Chapter 133: Starting To Miss Him 2

Daren refuses to let Ace come to his birthday because he only wants to celebrate with his family. However, Ace kept insisting and even offering him things until he finally said something that left Daren stunned.

"I want to come to your birthday party because I’m going to be part of your family!" he said seriously.

Of course, Daren felt that there was something wrong with what Ace said to him. What did he mean by being part of his family?

Who was Ace and why did he keep approaching him in all sorts of ways?

"I don’t understand what you mean by saying that, Ace. Part of my family?" asked Daren who immediately responded with a nod of his head.

"Yes, part of your family! Because I was very attracted to you, Daren. Even before we met. I’ve always seen you in commercials, magazines and even all your movies and I admire and like you a lot!" he replied.

Ace said that his main motivation for becoming an actor was to meet Daren and be on the same level as him. He had been accepting a lot of jobs in order to be recognized by everyone and that had led to him being in the same shooting studio as Daren.

"I was very happy when I found out and tried my best to get close to you," he explains.

’He’s working this hard just so he can be on the same level as me? So he can be close and together with me? I admit his hard work is amazing, but...’ Daren was at a loss as to how to answer.

He admitted that Ace was great to be able to go to the same level as him when he had only been working for a year. However, of course Daren couldn’t accept that man because he already had Victor as his lover. He only loved Victor and even if he didn’t have a boyfriend, there was no way Daren would choose him.

’We’ve only known each other for a month. Whereas he started off as a fan who eventually became an actor like me. If I say no, he’ll be very disappointed,’ he thought in confusion.

Daren was worried that this would make Ace sad because it would mean that his struggle had been in vain if he told her that he already had an Alpha. But he also couldn’t hide the fact and pretend to accept it.

He sighed for a moment then finally answered.

"I’m sorry, Ace. But I already have a lover. He’s an Alpha, and I love him very much," Daren replied as he scratched his cheek lightly with one finger.

"R-really? Why didn’t you ever say that publicly?" he asked incredulously with a slightly shocked face.

"It’s because my Alpha doesn’t want to be publicized. I also want to protect his privacy as my lover. I don’t want his work to be hampered just because I showed his face to the public," he explained so that Ace could understand such a situation.

This is a common occurrence in the lives of actors and actresses. They didn’t want their partners to be exposed to the media and wished to remain a secret because it was their privacy and for their safety from rabid fans who might attack their partners.

The Beta man looked a bit disappointed with Daren’s answer, but he had no choice since he had to tell him.

’I feel bad for telling him, but he needs to know so he can move on and find someone better than me,’ the Omega thought.

In the end Ace took a sip of his tea and then excused himself to go home because he had some business to attend to. Daren knew that he wasn’t leaving because of that but because he was disappointed.

"He’ll get better on his own, trust me..." Viona said as she held her son’s hand.

"I hope so, mom."

Meanwhile, Victor was in Liam’s room and staring lazily at the Omega who was making something out of his ribbon. He wanted Liam to show him other talents besides studying, at least it could distract his focus for a moment.

"Then once we have it, we put glue on it and glue it to the stick like this," he explains.

He showed Victor the rose he had made from a ribbon and gave it to him. "For you Mr. Calvin!"

"Oh thank you." He accepted the blue rose. The color blue always reminded her of Daren whom he was dying to meet.

It had been a month, it felt like he would soon go crazy not being around his Omega. Not feeling Daren’s pheromones nearby made Victor want to run and hug him the next time he saw him.

"Huffft..." He sighed softly, making Liam turn to him and look at him in confusion.

"What’s wrong, Mr. Calvin? Don’t you like the flowers I made for you?" he asked.

"Hmn? I like them. I’m just thirsty, that’s all," Victor replied and drank the water in the glass.

But there was only a little water, so Liam offered to fill his glass. He took Victor’s glass and left the room.

While waiting alone, Victor opened his phone and saw Daren’s picture on the wallpaper. It was a picture of the two of them on their last date before he went on his mission.

"It’s his birthday soon, but at the same time I have to fulfill my mission. I have to keep coming, at least to see him for a few hours," he muttered.

He then looked around the room and found a bit of torn paper on the floor. He picked up the paper that looked like a photo and when he looked at it, it was a photo of a woman whose face was crossed out with a red pen until it was no longer visible.

However, he noticed that the woman’s hairstyle was very similar to Rie, Liam’s mother.

"Why is there a photo of Mrs. Addison torn and crossed out like this? Did he do this? But why would he damage and even cross out his own mother’s picture?" he asked curiously.

The alpha searched for another torn photo, which turned out to lead under Liam’s bed. Thinking Liam had not returned, he bent down to see what was under there.

His eyes widened, but he immediately narrowed his eyes when he saw what was under the Omega’s bed.

"This is..."
