Kill Me Protect Me, Mr. Bodyguard -
Chapter 112: Anger And Wound
Chapter 112: Anger And Wound
The big mess at the villa was caused by Ivan wanting Daren to feel what he felt. And he laughed with satisfaction as he heard the screams through his phone. Especially when Daren is screaming while begging for his mother.
Laughing contentedly, he threw himself on the bed and looked up at the ceiling of his room.
"See? That’s how I feel when he takes away everything I have and you have to feel it! Ahahaha..." he laughed like someone who had lost his mind.
However, even though he was laughing triumphantly. There was something inside her that seemed to shake what she was currently feeling. Something that had doubts about what he was doing from the start, whether it was right or not.
Did everything have to be like this?
Should he be involved, even though he didn’t know anything that had happened in the past. Even from the beginning, what Daren did was a sincere thing for her.
The smile on his face instantly faded, turning into a blank stare and a feeling of not belonging. All this time the only person he was close to was Daren, even his friends on campus weren’t really friends with him unless they had bad business together.
There was no one he could share his triumphs with, he was alone. Even if Marabella finally fell into his hands, then what would Ivan do?
He planted the same grudge on Daren, was he just going to wait for Daren to come to him and do the same?
"Heh, shut up."

In the hospital room, Daren sat in a chair next to his mother’s bed. Viona lay in a coma with several devices attached to her body.
His hands continued to clasp hers, hoping for a miracle where Viona would wake up right away.
"I’m sorry, mom. All of this is my fault, I should have been the one to receive all of this, not you," he said repeatedly with tears flowing, clutching his hand tightly.
He felt very sad and hurt by what happened to his mother. But there was nothing he could do, Ivan had played him this far. Wanting him to feel what he had felt in the past. Something that wasn’t Daren’s fault at all.
But for now he didn’t want to think about anything first. He just wanted his mother to open her eyes and smile at him again. It was enough for him to lose Aldrich, not his mother too.
"Mom... Please open your eyes..." he pleaded in a pleading voice.
In another room, Axel was explaining Viona’s condition to Mike and Edgar who were placed in the same room.
"The doctor says that she can’t walk anymore, but he’s not sure if this is permanent or if it’s just going to be temporary," he explained.
"Madam Viona... I should have been able to protect her. But I just can’t do it, I’m a bad butler," Edgar said.
"It’s not your fault, father. It’s Ivan’s fault! It’s all that annoying guy’s fault, he dared to do something stupid like this! He should be blamed for this!" said Mike in annoyance but now neither he nor Edgar could do anything but wait for their own recovery.
They were also worried about Daren, Mike was sure that Daren was blaming himself right now.
Ring ring ring
Axel’s cell phone rang and he walked out of Mike and his father’s room. It turned out to be a call from Wilfred saying that he had found the sniper who had caused the chaos.
"Just come to the basement parking lot of the abandoned building Zohaa. I’m there waiting for you," Wilfred said over the phone.
"I’ll be right there," Axel replied and went to Daren’s room to invite him.
After 20 minutes, they arrived at the place Wilfred had told them about and there Daren saw a dark-skinned man with black hair, leaning against a wall post.
The man turned and approached them, of course he was Wilfred.
"You brought him? What for?" he asked Axel.
"He asked me to find this sniper. So I brought him here," he replied.
Wilfred nodded in understanding, then explained that the sniper was just an ordinary worker. He wasn’t a professional sniper.
"No wonder he doesn’t do headshots, and the price is so cheap. Heh, let alone every person he kills, the price is very cheap," he explained.
"How much for each head?"
"Only $500 to $700 for one victim."
Hearing that answer, Daren immediately approached the sniper who was staring intently at him. His hands were clenched tightly into fists because he was annoyed.
"So you kill for so little? You think someone’s life is worth $500?!" the Omega asked angrily after he saw the current state of his mother.
The sniper said that a person’s life had no value to him, the most important thing was the money he earned. If the price was cheap enough, there would be many who hired his services even though he was not a professional.
Of course, his answer made Daren even more annoyed, and he then smashed the sniper’s face very hard. Again and again, no one tried to stop Daren from what he was doing.
"Are you sure you’re going to let him do that? If that guy dies, your Omega is someone who thinks life is nothing," Wilfred asked his good friend.
He himself had no idea that Daren had that much power to beat someone up.
"What do you think we do?" Axel asked back, reminding the man next to him of their similar jobs.
"You almost killed my mom, you son of a b*tch!" snapped Daren as he continued to beat the face of the man currently beneath him.
The man could not retaliate because his body was tied to a chair. His face was so battered and swollen that he couldn’t see due to the severity of Daren’s blows.
"Ughhh... Forgive me, I’m sorry, I won’t do it again, I promise! I don’t want to die!" he begged Daren not to kill him.
Seeing that, Daren did not care and intended to beat him up again. However, Axel held his lover’s wrist.
"Don’t stain your hands by killing lowly humans like him," the Alpha said and pulled Daren away.
He carried his Omega to a water faucet that was still running. Daren huffed as he still felt upset and sad at the same time. Axel rinsed the man’s hand from the blood, leaving a stinging red mark on Daren’s knuckle. There were even a lot of scratches and cuts because he hit the sniper hard without stopping.
"You hurt yourself. But this time it’s life for life, your mother is alive right now even though she’s in a coma. That damn man you beat him up so badly that he was injured, so there was no need to kill him. You got what you deserved, do you understand?"
Daren nodded his head, burying his face into his Alpha’s neck.
"Thank you."
