Chapter 1536: 117 Aliens! Aliens!_2
On the road to achieving the Dao, it’s not that there are no shortcuts. Should someone be able to devour all three thousand demon gods, merging the three thousand Great Dao as one, they would instantly step into the realm of the Eternal Dao.
In fact, this method can hardly be considered a shortcut. Although it sounds simple, in reality, it’s utterly unachievable.
Even Pangu Great God, who was able to kill the three thousand Chaos Demigods, was not able to devour them.
However, it’s not necessarily impossible. Pangu Great God indeed did not achieve it, but the Chaos World did. The origins of those three thousand Chaos Demigods were mostly devoured by the Chaos World.
This is also why the Chaos World possesses the potential to ascend to an eternal world. For, after devouring the origins of the three thousand Chaos Demigods, it has become complete, embracing a trace of the true essence of eternity.
Why, when Pangu broke the sky, did the Great Dao bestow Merit? Herein lies the reason. The Chaos World holds the possibility of ascending to an eternal world, thus the Great Dao treated it differently, personally bestowing Merit.

"The matter of my primordial spirit is not urgent; I should first elevate my state of mind."
"The method of Slaying Three Corpses, passed down by the Taoist Ancestors, surely isn’t the strongest method of achieving the Dao, but it’s the most reliable, with the highest success rate."
"In particular, when it comes to the state of mind, it stands unrivaled by anyone, not even the Chaos Demigods. I could try to study it and use it as a trial with Yunhua Life to enhance my state of mind."
Unable to find a solution for the primordial spirit for the time being, Jiang Chen set his sights on improving his state of mind.
Although there are few shortcuts to elevate one’s state of mind, it is not entirely without them.
For example, the method of Slaying Three Corpses by the Taoist Ancestors after slaying all three corpses, one’s state of mind becomes as impartial as the Heavenly Dao, unaffected by emotions, remaining undisturbed amidst the changing tides, heaven and earth collapsing; I alone am at peace.
At such a state of mind, everything can be viewed with the utmost calm, thus naturally quickening the advancement of one’s realm.
The current Six Saints, each volatile without constancy, hardly resemble a Saint. Jiang Chen suspects this is because they took shortcuts and failed to fully slay their Three Corpses before attaining sainthood, leaving their actions swayed by their emotions.
The reason why the Taoist Ancestor is the Taoist Ancestor, the foremost figure through the ages, unrivaled by anyone, certainly lies in his power. At the very least, as of now, Slaying the Three Corpses is the best method to achieve the Dao, with none to match it.
If this were not the case, with so many methods of achieving the Dao available back then, why was the method of Slaying Three Corpses the one that flourished? It might not be the strongest, but it’s certainly suitable for the majority.
The method of Slaying Three Corpses, in conjunction with Jiang Chen’s previous idea of creating billions of incarnations and venturing into the mortal tribulations, would enable him to perfect his state of mind in the shortest time.
However, for the mortal tribulations, the cooperation of a goddess is needed. As the saying goes, solitary yang does not produce and solitary yin does not grow; the union of yin and yang is essential.
...
...
While Jiang Chen was in seclusion, the Nine States gradually steadied according to his will. The outpouring of spiritual energy began to slow down and was no longer as violent as before.
His subordinates, after constructing the Divine City, also began recruiting staff to prepare for the relocation of the common people.
And in these continuous changes, just as Jiang Chen had previously thought, the survival pressure on the Yellow Heaven Dao grew greater. Within the Nine States, their breeding grounds were fast disappearing.
The Yellow Heaven Dao, which had once swept across several states, was now reduced to a couple of quiets survivors, languishing in unnoticed corners.
Of course, in such a situation, those who remained unwaveringly faithful to the Yellow Heaven Dao were definitely the most loyal and fervent believers. No matter what changes occurred, nothing could shake their faith in the Yellow Heaven Dao.
To put it simply, they were beyond help.
