Indeed, a saint’s Taoist field stands outstanding everywhere!

As they say ’misfortune might become a blessing’, after a major calamity, their mental states would have improved, more or less. Once their mindset clears, their cultivation progress naturally quickens. In no time, they would break their current levels and reach new heights.

The same applies to divinities in the Heaven Court. They seemed to be imprisoned in the Investiture of Gods, but isn’t that another form of cultivation for them?

All the disciples from the Chan Teaching survived the calamity, resulting in a large advancement of their cultivation. They accomplished the fruit position of Innate Dao Sovereign, becoming ageless, free and unfettered.
