Chapter 115: It’s All His Fault

Ever since the night of Marabella’s birthday party three months ago, Barney has been in his mansion alone with no one from his family. Just him and the servants, some of whom even chose to resign because they couldn’t work under Barney’s pressure.

Especially after Daren announced about the breakup of his relationship with the Wyne Family and would never return to the mansion, the servants chose to resign and no longer wanted to work at the mansion.

Mike and Edgar who were the main butlers were also no longer there, no one was leading them to organize what they should do or not.

As usual, they prepared breakfast for Barney who now lived alone. Ivan was still living in his apartment, reasoning that he still had to organize his belongings before finally moving into the mansion.

At exactly 7 am, all the servants stood in the dining room and looked at Barney who entered the room.

"Good morning, Master," they greeted him simultaneously.

However, Barney didn’t answer at all and just sat in his chair and started eating his breakfast. Every now and then he looked over at the chair that Viona and Daren used to sit next to.

Now there was only an empty chair without his Omega there. Lately he had sensed the restlessness of his Omega, after all they were bonded to each other.

When the Omega is threatened, the Alpha will know it. When an Omega is in pain, or sad, their Alpha can feel it too. Therefore Barney could sense something threatening in Viona.

Even so, he didn’t know where his Omega was. He tried to ignore it and move on with his life. However, of course it was very difficult, and Barney felt that he hated Daren even more.

"Aggh!!!" He pushed all the items on the dining table and dropped them on the floor.

In the chaotic situation, Ivan came and saw the messy dining room. Of course he was quite surprised but didn’t really care about that, because he knew the middle-aged man was a grumpy prick.

’This early in the morning already making a mess, what a troublesome old man,’ he thought at the time.

"Mr. Barney, what’s going on? Why are all the plates and everything else broken into such a mess?" asked Ivan, who again acted as if he was a good and innocent man.

He turned to Ivan and expressed his frustration, he hated Daren so much that he wanted to kill the man with his own two hands by strangling his neck.

Knowing that, a faint grin appeared on the Beta’s face, as if he had just gotten an idea from Barney’s answer earlier.

’Kill him, huh? Sounds interesting, a father killing his son. Especially since Daren won’t be able to resist the threatening pheromones of this old man who’s an Alpha. He’ll die easily.’

He then responded by trying to calm Barney down, saying he didn’t have to say that. But Barney didn’t care, he would find Daren and take him by force.

"But I think Daren is like that because of Axel’s influence too, Mr. Barney. Before he was still obedient when he was with me, but ever since Axel showed up, he never even wanted to listen to what I had to say. I think you should eliminate Axel too because he’s the brains of it all," he explained.

"Right... He should also be responsible for this. Alpha is the troublemaker, he must also be eliminated! They all have to die!" He picked up the knife on the table and plunged it into the table very hard.

He then called his men to find Daren and Axel wherever they were. Barney wanted the two men captured alive so that he could kill them himself.

He held Barney’s shoulder and smiled at him.

"This way Mrs. Viona and the others will definitely come back. I’m sure they’re just victims because Axel influenced Daren and it went from there to all of them. Once Axel is truly dead, everything will return to normal soon," he said.

Now Ivan had to find out where Daren and the others were. He was sure that they had moved on since their location was already known.

’Once I know where they are now, I will immediately inform this old man and his men will kill them. And after that..."

He looked at Barney who was still looking upset and frustrated.

’I’ll drive him insane until he has to stay in an asylum forever. His death is nothing to me, he should feel this suffering and madness too.’