But fanatics are after all a minority, and as the Nine States continue to improve, eventually, the Yellow Heaven Dao will completely lose its territory, and time is running out for them.
...
Currently, everything in the Nine States is developing in a good direction, and since the Nine States is the source of turmoil in the Three Realms, the stability of the Nine States naturally brings stability to the Three Realms.
In conclusion, with Jiang Chen’s seclusion, the Three Realms are now in a state of peace, as if the calamity has completely passed and tranquil days have truly arrived.
However, those with foresight know that the current calm is merely the quiet before the storm. Beneath that invisible surface, who knows how many undercurrents are surging.
Outside the Nine States, in the vast Dongsheng Divine Continent, shadows of powerful figures come and go within a mysterious ancient temple.
These figures, in appearance, are no different from the Human Race, their aura is similar too; unless it’s someone extremely familiar with them, one would really think it was the Human Race gathering.
But if there were high-ranking members of the Human Race here, they would recognize the identities of these people, without exception, they are all experts of the alien race. Essentially, the un-declined sects of the alien race all have experts here.
At this moment when Jiang Chen is in seclusion and Heaven and Earth have returned to calm, these experts of the alien race are gathered in this mysterious ancient temple, it’s unknown what they intend to discuss.
The mysterious ancient temple, located in a corner of Dongsheng Divine Continent, is not very far from the Nine States. It is enveloped by a mysterious formation, seemingly completely isolated from Heaven and Earth.
It’s clearly right there, but without the corresponding token, even a Quasi-Saint passing by would fail to detect the existence of this ancient temple.
This is the stronghold of the Alien Alliance, and this temple is called the Hall of Gods, built jointly by the many alien forces that have left the Human Race.
How ambitious they are can be discerned just from the name of the Hall of Gods; they wish to become exalted deities, reigning over Heaven and Earth.
There is a Tao in Hongmeng, the Gods are with the Tao.
The gods referred to here are not of the Divine Dao, but imply supreme status, just as "emperor" symbolizes the ultimate authority.
The Alien Alliance, it’s a force that only members of the alien race can join. At that time, many of the alien forces could not resist the temptation and chose to leave the Human Race.
At that moment, they were enticed by the prospect of a bright future, only thinking of the benefits of leaving the Human Race, not understanding the cost or the disadvantages of such a decision.
But as time went by, they gradually came to the realization that with their strength, they could never be the opponents of the Human Race.
Thus, for self-protection and to band together for warmth, those alien forces that left the Human Race chose to unite, forming the Alien Alliance and establishing the Hall of Gods.
"Has everyone arrived?"
Inside the Hall of Gods, a young man with purple hair, his body like jade, radiating a crystal luster, said to the people around him.
The Hall of Gods is vast, but inside it’s extremely spacious, without any decorations, there are only towering seats for the gods. Each seat represents an alien force.
And from the order of these seats, one can deduce the hierarchy of the Alien Alliance. At the highest position is a magnificent divine throne, surrounded by the Sun, Moon, and Stars, as if it’s the center of Heaven and Earth, signifying the ultimate power.
This is the throne for the master of the Hall of Gods, but it remains suspended, unoccupied, more symbolic than practical.
The Hall of Gods is leaderless; since it’s an alliance, everybody is ostensibly equal, at least in name, and no one wants someone else above them.
If the Hall of Gods had a master, all aliens would be under his rule. What then would be the point of leaving the Human Race?
Rather than that, it would be better to stay within the Human Race. At least, a hypothetical master of the Hall of Gods would certainly be lesser than the Human Emperor.
Below the main seat, there are nine positions, representing the nine strongest alien forces. And below them, there are over three hundred seats, representing three hundred alien forces.
Without a doubt, to be called a god, one must at least possess the strength of an Innate Dao Sovereign. Thus, the forces that have a seat in the Hall of Gods each have at least one Innate Dao Sovereign standing behind them.
At least three hundred Innate Dao Sovereigns, that’s the current strength of the Alien Alliance, undoubtedly very formidable.
