave early because of this.

"I think everything is enough and I just need to prepare my bike for later. I hope there won’t be any problems later," he said even though he knew he would have to travel for almost 5 hours to arrive in North Zondalia.

He really couldn’t wait to meet Daren after all this time, especially with all the rumors flying around about his boyfriend. Plus, there were tons of infotainment interviews with Zach and Ace vying for Daren’s attention.

Of course as a lover Victor couldn’t stand anymore, but he also couldn’t do anything. All he wanted was to be near his Omega and have him once more before he had to be separated again for a month.

"Now I’d better eat dinner and then go to Addison’s house to meet the boy again. Lately he’s been making my head hurt more and more because it’s obvious how interested he is in me. But I definitely don’t want to be around him for too long," he muttered while massaging the bridge of his nose.

The man then went all the way to Addison’s residence and as usual he accompanied Liam to study. He couldn’t possibly keep distracting his target, so he occasionally taught his target.
