"Didn’t you meet in the instance?" Xu Huo raised an eyebrow.

Players who enter instances may no longer have the escape card of tickets, but getting them to obey is not easy—especially since these players weren’t injured and didn’t seem like a hastily formed team.

"If that’s the case, then someone must have had leverage on you outside the instance." He smiled slightly. "In that case, persuading you to reveal information about the line-using Player seems unlikely."

His words, or perhaps his smile, struck some nerve in the Bald Head Player. In an instant, the massive figure sprang forward, once again charging at Xu Huo!

His speed was indeed fast, but it was not hard to predict. As Xu Huo stepped back, he swiftly arranged "Everything Wants to Slice" at the spot where he had just stood, waiting for the full-speed Bald Head to walk right into the trap.

The Bald Head had already experienced the sharpness of the Secant Line earlier, so he didn’t confront it head-on with a prop. Instead, he darted aside like lightning, circled around, and leapt toward Xu Huo’s retreating figure, aiming a punch straight for his left cheek!

This punch was likely supported by a prop, as Xu Huo felt the scorching heat from the force of the blow even half a meter away!

Instead of retreating far away, Xu Huo only stepped back two paces, then used "Life’s Burden" to cover the passage behind him.

"My turn!" The Bald Head Player steadied himself and laughed coldly, suddenly raising a shield as tall as a person. But this shield wasn’t a Defense Prop—it was an Attack Prop! He stepped back two paces, accelerated, and then hurled the massive shield forward!

The shield hurtled toward Xu Huo, emitting a misty barrier that expanded several meters upon release, slamming into Xu Huo before the shield itself reached him, pinning him against the walls of the maze!

Meanwhile, the Buzz Cut Player, wearing an exaggerated pair of floral-patterned gloves, pressed his hands onto the maze wall. Rippling patterns appeared on the otherwise still wall, sending waves toward the spot where Xu Huo was pinned.

The barrier created by "Unassailable Territory" was the first to collide with the maze wall. It was immediately grabbed and sucked into the wall by writhing vines, vanishing into its surface.

Forward pressure from one side, suction from the other—in the blink of an eye, half of Xu Huo’s body was already encased in the maze wall. His gaze shifted from the Bald Head in front of him to the Buzz Cut Player farther away, using "Identity Swap" to switch their positions.

In an instant, Xu Huo moved to where the Buzz Cut Player was standing, while the Buzz Cut Player took his place, forced into the maze wall!

The sudden change stunned both the Bald Head and Buzz Cut Players. They withdrew their actions immediately, but the latter couldn’t escape and was swallowed by the wall, leaving only the faint sound of breaking vines behind. The person himself was nowhere to be seen.

Seeing his teammate trapped, the Bald Head Player’s expression darkened. Instead of attacking the maze wall, he made a throat-cutting gesture at Xu Huo from a distance, then abruptly mimed tearing something toward himself.

Xu Huo allowed himself to be dragged forward. Just as he was about to approach the Bald Head, he flung the "Constriction Collar," clasping his hands together to follow up—but the collar failed to close around its target. As it neared the Bald Head’s throat, a sudden swing of an axe from his hand severed it cleanly!

"Did you think only you have Rank-B props?" The Bald Head roared as he charged again toward Xu Huo, wielding a pair of massive axes in both hands, wildly slamming them against Xu Huo’s Defensive Barrier!

Even though a Rank-B prop couldn’t break the barrier of "Unassailable Territory," it forced Xu Huo into retreat. At such a close range, other small utility props became nearly useless. The constraints imposed by the defensive props’ activation conditions rendered them ineffective. Xu Huo instead tossed out the "Fast-damage Ice Ball."

The "Fast-damage Ice Ball" had the appearance of an Ice Pearl. It could auto-pilot attacks on targets, freezing an area covering a square meter upon collision. If it struck a person, the freezing effect wouldn’t be easily neutralized.

As the Ice Pearl darted through the air, Xu Huo used the Secant Line to disarm the twin axes, then drew his blade to shatter the Bald Head’s Defensive Barrier, following up with the "Backstab" prop.

"Backstab" was a stealth prop, colorless and formless, that attacked only from behind. As Xu Huo kicked toward the Bald Head’s face, the opponent reflexively retreated, exposing his back and triggering the Backstab attack. Even through his close-range Defense Prop, a distinct bone-cracking sound echoed!

"Bang! Bang!" Two muffled impacts followed. The Bald Head Player, momentarily slowed by the stealth prop’s ambush, was struck squarely by the Ice Ball, freezing his legs solid!

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Xu Huo raised his long blade, slashing downward toward the Bald Head’s forehead!

"Barehanded Blade Catch!" With his legs frozen and movement limited, the Bald Head didn’t even try to dodge. Instead, he planted himself firmly, standing in a provocatively defiant posture that seemed to say, "Come at me if you dare."

In the brief interval, the Bald Head Player’s legs had already thawed and healed completely. Rolling his shoulders briefly, he grabbed the two axes again, once more charging at Xu Huo!

The next thirty seconds turned into a dizzying melee of blades and axes. Whether in strength or speed, Xu Huo held his ground throughout the clash!

After thirty seconds, the Bald Head Player suddenly pulled back, creating a gap of dozens of meters between them. He stared at Xu Huo and said, "I underestimated you... Are you also a Cannibal Player?"

Xu Huo flicked his long blade, his expression calm as he looked at him. "Hefty injuries, huh? You’ve been borrowing a prop just to maintain your strength for thirty seconds. I wonder if you can handle the next thirty."

Even as his voice trailed off, Xu Huo took the initiative to attack. It was as though he had adopted the Bald Head’s previous fighting style, relying solely on overwhelming strength to suppress his opponent, spurning the use of props entirely.

This finally rattled the Bald Head Player. He retreated while continuously tossing props forward. Yet Xu Huo stalked him through spatial pathways, evading every prop with ease. As the Bald Head Player’s speed faltered, Xu Huo appeared directly behind him.
