Chapter 1245: Chapter 1246

(Wait for further changes) Xu Huo glanced upward before starting up the stairs. As he reached the third floor, he sensed someone rapidly descending in the middle of the building. Within a second, he shifted into the office floor and placed Shelter 101 directly below!

The fleeing player had originally been moving between floors using props, but unexpectedly landed right onto Shelter 101. With this game-derived metal prop, he couldn’t break through it. Upon spotting Xu Huo nearby, Xu raised a crossbow arrow and aimed it at him!

The arrow fired wasn’t a solid projectile but a semi-transparent ice shard that, upon piercing into the wall, quickly melted!

"I’m not looking for you," Xu Huo stated his position. But due to this brief pause, the player chasing from above had already descended the building. However, just as his feet emerged, a strange force knocked him back, carving a deep groove across the ceiling before finally crashing him into the wall.

In the next second, two figures and one stone lion landed on the same floor where Xu Huo and the fleeing player stood.

"Da Mao, attack!" Yan Jiayu called out and commanded the stone lion to pounce, while simultaneously slapping a muscle doll sticker onto her face. Her speed surged instantaneously, making her like an uncapturable missile, roaring as she charged toward the person by the wall!

The player evidently didn’t take Yan Jiayu’s reckless fighting style seriously. With a pat to his shoulder, a blue light arc immediately unfolded in front of him. Protected by the light arc, he didn’t spare Yan Jiayu another glance, instead shifting his focus to the stone lion jogging in circles nearby.

But as he was preparing to free himself up against the stone lion, Yan Jiayu—this living explosive—slammed forcefully into him. Whether or not she was carrying any invisible defense props, the impact of her body on the light arc immediately propelled the player against the wall, while cracks erupted across the arc!

"What?!" The man couldn’t hide his shock and was then blasted against the outermost wall of the building, only to be deflected back by a barrier locked against the wall.

Contrasting the other’s miserable state, Yan Jiayu, as the forceful attacker, landed steadily in the center of the room and charged forward with her Demon-Subduing Pestle raining chaos!

"Bang bang bang" came the sounds—one shield prop began to crack under the blows, forcing the player to retreat swiftly. Using a special characteristic to briefly curtail Yan Jiayu’s speed, he charged toward Xu Huo’s direction!

This government player who had yet to escape seemed to be his real target, but before he got halfway, a cold gleam swept toward him from the side!

The pursuing player quickly twisted aside, raising his arm to launch dozens of Cowhair Needles from his sleeve.

With the air barrier temporarily unavailable, Xu Huo decisively moved Shelter 101 forward and then pulled it back. During his counteroffensive, he simultaneously deployed "Extreme Fatigue" and "Progress Bar Disappearance."

The player immediately sensed props affecting his body. With a press to his sleeve, his clothes expanded and contracted like scales unfolding, their color shifting briefly before everything returned to normal. Fatigue no longer showed on his face!

Yan Jiayu and the stone lion closed in for the attack. The idle Da Mao received a smack on the backside, erupting in fury and pouring its rage into tearing at the pursuing player, who started retreating step by step.

"A vase’s effect!" The player threw a pad onto the ground. As Da Mao flailed about, its paw slid onto it and got pinned to the floor.

Nonetheless, this proved pointless. The violence-fueled stone lion dug up the ground instead, carrying the floor panel along with it. The pad’s restrictions posed no issues; it could bring the entire slab along.

While Da Mao became harder to deal with, Xu Huo and Yan Jiayu weren’t letting up. Yan Jiayu engaged in close combat, while Xu Huo supported with props and occasionally joined the fray. After three minutes of fighting, both sides took damage.

With his right foot planted atop Chen Chou, Xu Huo bent slightly, staring down at him. "You’re really out of luck, huh?"

Through the nearly indistinguishable bruising on his swollen eyes, streams of palpable despair flickered. Chen Chou whimpered weakly, seemingly giving voice to his final cry of defeat.

A full-grown man, and particularly an unattractive one—crying like this definitely wasn’t a pleasant sight, much less since his face now resembled a soaked pig’s head.

Disgusted, Xu Huo shifted his foot away. "Do you still have the flower card in your hand?"

Chen Chou’s eyes widened, and he quickly responded, "I do, I do! And the one who kicked me earlier has a Black Stone Holy Sword black card!"

"Oh?" Xu Huo raised his gaze toward the trio in the distance. Before the words left his lips, he was already moving toward them.

The man in the jacket was about to speak with his companions but turned to face Xu Huo’s sudden appearance. Before he could use any props, an iron collar tightened around his neck. As the collar constricted, his face turned crimson from the choking grip!

Meanwhile, the other two found themselves back-to-back, suspended mid-air by chains, each stripped bare from the waist down.

In just the blink of an eye, the three players were left hanging, humiliated and exposed.

The jacketed player, bereft of space-moving props after their failure, was near suffocation. His already bulging eyes rolled desperately, unable to utter a single word. On the contrary, the other two loudly cursed Xu Huo’s entire family.

Extending his telekinetic control to grab a dagger tossed away earlier, Xu Huo turned his gaze toward the player hanging by chains.

Noticing his focus lower, the player became alarmed and furious. "What are you planning to do?!"

"I’m wondering if castration really turns men into women," Xu Huo asked with genuine curiosity.

"Men can never become women!" the player shouted furiously. "You can kill me, but you can’t humiliate me!"

Xu Huo arched his brows before shifting his attention to the jacketed man beside him. "What about you?"

The collar loosened slightly, allowing the jacketed man to gasp deeply for air. A few seconds later, he muttered, "I don’t have any flower cards. Even if you kill me..."

Before he could finish, the collar tightened once again. The man’s hands clawed at his neck as his legs frantically kicked!

"Pop quiz," Xu Huo said, pulling the two back-to-back suspended players closer together. "How many cards does he have?"

During this, he dragged Chen Chou toward his direction as well.

With the tool net forcibly ripped off, the dagger fell beside him with a "clunk." Xu Huo stated calmly, "Between these two, whoever lies gets killed. Now, Chen Chou, how many cards do you have?"

"Two. I only have two cards," Chen Chou perked up, using an auxiliary prop to struggle upright. Maliciously, he glanced at the other two players’ lower bodies. "Kill either of them, it’s fine by me!"

In an unexpected turn of events, the player facing away from Xu Huo was the first to relent. "He only has one card—the Black Stone Holy Sword!"

Xu Huo relaxed his grip on the jacketed man and asked, "Is that true?"

The jacketed man stared hatefully, his mouth opening slightly as if he wanted to speak... but it turned out he didn’t need to.

Using the recently acquired White Card 15 to counteract Trap Card Black 19, Xu Huo cleared space in his hand before decisively ending the jacketed man’s life.

He truly only carried one Black Stone Holy Sword card.

With another black flower card in his possession, Xu Huo now held three black flower cards and one white flower card.

"Do you know where the other flower cards are?" he asked the two players nervously crouching nearby. "Provide accurate information, and you may earn the chance to live."
