Chapter 1295 - 1296 A Super Player’s Magnanimity

Chapter 1295: Chapter 1296 A Super Player’s Magnanimity

The following events proceeded quite smoothly. To prove that Han Yi hadn’t changed much since his teenage years, Brother Le provided a lot of information about him.

For someone as conspicuous as Han Yi, there’s plenty of news about him on the Collection of Information Terminal, and finding a pattern just requires some patience.

Brother Le is a somewhat inept imitator, or rather, a stalker; he is uniquely obsessed with Han Yi, collecting fragmented information with great interest, to the point of reciting them backward and forward.

Xu Huo was only looking for someone who knew some insider information, but he ended up with a pleasant surprise.

With the fragmented data collected by Brother Le, Xu Huo easily learned the general area and several fixed locations where Han Yi was active in Hua City.

However, from this information, it seems that the players around Han Yi follow him from dawn till dusk. Even when he stays outside, there are still several players accompanying him, with the support of location props.

As with the previous group of attackers, no one has been able to get close to Han Yi successfully, let alone kill him. When facing danger, he can completely hide within the location props until his people handle the matter, and he certainly won’t run out of props.

Xu Huo reviewed the notes recorded in his notebook, circled a few key spots, and then asked Brother Le a question, "How would you most want to approach him?"

Brother Le chuckled lowly, "When he’s having his tooth pulled."

Xu Huo let this tooth-removal-fascinated man go and then asked his two companions. Having obtained no more information, he closed the Spiritual World.

The people in the room were still immersed in the potion, and he opened the door to leave, nodding at Chen Chou, who was standing watch.

Chen Chou asked nervously, "Will they come for revenge later?"

"I used to be a psychologist," Xu Huo said lightly. "They won’t remember this incident when they wake up."

Chen Chou felt slightly relieved but couldn’t help asking, "Where are you going next?"

"What comes next has nothing to do with you," Xu Huo smiled. "You should go back."

Chen Chou hadn’t expected to detach himself so easily, but since Xu Huo had always kept his promises before, he found himself saying, "That incident... it was too risky, Brother Xu, you should reconsider, you’re quite capable, losing your life in Hua City is not worth it."

Xu Huo nodded to indicate he understood, "Goodbye."

He turned and left, leaving Chen Chou with some difficulty calming down. But after looking at his own situation, he could only feel dejected, preparing to return to the suite. However, unexpectedly, just as he turned around, a shadow suddenly appeared before him. The wheelchair happened to catch on the person’s leg. Instinctively, he apologized, but out of the corner of his eye, saw the shadow flicker, and that person drifted away lightly, disappearing.

There are players all over the game, and the inconspicuous man walking by the roadside could be a hidden boss, or the woman with pink hair speaking softly could be a murderer," he had gotten used to it.

Chen Chou gave a symbolic glance back.

After leaving this street, Xu Huo went back to the Direct District, found a relatively tall hotel to stay in, and observed the Direct District from an oblique angle.

Previously, while searching for remnants left by He Pu, he had speculated that the entrance to the mine might be in the Mining Corporation Building. The challenge was entering the building without drawing player attention, let alone entering a mine with an unknown door situation.

He Pu’s items elsewhere had saved him a lot of trouble, but now he needed to use the mine to achieve his purpose.

Idly spinning a lighter, his eyes rapidly scanned several key spots, before returning once more to the Mining Corporation Building.

After sitting alone on the balcony for a while, he casually glanced to the right, "Friend, you’ve been following me for so long, how about coming out for a cup of tea?"

A breeze swept across the balcony, and in an instant of closing and opening his vision, a seemingly frail middle-aged man appeared on the balcony’s glass railing. He wore a black trench coat washed to the point where edges looked white, stood with one foot on the paper-thin rail, one hand holding the wind-swept collar, also gazing toward the Direct District.

"Once, Hua City had a formidable Super Player," the man spoke, his voice as gentle as his appearance.

"Supposedly a member of the Han Family," Xu Huo responded.

"Not a Han Family member. He has some ties with the Han Family, promised to take care of their descendants, and left a fortune for them before dying. That fortune is a Secondary Stone mine that can produce prophecy-related props."

Xu Huo’s brow slightly moved, "Was the method he used to seal the mine uncrackable even by Super Players? There should be a new Super Player in Hua City now."

The trench coat man turned his head, his face somewhat blurry in the nighttime and lights, but his voice was very clear, "The premise of a bullet killing a target is having a target. The mine is a target that can’t be locked."

"A target that can’t be locked..." Xu Huo pondered on this phrase, seeming to align again with what the previous Rank-A Player had said. The Super Player sealing the mine used spiritual power; only this way could the door be fixed yet unfixed, to be destructible yet untouchable.

While he was contemplating, the trench coat man brought up another matter, "How big do you think a mine can be?"

"The scope of the one in Hua City probably exceeds the city’s boundaries," Xu Huo replied.

The trench coat man smiled vaguely, "Then why does everyone assume the entrance to the mine is extremely small?"

Xu Huo immediately understood, connecting it to the layout of Hua City, he suddenly had an idea, "You mean the entire Direct District actually rests on the portal to the mine?"

In other words, once the key to open the door is found, one can enter the mine from anywhere in the Direct District!

"Doesn’t using a double door for a Super Player’s capacity seem a bit comical?" The trench coat man graciously nodded slightly toward the Direct District, then transformed into a shadow, vanishing into the wind from Xu Huo’s sight.

Without pursuing the origins of the trench coat man, Xu Huo also left the hotel, entering the Direct District.

Though it was late at night, the Direct District was still bustling with people, and the streets were busy with hovercrafts coming and going. However, not all districts could be equally vibrant; some places were slightly quieter. Picking one at random, and a nondescript corner within that, disrupting two aerial monitors, he expanded his Spiritual World in a small area, descending from the ground to the underground.

Under normal circumstances, the underground should be closer to the mine than the surface. If the Direct District is covered by spiritual power, then this underground layer should also be within spiritual power.

Currently, Xu Huo’s Evolution level doesn’t allow him to open space, so after concentrating his spiritual power, he brought out the "Door of Idealism."
