Xu Huo smiled lightly, "I figured it out when finding the carrier. Seems like doing good deeds doesn’t pay off."

The captain glanced at his encrypted screen again, then said, "Thank you for your cooperation."

After speaking, he turned around and left, followed closely by his team members, none of them giving Xu Huo a second glance.

It seemed his suspicion was cleared, yet compared to this team, the words from High Ponytail and his companion seemed slightly more credible.

If it truly was medical papers impacting the Evolver’s future, how could the District 001 government only dispatch these few people for pursuit, and still conduct lie detection without entering the district government premises?

Additionally, the idea that such important medical papers could be stolen by two not-so-powerful players seemed illogical.
