Chapter 592: Four Eight Zero Great Sun Tathagata_2

The Great Sun Golden Crow, as the spirit of the Great Sun, should have been protected by the Sun Star, without worries or calamities over its lifetime, easily achieving the status of an Innate Dao Sovereign.

Yet the nine brothers of the Great Sun Tathagata not only perished brutally at the hands of the Witch Clan, but even in death, their bodies were left unattended and ultimately stolen.

The root cause was the severity of the nine Golden Crows’ errors, so grave that the Sun Star itself could not shield them.

The reason their bodies were left alone ultimately lies with the Great Sun Tathagata.

The ten Golden Crows’ errors were too grave, turning the land into barren soil, drying up rivers, and incinerating numerous living creatures. The ensuing battle between the witches and demons was initiated due to them as well.

This aggregation of wrongdoings incurred a karmic force too overwhelming, leading to the fall of nine out of the ten Golden Crows. But because nine Golden Crows had already fallen, the tenth Golden Crow, the Great Sun Tathagata, managed to survive.

The protection of the Sun Star was limited. With ten Golden Crows coexisting, that meant ten beings sharing the fate bestowed by the Sun Star – none of them received a lot.

But after the death of nine Golden Crows, the protection of the Sun Star was monopolized by the single, remaining Golden Crow.

And thus, the fate of the ten Golden Crows surged tenfold, which allowed them to remain alive, didn’t it?

But the surge in fate only allowed them to survive, not expunge their amassed karma. With their mounting karma, it was unlikely the tenth Golden Crow would attain the Innate Dao Sovereign realm in the future.

Di Jun contemplated back and forth and, for the future of the ten Golden Crows, had to make an incredibly painful decision. That was to leave the bodies of the nine Golden Crows unattended and use his significant divine ability to transform their corpses into nine hot springs.

The purpose was to allow the bodies of the nine Golden Crows to persist in the world, partially absorbing the karma of the tenth Golden Crow. With the pressure divided among the nine Golden Crows, the tenth Golden Crow’s karma was reduced to one-tenth of the original amount.

Later on, Di Jun and Taiyi joined forces to perform a cleanse on the tenth Golden Cow, completely washing away his karma.

With the assistance, the tenth Golden Crow weathered the calamity. By monopolizing the fate of the ten Golden Crows, he quickly achieved the Innate Dao Sovereign realm. Subsequently, after the fall of Di Jun and Taiyi, the only offspring of the Crow Clan left was the tenth Golden Crow.

Now, the fate of the Sun Star was monopolized by the tenth Golden Crow.

It was also from then on that the cultivation of the tenth Golden Crow advanced by leaps and bounds, and after Investiture of the Gods, attained the quasi-saint realm. He joined the Buddhist door and became the leading figure, Great Sun Tathagata.

In terms of generation, the tenth Golden Crow was a peer of the third-generation disciples of the Mystic Sect. However, his power far exceeded his peers, his cultivation catching up with the Great Divine Transcendents, which was due to his monopolization of the fate of the Sun Star.

Otherwise, do you think the Great Sun Tathagata’s talent far exceeds his peers?

He was only a second-generation Golden Crow, an Innate Divine Demon. Although he was not like his fathers and uncles - Innate Divine Saints, his talent was quite strong, but not extraordinary.

All beings are Innate Divine Demons whose talents all exist on the same level. The only thing that made the Great Sun Tathagata stronger than others was his unique fate. Rarely in the Prehistoric World could anyone compete with it.

...

"Look, he’s getting anxious."

"Ah, do you guys think that Little Golden Crow is so angry because he is worried about his elder brother’s corpse being desecrated or is he worried about himself?"

"You know, if the corpses of those nine Golden Crows are destroyed, those past karmic forces without an anchor will all return to haunt him."

"If that happens..."

"Tsk, tsk, it will be impossible for him to further progress, reaching a realm like ours."

The Great Divine Transcendents couldn’t help but whisper seeing the Great Sun Tathagata so angry.

They doubted the motivates of the Great Sun Tathagata. It was either he was genuinely angry because of his fraternal feelings or he was concerned about his Path of Dao.

The Great Divine Transcendents having these doubts weren’t without reasons. The fact was, the character of the Great Sun Tathagata wasn’t quite up to par. It was almost an open secret among the Great Divine Transcendents that the ten Golden Crows had been tricked by Saint Zhunti into the Soup Valley.

Everyone assumed that the Great Sun Tathagata knew about it. Yet even so, he chose to join the Buddhist door, even bowing to his enemy.

Because of this, the Beijulu Continent broke all ties with this remaining prince of the Demon Clan. Everyone secretly despised him, though nobody spoke of it.’

...

To touch the bodies of the nine Golden Crows meant that their karma would return to the Great Sun Tathagata, and hence, no one in the Three Realms dared to touch the remains of the Golden Crows. To do so would mean eternal conflict with the Great Sun Tathagata.

Destroying someone’s path in life is worse than killing them. This kind of grudge cannot be resolved and can only lead to death.

That’s why, even after all these years, no one dared to disturb the Golden Crow’s remains. The Great Sun Tathagata was always afraid that those accumulated karmic forces would latch onto him at the merest hint of his presence, so he never once looked at those Golden Crow corpses.

It’s only Jiang Chen, naive and oblivious, who boldly approached the corpses without sensing any danger, even considering that he had stumbled upon an enormous opportunity.

Little did he know, if the Dao Examiner was not a Innate Treasure capable of blocking all Heavenly secrets, he would have been swiftly extinguished by the Great Sun Tathagata at the moment he touched the Golden Crows’ bodies.

Back in the day at the Li Mountain’ hot springs, Jiang Chen had unknowingly saved his life.

It seems that ignorance is bliss.
